Call your representative, they poisoned pill the bill

>those two haven't been gunned down yet

Schumer even has a CCW, he carries a 9mm

OH SHIT.

Just how do they plan on "expanding the database"? Are they going to use data collected from NSA surveillance or something?

Are they changing what will get you added to the noguns list, or just increasing the number of mandatory reporters? Keeping psychos and felons away from guns isn't a bad thing, as long as they don't start adding everyone who takes aderal or antidepressants to the no go.

Read the bill on it's entirety.
Having democrats putting their ideas onto it is already a bad sign.

RECIPROCITY* BILL

That's exactly what they will do.
>anyone that has ever seen a psychologist
>anyone that has ever taken an SSRI/antidepressant
>anyone with a childhood diagnoses like Adhd/depression
All will be added to the denial list on NICS. I myself would be on it due to being diagnosed with depression at age 19 and taking antidepressants for a few months.

Remember how democrats made it so people like the Texas church shooter wasn't reported to NICS despite multiple disqualifying offenses?

This would amend that.

What am I missing? That's some weak ass poison.

congress.gov/115/bills/hr4477/BILLS-115hr4477ih.xml

> Requires federal agencies to report anyone who is supposed to be in the NICS database
> Adds funding for BJS study on bumpstocks (boy they gave up on that ban quick, didn't they)
> Tries to bribe state and local police to actual send a copy of their paperwork to the FBI (which they still won't do)

You have a link? That's fucking ridiculous if true.

>post bait thread
>Gets deleted in under 2 minutes

>explicitly incite political assassination
>silence

Glad to see the mods got their priorities straight

But, hey, it's not like some right wing gun nut has ever gone and shot a democrat in the head, right?

It's not a bait.

Remember if you are going to shoot any congresswomen, remember to kill their police escort, too
They're equally guilty

>newfag doesn't know one of the original Sup Forums liability statements that states that everything written on the site should be regarded as fiction

Or shot up a baseball practice. Cherry picking faggot

read his post again for comprehension

Posts are actually owned by the poster, whose IP is registered by the post. If the FBI asks Hiro for your post's IP based on terrorism etc. he is legally required to give it up.

Scalise didn't deserved that

They are trying to readd the law that trump killed that adds people who needed someone else to manage their finances onto the denied list

The problem is that the NSA, CIA, and others know everything about everyone, which occasionally includes things about people that said persons themselves don't know. The NSA and CIA could just make up an involuntary committal to a mental hospital for anyone they don't like. The bill at least says they have to report correct information, but until that gets cleared up, which might be impossible, and the bill doesn't give you a recourse for when inaccurate information is added, you're still fucked.

But even if there was a recourse for bad reporting, that doesn't matter anyway because as far as I know failing a background check when trying to buy a gun is a crime in and of itself, right? There needs to be a way to checking yourself in advance of a gun purchase.

It doesn't add any more prohibited categories.

Yeah like the time that fictitious congresswoman got shot in the head with a fictitious 9mm
Or that time that fictitious PT president got shot in the head with a fictitious rifle from a fictitious Axis country
Or that time a fictitious building in a fictitious state got fictitiously destroyed by a fictitious progun autist killing 168 fictitious people including 6 fictitious children

All fiction

Dangerous line to walk for the dems. Treatment for mental health and normalization is a BIG point for liberals. They seriously risk losing support if they make it seem like they are mriginilzing people with mental health issues.

Good thing his post is 100% unsourced horseshit then.

I posted the source on the OP.
I want a national reciprocity so you can defend your family no matter what State you're in.

>twitter.com/justinamash/status/937030839912845313

Should be illegal to host terrorist propaganda
Only reason it's legal is facebook is pure evil and US govt is completely morally bankrupt since Bush won

Can they not avoid that by arguably unintentionally having terrible records retention. I'm talking like IP addresses/posts only maintained for 24/48 hours. Can't give up something you don't have. Same reason why I wonder why people who know they are doing sketchy shit don't just set their email retention to something ridiculously short as well. If you delete it after getting indicted its obstruction, but if all emails are deleted after a week by policy they can't really argue that.

