the anime is basically the equivalent of I CAN HAS Sup Forums memes am i cool yet guiz as far as kancolle is concerned.

Certain episodes are good, but overall they emphasized catchphrases/jokes of certain characters and tried to cram them into almost every other line.

And this is why the show and movie are both worthless garbage, it feels like they were both written by someone that doesn't even know what the actual content of the game was or the characters in it and were only trying to satisfy the needs of the lowest common denominator through the use of badly written porn plots and overused jokes.

The characters interactions was poor. Bucky being the main character. It was overwhelmingly average.

You get this feeling that they just inserted them because they just heard them instead of actually experiencing them, because they explicitly went against those mechanics when the plot called for it.

Oh, 6-4 is still hard, I'm just saying it was nerfed to hell multiple times so from "by far the hardest map in KanColle history" it turned to merely "a hard map".

True, I tried it before LBAS were allowed and got my ass kicked, but afterwards it felt like less of an RNG fest. I gotta admit it was a fun map, and it's always great watching LBAS take out half the fleet, event map or not.

I got the kill in my third sortie when I tried the map right after it was introduced. 36 runs and 130 buckets later the boss gauge was still at 80%. True hell. I haven't touched it since but it should go smoothly this month.

It was purely to differentiate them from slow battleships in the code, players aren't supposed to know the game's internals. Then they realized that "巡洋戦艦" isn't the right word for "modern" battleships. Kongou-class, V.V.-class and Iowa are just "戦艦" officially.
