The V-2 Rocket was perhaps the finest example of the German war machine during the Second World War. A shiny, glistening edifice of raw scientific breakthrough. Like many German weapons it struck fear into the Allied hearts. Like many German weapons it tended to be rather overengineered , and after being constructed by Horse-Drawn slave labor(A majority of Heer logistics were moved by horse, showing incompetence with vehicles), one would be impressed to know that the V-2 killed more actual Germans and POWs than enemy Soldiers did. This greatly echoed a majority of German hardware, such as the absolute disaster that was the Luftwaffe, or the infallible Tiger tank that constantly blew its transmission.

Except it was. Why did the Wehrmacht win Poland in >TWO WEEKS? Maybe it had something to do with the fact it was a essentially a defenseless nation with almost zero support while two ultra-mechanized regional powers steamrolled it. The German Army continued to suffer issues maintaining Poland throughout the war, but thats beside the point.
On the other hand the United States at no point was allowed to invade North Vietnam, you know, the consequence being nuclear conflict with the Sino-Soviet Bloc. They weren't rice farmers, they were 30 years experienced revolutionaries with Sino-Soviet funding and equipment which, by the way, we arent allowed to totally pummel for the aforementioned reason. France by 1940 was considerably weaker, although their Armor was superior to the Germans it was insufficient, not to mention France did not have adequate support from the British who were dumbasses all throughout, but somehow smart enough to defeat the Luftwaffe over and over.

False, war nerves and apprehension over the Nazi Army well into the war was persistent, even the U.S. public had the unfounded belief we could've been invaded at any time. The Germans relative to other European powers were a literal unstoppable brute, but do not confuse that with actual competence against more equivalent powers, e.g USSR and U.S.

Again, false. Vietnam to many was a considered a "pointless war", and by 1968 considered our casualties, constant bad news and the state of America as a whole, it wasn't just leftist college kids who opposed the war. Major Republicans did too, and by 1970 almost every individual in America who wasn't a jewish corporate shill detested Vietnam. Nonetheless we left Vietnam with the North and South in a ceasefire, the eventual Northern capture of the South was beyond our jurisdiction, care ,and interest. I'm not saying we didn't loose, but do not oversimplify things. We lost because the human spirit was just not happy with the war, and the Chinese weren't worth the devastation if we made it worse.

Also for those who enjoy PC Wargaimg there is a fantastic series of games by a developer called Graviteam Tactics, they make battlefield simulators that are very realistic, their day job involves making a tank sim for Ukrainian armed forces, their games are based upon the same engine, so you have strategy and tactics games built around a military grade tank command simulation. The level of realism is such that noly real world tactics work, if you try to play it like a traditional RTS you will fail, so some understanding of military doctrine and tactics is helpful, and also knowledge of the hardware will help a lot.
