Why does it take so long? Guess I know what I'll be buying myself for Christmas
>October 30, 2017.
What the fuck
What is this 1980? A whole fuckign year for a release?
OP here, forgot to put the url
amazon.co.uk
Shinkai and Andou w weren't satisfied with the quality. You know what will happen.
>october
They're tryna dry me out
Holy shit this year's gonna be the year of your name for me
This is typical for jap movies. One recent exception is Kizumonogatari.
>Keit-ai shitposting will continue unabated for the rest of the year
It's Japan's revenge for always getting Hollywood releases a year later.
Whelp, time to watch the shitty DVD rip then. I fucking hate my cinema for not bringing this.
Kizu got the early BD releases because of the flop. They needed to recoup costs. Also the release schedule is tight for that series. Neither problem is something to worry about for Kimi No Na Wa's prod committee.
Yeah the way monogatari is going if kizu waited a year they'd lose 10k each time just by fan decay.
Your Name is still running in theaters (climbed back to no. 1) so of course the BD releases are delayed across the board.
April release dude
...
>Oct 30
Holy shit how much are they trying to milk this in theaters
Go watch it in the theaters for 12.95 goy!
>October 30, 2017
Is it being played in limited theaters or Imax full release everywhere? Because if it's limited their shouldn't be any reason for a release date so god damn far from now
FINDS A WAY
I'm expecting (hoping) it will be in wide release come Spring, but for a limited amount of time. Like how Shin Godzilla was playing at several multiplexes, but only for a few days at a time. Currently, I don't believe it is playing anywhere in the US, but be patient. There have been longer waits for more hyped up movies in the past.
Keit-ai is already a manga. Stop posting it.
...
It's still in the top 10 in Japanese theaters. What'd you fucking expect?
...
Threadly reminder that for every Keit-ai post a mod deletes, Kimi no Na wa gets an extra $100,000 on its gross profits.
