Now hold on

Siegfried somehow assumed that his servitude to Reinhard instead of being his equal would somehow help him get Annerose

That's bullshit. He saw himself as inferior to Reinheard because he believed Reinheard was meant to rule the universe.

he's content with Reinhard ruling the universe and urges him to do so after he correctly identifies Reinhard's motives and resolve as sufficient to topple the existing world order, himself being content with Annerose's love

it has nothing to do with inferiority - Siegfried regularly humbled himself even before people who deserved none of that, it's just his unassuming personality

my problem with him is that Siegfried was too much of an enabler, whereas many characters in the show saw him as a genius on par with Reinhard, sometimes surpassing him - if only *he was there* many things could've been avoided

honestly, Siegfried spoiled Reinhard to a point where the latter is unable to function without him

>tfw yang dies

That's all correct, but that doesn't mean he serves Reiheard because that would "help him get Annerose". They make it pretty clear (in the OVAs at least) that it's his admiration for Reinhard that triggered his decision to assume his place as Reinhard's most loyal servant.

You're right about his personality being naturally humble and him being a double edged knife for Reinhard though.

damn ova kakyoin looks weird

He did something wrong. He died.

You know it to be true user

Literally did nothing wrong

But he killed thousands of people whenever he turned into Id.
