The VN.
Then Zero.
Then whatever you want.

Grand Order is shit.
The nasuverse is shit.

>Like where do I start?
By picking up something else

Release order

>Grand Order is shit
The girls are cute and frankly, that's all that matters
>The nasuverse is shit
Kara no Kyokai was nice

Read the VN

>but i don't want to read a VN
Then don't get into fate.

Fate is trash and only good thing about it is the loli service in Prisma Illya.

Or just not give a fuck, because VN's are awful and just start with Zero.

You don't. There, saved you a lot of trouble. Undeserved overrated shit.

B-but what about the Sabah??

Go find doujin of her and call it a day. The fate franchise is shit. Don't bother.

Ideally you should read the source material of everything instead of adaptations. But even if you don't I'd say the order should be:
>Fate/Stay Night
>Fate/Zero
This covers the basic setting everything else is based on (although other works play by different rules but the basics are more or less the same). After that you can approach everything else at your own discretion.

I recommend playing next these so you get to know the Extra cast. They're a lovable bunch and their storyline is very interesting.
>Fate/Extra
>Fate/Extra CCC
>Fate/Extella

Then there is
>Fate/Apocrypha
>Fate/Strange Fake
>Fate/Kaleid liner Prisma Illya

And finally last the one that brings everyone together
>Fate/Grand Order
You can enjoy FGO without reading everything else first, but you won't understand why a character acts like it does without prior knowledge of them. You can leave Apocrypha, Strange Fake and Prisma Illya for later since their characters don't have a big impact in the grand scheme of things, but you should definitely play Extra since most of its cast show up very often.

This is a good guide but I have the feeling you copypasted it from Reddit

start eating shit, it's the same thing

How long would it take me to do this? Like how long did Stay Night+Zero take you? Or the whole Extra series? Not even speaking about the respective anime on top of that.

Not that user, but what does the source matter if it's a good guide?

not a big fate fan but start with zero than UBW . who the fuck wastes his time in a 50 hours game ! only people with no life read that shit

I still dont understand the op gif

It's kinda pointless if you don't know Japanese, because otherwise you'll have to deal with either bad translations, bad adaptations, or a lack of accessible works

Saber is being prepared for fun times with Caster.

I need full context

Then you become the retard that doesn't know anything and still tries talk about it.

As per Glass Reflection
Start with Fate/Stay night (2006) It's a bit aged but gives you a good context for the others.
Then try Fate/Zero as it gives a good explination to what the hell was up with F/SN
Then end triumphantly(?) with Unlimited Blade Works. The show if you're wasting time, the Movie if you just want the story.

The actual chronological order is a bit weird as Stay Night and Unlimited Blade Works are alternate versions of the same story with Zero being a prequel to both. If you want to watch the chronological order, go Zero->Stay Night->Unlimited Blade Works since I feel that UBW has a happier ending and like to end things on a high note

Watch Fate/Zero, then watch any other of the anime adaptations, then go online and complain that whatever you just watched wasn't Fate/Zero.

Don't forget to watch Carnival Phantasm without reading the VN or reading Tsukihime or any of its sequels.

>The girls are cute and frankly, that's all that matters
Cancer killing the Fate franchise.

Fate/Stay Night VN alone takes over 50hs to complete all three routes. Zero doesn't take that long since it's a short LN. You can finish it in a day or two.

FSN had a lot of adaptations so while not recommended, you could skip the VN if you really don't want to sink much time on it. Fate route is there to establish the setting and basic rules while also being the most bland and boring. UBW route has a movie made by DEEN (it's shit) and a TV series by Ufotable so if you want to pick one, watch the TV series. The third route Heaven's Feel will be adapted into three movies with the first one coming out later this year so you could wait for them I guess.

Fate/Extra has 3 Servants to play with and two paths to choose. The ending is still the same so you don't have to force yourself to play it two more times unless you want to. I don't have my Extra save anymore but it should take 20-30hs to complete each playthrough.

Fate/Extra CCC needs to be played at least 2 times. One time with the Servant you used on your Extra playthrough and then one last time with Gilgamesh or again the Servant from your Extra playthrough doing the True Route, that's 30 to 50 hours. Can be shorter if you play using the same Servant because your level and stuff is carried over to NG+ but you'd miss using Gilgamesh.

Fate/Extella has fourth routes. Each one isn't very long but all of them need to be played to unlock the real ending so you're looking at another 30hs at least. Due to musou gameplay the non-story parts drag on quite a bit.

>Watch zero
>Play VN
>Hate all the adaptations and have powerlevel wank threads

youtube.com/watch?v=rAx8f-VGzCw

Why is Assassin so fucking handsome?

>Release order

So he should watch the DEEN anime first?

Caster caught Saber and is trying to make her her servant.

Series later show's that Caster is indeed a huger Saberfag.

He just is.

Fate/Zero is the only good entry in the franchise

Just watch Prisma Illya

It's all shit. Just don't.

masturbating to Saber

Just ignore the non-eroge games and pretend they don't exist.

...

fate/ kaleid

youtube.com/watch?v=LA9tZXR9mWA

I thought Kaleid was pretty shit and dropped it like 3 or 4 episodes in. Does the brown Ilya fix it?

where can I get the VN?

Google.com______________________

The VN is shit. Don't do it. All of Fate is shit.

Kys

For not liking shit?

>how do i get into fate

By checking these digits.

Saber is my wifakungfu or however you say that, that is all. Now if you'll excuse me.

Don't bother with the anime itself, read the manga and watch the OVAs for the loli fanservice

What I want is someone to compose digests (covering all media in the fate franchise) that cover all the sexy times and break it down by character so that I can pick a character, catch up on all their sexy moments without having to wade through hours of extraneous details, and get to efficient fapping.

I don't think Fate is what you think it is.

Is it bad that after going through F/SN VN, F/A, F/Z, and Prisma, I still feel that F/SN was the worst and a massive waste of time?

It was bad from a battle royale perspective, and bad from a 2D4U/philosophy perspective. Most of it was poorly done high school life/cooking scenes, and tried to somehow draw you in with 5/10 girls and long exposition.

Always the VN. Why don't people ever fucking pick up the VN first and foremost? I don't care if they made an anime off of it READ THE VN FIRST.

Because the VN is shit. Not as shit as the anime, but still super shit.

The VN is literally
Exposition + 5/10 girls + standard shonen philosophy that people will somehow claim is 2D4U
Of all the Fate series, it comparatively has almost 0 focus on historical figures, which is half the fun of the series. 50 hours of my life I guess I'm never getting back.

Seriously, don't. Unless you have enough autism for the lore shit now 10x worse courtesy of FGO.

You must read these first to fully appreciate the characters.

>Vagabond
>not Musashi
>Disney's Hercules
>not the Twelve Labors
>Le Morte d'Arthur
>not History of the Kings of Britain
>translated works
>not learning Ancient Greek, Babylonian, Old English, Irish, and Japanese
Filthy secondary detected

Read the VN, avoid any and all Fate threads.

Not at all

>Then whatever you want.
You meant UBW.

Start and end at Zero.

No, then you become the person who annoys autistic betas that think their knowledge of shitty porn makes them superior to literally anyone.

Carnival Phantasm

Zero is really good

Unlike most fatefags, i liked FSN mostly for Shirou

Apparently, Ataraxia doesn't exist.

Tsukihime anime of course.

start from just don't watch that shit