>implying stating someone hasn't been killed is a terroristic threat
retard. And no, unless a direct threat is made with a specific name mentioned the clause is still in effect. Everything written on here is fiction

No, you posted Cornyn's bill, which isn't even the Fix-NICS bill being mentioned in Massie's twitter, but whatever, it's a confusing situation.

The text of Feinstein's bill is at and a ctrl-f finds zero hits for medical or psych clauses, so where are you getting that anyone who visited a psychologist is about to magically lose their rights?

Why are you people changing the subject?
I posted on the OP about the fact that dems want to change the National Reciprocity Bill to something else.

How are you this retarded? And were those people threatened directly on Sup Forums? No? Then it doesn't pertain to anything I said at all.

Schumer and Feinstein want to add you to some kind of bill that will fuck gun owners over, as you can see in the OP.

>Everything written on here is fiction
Yeah
Donald Trump's presidency is just a running joke, hes not actually president
and those numerous mass shootings immediately preceded by a post on Sup Forums are TOTALLY just jokes the FBI is in on, they never actually happened
do you think it's easier to get a president elected than it is to take a gun and shoot a few defenceless people?

what world do you live in?

Eventually they'll just hit up the backbone providers and compare timestamps. Ditto for ISPs. We were forced to keep records for a certain length of time, but we would wait for a subpoena before handing them over. We got those surprisingly often from the Feds.

Saying "You guys are cool don't go to the mall tommorow" constitutes a direct threat of violence

Complementing people then telling them not to patronize an establishment is a direct threat

This is something shills often do. Say some aggressively stupid bait that IS NOT WORTH ARGUING OVER and then yell even more stupid bait at anyone who responds.

THIS IS AN ANONYMOUS WEBSITE, YOU WON'T GAIN ANY REPUTATION BY TRYING TO BTFO A BAITPOSTING SHILL.

It's a blatant lie. The military has a long and honored tradition of failing to report domestic violence to NICS. This has been public knowledge for years.

Even though i don't like dems, i like liars even less.

> inb4 all dems are liars hurrrrrr

We're not in middle school. Grow the fuck up.

Much obliged.
I wanted to debate the bill, not anything else.

Fuck off, Boomer

>A bill being discussed on the senate floor with words
is a different subject than
>A bill being discussed on the capitol steps with a 9mm

I fucking hate you people so much.
In my country if you pulled this shit you'd have a regiment of soldiers marching through your town in 48 hours.

>The military has a long and honored tradition of failing to report domestic violence to NICS.
But why though? Just a preference to handle it internally?

boomers are the ones who shoot politicians, retard

>Keeping psychos and felons away from guns isn't a bad thing, as long as they don't start adding everyone who takes aderal or antidepressants to the no go.

but its not that simple, the wording would be something like "people not in control of their affairs" which can also mean people using power of attorney or those in hospitals, in other words if you are too busy doing something to be able to manage your house (i.e. you have someone managing your property because you are going through cancer treatment in a hospital or occupied in another country taking care of family members or some deployed individuals in the military) you may be ineligible to posses firearms based solely on wording

You're grasping so hard for shit that isn't there.
>The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact
One of the first statements Moot made on the global rules of Sup Forums more than a decade ago

Probably. Dont want to make a fuss. Don't want to smear vets and make life harder for them. Don't want to take their right to armed bears. Couldn't tell you the why. Only that it's more common than it should be.

Bullshit

It's true.
Heard it from a cop in Jew York.

Okay, I just checked, you won't get prosecuted for failing a background check unless you're a felon and a felony conviction is really hard to invent. There is also an NICS appeal system the FBI has but I have no idea if its any good or if it doesn't actually fix anything like made up CIA disinfo.

