With the south africans, the agency they worked for agreed to "sell" their labour to AB for wayyyy less than idaho, bc, etc. And the agency they worked for told the africans they'd be making a certain amount per day, but once they were here they told them they'd be making a lot less than they were promised back home but they were already here so they had no choice but work for less or go on strike. So they went on strike.
