Which ghibli movies are your favourites/essential to watch?

Princess Mononoke, Nausicäa, Spirited Away

Just watch Mononoke, My Neighbours the Yamadas and Only Yesterday. The rest are forgettable and boring. Ocean Waves is kind of passable.

All of them

i'll check out nausicaa, thanks

i'll see the others. I've seen mononoke, but idk, it didn't seem like anything special

Thanks for the others though, any particular reason why?

>The rest are forgettable and boring.

i was expecting more depth, but whatever. Thanks anyway.

Cute movie.

We will ever see a third movie where Baron is reunited with his old love?

They're all boring, shallow shit. Miyazaki should step aside and make way for the new king of anime movies.

He isn't wrong, faggot

Read the manga too. The movie only covers like 2 volumes.

They are enjoyable movies but the fact he uses the same theme constantly makes a majority of them a little forgettable and only a few which have a unique edge stand out.

Spirited Away, Porco Rosso, GotF and that other one about the dead children. You know, the one you posted.

I'm unable to choose my comfiest one.

Nausicaa
Castle of Cagliostro
Laputa

Favourites: Totoro, Wind Rises and Only Yesterday
Essential: everything by Miyazaki, everything by Takahata, Whisper of the Heart

Porco Rosso because it's the only good ghibli movie

Howl's moving castle and Mononoke hime

all of them, bar some of the new ones

Hotaru no Haka

I dislike normie alarmism but this is actually some Reddit tier shit. You don't belong here