Then you just have to worry about going to states with retarded carry laws to begin with

>signs have force of law, especially if not required to be a uniform sign
great so every big box and chain store that puts a little gun crossed out next to the crossed out dog and cigarette on their door mainly just to cover their ass for liability becomes a gun free zone
>guns not allowed in movie theatres
You mean like the #1 place I go regularly that I feel like I need to carry? Yes that's right NEED.
>duty to inform
Making every traffic stop a fun game of "how much of a jumpy rookie is this guy" when there was no other reason for the gun to enter the situation. If someone is going to try to use it, they're not going to tell the cop first just because you made a law that says you have to tell them you have a gun.
>banned from any public transportation
Debatable due to possible confrontations being escalated by the presence of a gun, but generally unfair to anyone who takes public transit and discourages CC permit holders from using.

CC permits will be allowed nationwide, it doesn't matter where you are.

Started long before either Bush. Moron.

Because the military doesn't allow people with domestic violence convictions to join so they're not really supposed to have people in it who commit domestic violence so they have to bury it when someone already in the military does it so they don't look bad.

I'm referring to the fact that even if your permit is accepted in every state, some states still have draconian restrictions on where and how you can carry.

National Reciprocity means you can carry anywhere.

>Hey, we need you to vote on the "Cure all illnesses forever" bill
>sure I'll vote yes on that!
>Great! we also added the staple your testicles to a wall bill to that so you can only vote yes for both or no for both, still want to vote yes?

"""""""""""""""""""""democracy"""""""""""""""""""""""

No it doesnt. States will still have the right to Ban cc in government buildings, as well as pass laws that allow private businesses to ban concealed carry on their property

Also there's DD Form 2760 (esd.whs.mil/Portals/54/Documents/DD/forms/dd/dd2760.pdf) that you have to fill out periodically. It's basically a one question version of the firearms purchase form.

Pretty sure if you have to check yes you become non-deployable and/or likely have to get chaptered out. Both of which hurt numbers, so there's an incentive to avoid actually getting a soldier charged with domestic violence.

>>banned from any public transportation
Damn, what state has that?

Please do not walk into your local elementary, post office, or federal building once this law passes. Pretty please with sugar on top.

That is not at all what national reciprocity means.

Reciprocity means that another state accepts the concealed carry permit you have from your home state. You are still subject to all restrictions that state has put in place on holders of concealed carry permits.

>in government buildings, as well as pass laws that allow private businesses to ban
Seriously, how come is this worst than it was before?

unfortunately, only leftists do the political assassination thing here in the states.

>Reciprocity means that another state accepts the concealed carry permit you have from your home state
Is it bad?
That you can save people from something that happens ?

Not in my state. 30.06/30.07 signs have been there as long as CHLs, and a private business/home owner has always been able to ask you to leave for damn near any reason.

two of those three perps were apolitical loonies. only based McVeigh was on the right side. (though I disagree with his target selection.)

Call your local government/representative, if this shit was about me I would solve your problem in a second

Up until 2008 Georgia did not allow guns on public transportation. And we have bro tier carry laws, so I assume at least a few blue states ban it (I know when I was in D.C. the city bans carrying on the metro)

Here's a video that sums this shit up even better.

youtube.com/watch?v=Cyl4IGGsqVQ

These fucking kikes will stop at nothing and they want every white dead. Instead of bitching in our echo chambers we should be sending their children to them in bags.

>Keeping psychos and felons away from guns isn't a bad thing,
they'll just redefine "psychos" to be anyone whos seen a psychiatrist or had a prescription for any sort of psych med (anti depressant, adderall, wahtever else)

don't fall for the fucking tricks.

letting any random doctor put you on noguns list is not a good idea. due process is good.

It's not bad I'm saying that there will still be residual issues. I travel a lot and sometimes have to educate myself on 4 different state's unique carry laws for one trip since I'll be driving through them. Basically have to treat the state lines as phase lines and the ROE changes every time you cross one.

Example: Georgia no duty to inform, South Carolina duty to inform only if the gun is not in a container in your vehicle, North Carolina if you have a gun in the vehicle at all you have to inform immediately when they start talking to you.

