>Opening theme starts to play before the final fight

>fast instrumental jazz and code geass mech fights
yes

>A special version of the Opening theme starts to play before the final fight

>opening theme starts to play for the final blow of the final fight

>ED starts playing
>china gets nuked

opening or epic theme starts playing but is then interrupted by the villain revealing his badassery

When did this happen except for Aizen interrupting Number One in Bleach?

>NOW YOU FEEL LIKE NUMBAH ON----

this is my fetish

>an acoustic version of the opening theme starts playing during the last scene before the main heroine dies

>Opening theme starts to play before the final fight
>The climax of the fight occurs with a different theme that isn't as good.

>Classical or Romantic Music plays during a huge battle

>Both the ED and the OP are great.

>Saitama vs Boros

Muh dick

>Karaoke scene
>The characters sing the opening

>opening theme starts to play before the beginning of the episode

>Karaoke scene they sing a different anime's OP
CHA-LA HEAD CHA-LA!

>it didn't play at the serious punch
>no dedicated scene to the serious punch
It could've been better

>opening theme plays during the opening

>no dialogue or music playing during the final fight
>only thing you hear is the characters hitting each other

everytime

>The op or Ed animation changes slightly over time or every episode.
I don't understand do you love it or not I do.

love it, because I love Lucky Ster

>The op or Ed animation changes slightly over time or every episode.
and school live!! is the master of that

Not anime, but Sonic Adventure did that and I hate it for that

ROLLING AROUND AT THE SPEED OF SOUND

>Opening theme's lyrics are actually about the villain but you don't realize that until the last episodes

That wasn't even a fucking "special version", was it now? Just the usual "OP midway through finale" which literally every action show does now.

WHAT IS LIFE! WHAT IS THIS! I CANT DO IT ANYMORE JOHN! AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNN

It was the second verse from the song, the OP uses the first verse. So, relative to the show, it was special.

>No OP at the beginning of the final episode.
>Full OP plays during the epilogue.

>Special version of the OP with all of the singers of the previous OPs plays during the final episode

>show parodies its own opening
youtube.com/watch?v=8XVrS74EX68

>mfw when it unexpectedly happened

youtube.com/watch?v=OXkbQoXNusc

i get chills watching this

>Tsubasa Wo Kudasai plays during a scene when the world ends / a bunch of people die / some other edgy thing

Are you sick of this Sup Forums?

>upbeat OP plays, you know shits about to go down
>sad, slow version of OP plays after someone dies
IT JUST FITS SO GOOD

not anime,but
THIS FUCKING SHIT
youtu.be/0yWxLO2Zi2A

they did this in the fist of the north star finale and it made my dick diamonds.

>they were to lazy to compose a new theme so they just reuse the opening for the final fight

Jojo part 3 and 4

Asura's Wrath might as well be an anime.

God DAMN dude that railgun shot gets my dick hard every time.

youtu.be/gwMYLzePzgk

>when the other characters start joining in on the song at 0:51

>OP gets interrupted midway
>riff still playing during the interruption
>proceeds normally right after

That was tanoshii as hell.

>Final fight starts before the first OP
it has actually been done

>final fight happens without music
>hero wins, still no music
>hero befriends non-villainous main antagonist
>OPENING THEME FULL BLAST
Yes, it also has ben done

Overdone as fuck

>a second verse of the opening theme plays during the final fight

Hi, Sky Girls

what?
I just googled saitama vs boros, that was the most impressive looking image on page 1.

I was just posting another series that did the same thing back in 2007, user

my bad.

>Magical girls
And I thougth 7 was bad

youtube.com/watch?v=GJMD3eO7tpE

>this starts playig every time Maou gets serious

>First season's first opening theme plays during the final fight of the last season
>Second season's first opening theme is used as an insert during the second cour of the second season
>Movie insert song is used as an insert song in the anime's last season
Why did Shana have such good music?

After that scene my erection lasted so long i had to see a doctor

Damn I was just thinking the exact same thing. The hype Open Your Heart part of the final battle gives way to stock background music right before the grand finale. Like why?
At least SA2 learned from this and had Live and Learn play all the way through the fight with Finalhazard.

Will there ever be anything better than what DiU did that day?

besides Rebuild 2.0 what else does this

>>First season's first opening theme plays during the final fight of the last season
This is the best thing ever. Any more examples?

Does Gurren Lagann have the most hype music of any series? I can't think of anything that beats hearing Libera Me From Hell in the last few episodes.

DON'T LOSE YOUR WAAAAAAAAAAY almost matches it.

>not youtube.com/watch?v=GZUN89RaP60

Step it up
youtube.com/watch?v=BmUpIuHqmzg

>DON'T LOSE YOUR WAAAAAAAAAAY
The rap doesn't work as well there in my opinion, I don't any of the rapless edits either since the song doesn't work fro me at all without those bits.

Don't Lose Your Way is kinda retroactively disappointing for me, because it was the anthem of the hype train leading up to KLK. And when KLK kinda fell flat in the second cour and didn't end anywhere as nearly as strongly as TTGL, it really just hit me hard.

Not quite "last" because it was a rather long-running series, but Keroro's first OP went full blast in quite a few end-of-season battles.

youtube.com/watch?v=Mn6tjjnzHUs

When fucking Haifuri parodies it by having the Sailor's Song turned into a scary chorus right before a big battle where nobody dies, you know the "let's put a chidlren's song as scary music" meme has been overdone.

>b-side song of the op/ed single plays as an insert song during a sudden magical girl scene
It was a very pleasant/exciting surprise.

The end of S3 was just amazing.

>character gets a solo ed after and episode about them

>Attack card coincide with a line of the lyric.

>movie announces itself with own song
>uses series OP instead

>Ending theme starts before the credits as the episode ends on a cliffhanger

>end of the episode smoothly transitions to the ED

>JoJo DIU finale
Epic

>instrumental ED starts playing at the end of a sad episode

>Fell flat in the second core
What a fuckin cuck, second half of KLK was pure hype all the way through.

is this a jojo reference

>tragic scene ends the episode
>the regular upbeat ED plays anyway

wtf is this edgy bullshit?

Crying but also jamming out to the ED.

Which animals has done this

I need to know for... Research purposes

>ED grows more detailed and varies, startlingly so if you're bingewatching, as you get more and more of an idea of the real situation and villain's identity

>SHINING
>JUSTICE

>slight changes in the OP as the series goes on

What series do these things?

>TOMMY singing Great Days
I came

Witch Craft Works did this well

Was thinking of Gintama.
Kintoki Arc
Popularity Poll Arc
Genderbender Arc
Sleeping with everyone arc
probably more I'm forgetting.

>Last fight turns out to be a fist fight

>last big fight actually turns into fixing the problem without violence and no one uses their power ups

I'm never going to forget an episode of Bleach that did this. I high gets stabbed in the fucking gut, there's blood everywhere and the suddenly "HAPPY PEOPLE..." killed the tension so hard I had to laugh.

>final episode has the main characters reach a resolution and real friendship only to part ways
youtube.com/watch?v=OS-b5nt88Yk&ab_channel=陳謙益

Referring specifically to Monster in my post ()

>OP is played after the final fight

Planetes and Gakkou Gurashi do

>A medley of all the opening themes start to play during the final battle, with the original OP being the ending song

>pink blood
>some bitch with a chainsaw
>shit gets more and more ridiculous
>it's edgy

Naruto actually did this really well in the final Sasuke vs Naruto fight.
