It's not like there's no sense of danger of the show, it's cartoonish, but not an "anything can happen" really, so you're wrong.
Also, using them for bait would have been fine, but entrapping them and actually wanting them to be killed was over the line of my tolerance.

She really wouldn't have died or even got injured for more than a scene.
This show is very cartoony as is most of Trigger's work so don't expect characters to suffer, physically that is.

Are you joking? They won't die because, yes, it is a children's show, but the THREAT of it is there. That's why there's any tension at all. There's tension in the show, there's consequences, and I guarantee you that more will be on the line by the climax.
