How does Sup Forums feel about subsidizing Walmart employees?

Walmart has 2.1 million employees. This total number averages out to less than $0.50 per employee per year in benefit. Now think about what they pay in taxes.

Serious question. Are leftists actually retarded? Or do you know youre spreading misinformation and just not care, because of "any means necessary" or whatever?

Disregard, it says each store. But I want to know where they get thst number from.

It's almost like we should end government welfare in all aspects, citizen and business alike, because it's fucking cancer and causes nothing but problems

Give all cashiers $15 minimum wage so they can be replaced by self checkout booths, duh

I think those beaners and fat cunts can get ABSOLUTELY FUCKED and every single one of them can kill themself

Every walmart around here employs loads of Haitian and Dominican illegals

>How many people work at walmart
>How many of those people claim benefits
>How much money is given to those people

The average wage for an Wal Mart employee is already almost $13 an hour. Their minimum is like $10 for new hires. This meme that they somehow abuse their workforce is stale.

Are you forgetting how much money they make in sales tax?
5-10% in nearly every state.
Most stores see over 50mil annually.
At ten percent that is 5 mil U.S.D. that it has grossed for the country.
Add in the stores that do even better and our economy pretty much runs on Walmart.
This doesn't include the taxes that the store pays itself for its profit.

So it's more accurate to state that Each store gives the states money to pay for their own employees and infinite numbers of other businesses employees.

US welfare is set up so that if you work too much, you actually lose money faster than you gain money from wages. This "Welfare Cliff" is responsible for many poor people refusing small increases in both wages and hours.

If you have a welfare system, companies know they can pay workers less, especially when it's a welfare system that traps people like ours. Without welfare, unions and individuals would be incentivised to do more to negotiate for higher wages.

They still probably get benefits when places like Uber or Amazon fuck you over with their "gig" jobs.

The solution is not to increase wages at Wal-Mart, the solution is to abolish the welfare state. If Wal-Mart paid more, the employees on food stamps would stay on food stamps and spend their paychecks on McDonald's and 70" TVs.

free market will fix it

I've been working at walmart for over 12 years now. Feel free to ask me anything on the subject.

That's truly fucking evil.

Ever worked maintenance and had to clean those public restrooms?

Are people happier since the 2015 pay raises? I got like 4 raises that year.

I was asked if I wanted to and turned it down because I don't want to acquire hepatitis

And? If it taxes government assistance to work full time you don’t deserve to be a semi monopoly.

not really all that much hype over it as my annual raises have gone from $0.40- $0.50 to last years $0.22. Fucking bullshit that's only offset by the PTO payout in March (which was about $1800 for me after taxes).

I was given that job and quit after two paychecks by just not showing up. Worst experience of my life. On one of my nights to clean them some guy fingerpainted the walls and floor with his stool. I refused to clean it so some old man with tenure did it. Never again.

Do you ever plan on moving up in life? Getting a better job? If not then why haven't you offed yourself by now?

What's your job and how much do you make an hour?

Why are the shelves so fucking empty?

Why is there so much shit on the floor?

Why do you have so many god damn registers if only two of them are ever open?

Why is it impossible to find someone on the floor?

Why do all Walmart employees look like circus sideshow freaks? At my local Walmart there's this gigantic fat bitch with these long stringy chin hairs, some old woman with a massive hump on her back, and this freak with a literally purple face and massively inflated lips. Why?? Why the fuck hire circus sideshow freaks then put them in charge of touching my god damn food?

How come the store always smells like wet moldy peanuts?

Why is this a true statement for literally every single Walmart in the US? Even in fancy rich neighborhoods?

>infinite numbers

No.
I agree with the rest of your remark, but you lost me right here.

Hes right. My starting pay is 10.50

Wait, I thought hip kids liked socialism nowadays...

And with this Surely you want that money for health-care and roads for oil cars and the creation of, and then exploitation of, refugees an shit right?

My retired father in law gamed Social Security too.
>at 65 he was ...
>retired teacher drawing teacher retirement
>social security retirement from paying into that
>then worked a job teaching drivers ed
>but didn't work too much ...
>cause then he'd have to pay some taxes on this social security wages.

he dead nao tho

Yes, social service programs penalize hard work and progress of clients. Caseworkers are also urged to cultivate large caseloads. So clients down on their luck but with motivation to take advantage of programs to move ahead are going to be denied benefits on technicalities; they'll mean too much work for a caseworker with a massive caseload. Lazy slobs who do the bare minimum are perfect because caseworkers can automate their work.

They also receive massive incentives form each town they move in to. Everyone on the city council and chamber of commerce wants to put a finger in the pie, so public land is sold at discount, taxes are waived, surveying and environmental impacts are COMPED. Basically anything to make sure the right people get contracts for pouring concrete, plumbing, etc. Couple that with the public welfare dependent employees and the propensity to sell Chinese made bull shit and you can begin to understand why the Walton family donates so heavily to Neocon globalists politicians' campaigns.

Do you ever see demons in people?

sorry to hear about that

>Do you ever plan on moving up in life?
After failing a GED a number of times, that's impossible
>Getting a better job?
There are no better jobs that match my hourly wage.
>If not then why haven't you offed yourself by now?
I just hope my life insurance recipients don't spend the money all in one place.

>Why are the shelves so fucking empty?
CAP1&2 being lazy
>Why is there so much shit on the floor?
Maintenance person can't keep up
>Why do you have so many god damn registers if only two of them are ever open?
Black Friday
>Why is it impossible to find someone on the floor?
The question sould be "Why is it impossible to find someone on the floor that speaks unintelligible english?"

>Why do all Walmart employees look like circus sideshow freaks? Entry-level employment

>How come the store always smells like wet moldy peanuts?
Home Office probably has to do with it.

>Why is this a true statement for literally every single Walmart in the US? Even in fancy rich neighborhoods?
that's correct

grocery. $14.00/hr

Ok,
>near infinite numbers
The kind simple people like us can't fathom.

I was just stating the facts as are given, the political reason behind them is a completely different argument.

You have it backwards.
If the government didn't tax people to the breaking point, people wouldn't be poor and need to have their wages increased.
After working tax I lose nearly a quarter of my monthly pay. After sales tax I lose nearly half of my monthly pay. Add in every other tax and I'm effectively making half of what (((they))) state I make.
Taxes were always the issue and always have been.

The government needs Walmart, especially in the south and mid-west. Because most those states survive off sales tax. Walmart is one of the leading creators of this profit via sales tax.
The states would not survive without Walmart at this point. While Walmart could theoretically survive no matter what scenario we pick.
Walmart is paying their employees the right amount. The taxes taken out of their paychecks nearly equals the benefits given to them. Add in the sales tax and the government is leaching these employees. Not Walmart.
