>Establish that only X can do a certain thing >BUT SO CAN PROTAGONIST! I'm looking at you Infinite Stratoss.
Leo Cox
>I know he's a bad guy but I want to save him! >A girl!? Time to save her, cause she's a girl. WAIT THERE'S TWO GIRLS? I THOUGHT ONLY ONE GIRL COULD EXIST >I'm going to save this guy for no reason at all even though it doesn't concern me. >Time to endanger my life to save the guy who just tried to kill me. Twice. >Almost got myself killed trying to save some stranger today :^) >I just met you and I'm going to save you. >I know "that" will kill me because it's the 3rd time I used it, but I'm going to use it anyway. >I just met you and now I'm going to save your ass. >Dear Savory, saved someone that didn't want to be saved. >Still trying to save my sword spirit demon who's trying to turn me into a statue. >My sword spirit thing just tried to kill my best friend. Who the fuck does that?
Jace Brown
Fuck you Ushio and Tora is great.
Parker Ross
>h-hayai!
Luke Morris
>moeshit >unnecessarily long dialogues that actually lead to nowhere.
Jonathan White
all of the things you mentioned plus -CGI characters/monsters (vehicles/backgrounds are ok) -isekai -boring color palette
Cameron Bailey
-MC is an ordinary high schooler when it ends up he has a super special power that he discovers when a mysterious girl shows up
Camden Thompson
-MC attends a highschool for students with superpowers! Even though his ranking is the lowest and nobody appreciated him he's the strongest there is. His love interest loses to him against the odds in the first episode and falls for him.

>Thrown into girls locker room, wounded pile on the ground now. Girls yell pervert and start beating him. >Protagonist is accused of something that isn't his fault, is to beta to speak up and just takes it. >Going to highschool. Woah there are girls, Protagonist is awed by their mere existence. Nothing of note happens. >Big humanoid Robots never use their legs and just float or rollerskate all the time. >"Protagonist" has no drive to do anything on his own accord. >Mysterious stranger that will obviously turn out to be good has to be fought because he is to cool and mysterious to speak more than "you don't understand" >I'm going to use thing! Is he really using thing? But he can't possibly use thing! He knows he must use thing because! Fool, you are to puny to use thing! For half an episode or more. >"deep" conflict about philosophies. Conflict parties state their point the most bare bones way possible. No arguments ever. >The wind has blown up my skirt that barely covers my butt. Clearly you are of the most deplorable character, guy that was just standing there 10 meters away.
Grayson Brown
>bad art >bad animation >bad character designs >heavy CG usage
Michael Howard
how is this Sup Forums? we're talking about anime.
Lincoln Reyes
Totally forgot the visual side.
>zoomed in to closeup of not even the full head for half the run time.
Austin Young
Judging books by the cover is the best way to filter out bad anime in my experience.
Easton Wright
Basically all of these are very trivial things, you're being retarded by screening them all out.
Carson Rogers
the same exact shit taste
Camden Nelson
>Battle harems >Kirarashit CGDCT
How many times can they make the same show?
Wyatt James
It's a good way to filter out a lot of good anime as collateral, though.
Jordan Cox
I can't think of a single good anime that looks like shit
Austin King
what?
Owen Young
Oh right, this too. Also bland MCs with no real personalities besides "i want to save everyone!"
Gabriel White
Speaking of which, im tired of anime like Oreigaru that tries to present the "MC and many girls" thing in a realistic (guys, he wont get them so its okay ;) they just are deeply into him) way just to please fanbase of losers.
A true story of a loner wouldnt have that much female interaction just for starters.

I don't pick up things like are pure action or drama unless Sup Forums really raves about how good it is. Or mecha or ''music'', or fujoshi stuff. I'll pick all comedies even if they are any of those though.
I will give anything except melodrama and fujoshittest of fujoshit a go though
Adrian Davis
i see OP is being a faggot as usual
Colton Anderson
does no "music" and the light fujo vibe preclude you from enjoying kids on the slope user?
Lincoln Jones
Of course you can't, because you skipped them for having shit art.
Don't get me wrong, I think you are right. Ping Pong is the only great anime with shit artstyle I can think of.
Charles Kelly
Ping Pong has a good art style, so your point is void. Good art is straight up required for good anime.
Owen Sanders
I think you're confusing artstyle with general art. The animation, backgrounds and general flow are sublime, but the drawings are ugly and the characters are plain as fuck. Of course, this adds to the appeal of the series since everything fits perfectly.
We are talking about "judging by the cover", though, so none of this matters. Don't tell me that you didn't think the artstyle looked like shit when you saw screenshots on Sup Forums. Ping Pong looks like shit when it's not being animated.
Oliver Lopez
I watched it BECAUSE it looked the way it did.
Brayden Myers
Then we can agree that the artstyle looks fugly but you liked the way it looked different, right?
David Collins
No, I think the artstyle looks excellent, I thought I made that clear. Nothing about Ping Pong is ugly.
Nolan Mitchell
>Your turn to rage
Joseph Foster
Alright.
Chase Sullivan
>Only girls show >Nothing happens the show >CG >Couples in a shounen
Jace Nelson
Moeshitters get defensive when people don't like watching nothing happening the anime
Lincoln Scott
as opposed to moehaters who get whiny, entitled, and disruptive when they're not pandered to