Idiot.
If it doesn't add anymore prohibited categories then what is it doing? Theyre just adding some vague wording so they can modify the law to their will in the future so they leave themselves a door and add those prohibited categories in the future maybe. You are all so stupid you just see and talk about the short term like they will stop with that approval, its like you've all learned nothing or are all newguns faggots these bitches play the long game. If it doesn't do anything then it shouldn't be added.

Pretty much this, we already have too many reasons to strip people of their basic rights, I don't like the thought of giving democrats the chance to make up more reasons to deny you them.

So what do I tell my rep to do? Avoid the bill?

Sorry bud. I fully support private business owners deciding who can carry on their premises, just like I expect to be able to not eat there if they post their sign.

You fucking retard pri property is still provate property, national reciprocity doesnt mean you can start carrying in the bank at the airport or any restaurant or store that doesn't allow it. Fucking idiot.

>businesses to ban concealed carry on their property

so open carry is still permitted then yes?

You would look like a creepy nerd doing so.

Calm down you freak.

I'd imagine it depends on the business, here in Austin most restaurants disallow OC but don't care about CC. Starbucks never gave a damn about either until autists validated Moms Demand Nonsense.

Or get a non resident permit so Andy Cuomo has to eat a dick because he's a total fucking faggot nigger anti-gun criminal. But nobody ever gets charged with conspiracy against rights so he gets away with it.

I'm confused. I've read 4477 and all it does is expedite record submission for existing disqualifications, extent them to Natives, and force a review of bump stocks.

>some people joke on this website
>that means everyone on here is a liar
Wew

Not sure if you're from the states, but no, there isn't one instance of political intent from a would-be right wing assassin in a targeted attempt on a politician's life. Every politically motivated assassination attempt has been at the hands of Communists here in the States. JFK for instance was targeted by LHO who was a militant Communist. The baseball bois were targeted by a Commie-lite BSV.

>who was Lincoln

>set their email retention to something ridiculously short
Most industries have regulations that need to be followed in one way or another for legal purposes or else heavy fines are placed on the entity.

>Actually reading the bill
>Not overreacting and assuming this will invariably lead to the gov't slapping a made up felony conviction on the entirety of the US so they can begin mass confiscation

You better believe me when I tell you I got a 14 foot dick and I spend all day watching my harem jerk me off.

Shoo, shoo share blue

A republican killed by a southern democrat supporter.

Can not into history can you

>Hey guys did you know north korea is a democratic republic? Says so right in their name!
Idiot. Don't talk to me.

Welp, retard spotted. That guy you're replying to is correct.

Discussion about gun control does NOT belong here. Read the sticky.

Because,

The army cannot take judicial action against you if the state does. It is considered double jeopardy.

Soldiers going through legal action are huuuuge drains on manpower, they're always gone, need to be escorted, cannot have coc in the courthouse for certain occasions, gets messy.
Soldier going through army legal though you as a chain of command have much more control over, and insight to how proceedings are going.

And depending on who the defendant is, coc weighs in heavily for the court decision. Your commander can say "He's a good guy let him off " and it'll carry much more weight than in civie court, alternatively, cdr can say "he's a pos-i recommend full sentence"and fuck the guy.

Yes he is correct that Lincoln was a Republican and booth was a Democrat 150 years ago when the parties were completely different entities. John wilkes was not a sjw leftist commie and you are a retard if you think otherwise.

>a 9mm
Shill confirmed

That's not illegal on private property, however the owners maintain the right to ask you to leave and you must comply before it becomes trespassing

How about fuck you.

>unless state law specifically mandates those signs are legally binding*

>>Implying that republicans want slaves and aren't just status-quo religious idiots and that democrats haven't just turned to ways of welfare and drug laws to keep blacks in poverty and dependent on them so they can stay in power.

"Social safety net" do more than catch, they entangle. Dems are the same fucking party they were 150 years ago, elitist classist fucks who have just changed their tactics from outright enslavement to bureaucratic restrictions and soft sale of communism to control people.
