Neptunia IS memes, some of them pretty obscure. Putting Sup Forums memes into it made it much better. Also, a lot of the dub lines were a lot better sounding than the ones in the subs.

The only problem the dub has is that the early episodes are a little more subdued, probably because the writers and VA's were still finding their footing, and that the later episodes were a little to reliant on using swear-words as a substitute for jokes.

Costs more.
Good VG VAs are in the same league as the VAs that do cartoons which means they're unionized and you have to pay for them. This is why games that have low budgets or just don't really need any good acting cuz no one cares ("ITZ ALL ABOUT THE GAMEPLAY MAN") have shit VAs, though not always. I dunno why exactly, but the shittiest amateurs dub anime, while low budget and indie games can often find random people no one's ever heard of that are better actors than them.
