No, Koe no katachi could have been much better than your rope, but kyoani fucked it up with their cutesy bullshit, totally fucking the dark tone of the manga. The manga is much more like a pun pun really erie and dark yet subtle, kyoani tried to turn made it baby lotion soft, very disappointing.
