ITT: Discussion about the american dream and how that is projected to the rest of the world. I'll start; I've always wanted to live in america, sometimes it's gotten so heavy that it felt like opening a present that you've wanted forever. It's largely due to how american media, movies etc. portray america and how it seems to be a promised land of comfort and perfection to the modern man, woman and child (white, I mean).
My question is, is this detrimental to the rest of the world, because the rest of the world can't live in America because then it wouldn't be America anymore.
What do other non-americans think about this, I'd call it a phenomenon but it's not an unheard of idea.
Also to americans: Do you also have this idea that people see your country in this way, and what about the stereotype about americans being too patriotic, or arrogant.
Could it be that american nignogs also have the same view of america as I do, however they just see the view not as america but white americans, which might be one of the reasons they chimpout?

America is slowly eroding away its freedoms and turning itself into a corrupt war nation, and eventually a socialist state.
We need to have a new southern secession of all capitalist states (basically the deep south, Texas, perhaps some of the midwest, and perhaps Alaska,) and create a libertarian/conservative/capitalist nation that is simultaneously not afraid to go into foreign affairs to preserve liberty and capitalism and is able to properly threaten the commies in the northeastern US, Canada, and Cali.
The united states will burn but we don't have to burn with it.
Thomas Thompson
Hahahaha hahahaha
This place is a kiked out feminist mexishit and nigger dumping ground
Charles Sanders
Yeah I know, the point I'm making is that america is being advertised as this great dream-like landscape of modern society. At least it was when I was a child.
Hudson Diaz
The American Dream is fucking dead and Trump killed it. It used to be that an immigrant could come to the country and be successful, but now America hates immigrant. The American Dream now exists moreso in Canada and Germany.
Kevin Ortiz
It doesn't matter what the conditions are really like, I know that I live a very comfortable life and moving there will just be an upgrade rather than an overhaul. Point is I yearned to move there, despite my comfortable life.
Brody Johnson
the American dream is dead.
Dominic Morris
Honestly, I think if you are emigrating from your country for no reason other than 'muh opportunities' then you are pond scum. Right now, more than ever, poor countries need to get their shit together and rich countries need to stop fucking up their own shit.
Luke Watson
>Trump killed it The American dream was personal responsilbity, the capacity for reason wealth generation and home owner wrapped in the ability to pass that to your kids. Trump certainly did not kill those things. Obama tried his dsmnedest to fuck up inheretence though.
Josiah Sanders
It may very well be better than any number of nations. It does have a lot of freedoms and various other benefits.
It just won't last, man. It's too culturally diverse, and the corruption of the ambitious yet accreted government is not helping it. We will go down within the next 50 years; whether that's in a civil war, in a land invasion, due to international conflict razing the ground, or by some other massive disaster.
But America has been splitting at the seams for as long as I remember. If you come here be willing to have your elder years be a bit more stressful than you intended.
Instead, I suggest you take your nation and attempt to make it better. We need more actually worthwhile leaders in the world instead of these commies and players everywhere.
Joseph Lewis
i have us citizenship but I don't want to live in the US. my country is better. fuck immigrants
Carter Harris
I wholly changed my mind on emigrating, I never want to emigrate from my home country. This is where I, my children and grandchildren will die.
Adrian Adams
The fact is OP, America was once a great nation who through prosperity has become decadent and depraved. The first cracks happened over 50 years ago. The high water mark was the assasination of JFK. Does this mean America is finished? I don't think so, but I believe that it will be a different country moving forward and possibly something akin to what South Africa was in the past. Balkanization is a very real possibility within the timespan of 5 - 20 years. Sadly turds with views like this guy are fairly common. They're like the parasite which kills the host.
Noah Cox
If you want to, you could move to Dixie. If things go south (hue) then Dixie will almost certainly stand united against whatever it may be. I expect the division of the country to occur again but this time the south will be sticking around - and it would definitely be safer for you than the north (everyone here is armed after all.)
Come to North Georgia and I'd meet up to show you around, it's pretty comfy in the mountains. If you stick in South Africa then I completely understand.
Hunter Bailey
It seems like an endless cycle, doesn't it? I'm sure you've seen that image of the 'hard times make hard men, hard men make good times, good times make weak men, weak men make hard times' thing? Is this just the inevitability of prosperity? If so is it a bad thing because just like empires fall new ones rise.
Jonathan Rivera
Well I do want to see some parts of the world, at least. America, and the south, is a definite destination.
Joseph Jenkins
It's definitely worth your time especially if just for a visit, lots of pretty places and nice people.
Nicholas Myers
It certainly is a life cycle, and it seems the timespan for birth and rebirth is almost that of a human life, i.e. 80 - 100 years. Paradigms change all the time. The only concern I have now is that at least the empire of Rome was salvageable with the fiefdoms and principalities set throughout the Holy Roman Empire. Will we be able to come through the other side again this time? Maybe, and from the looks of things, Eastern Europe seems to have had the torch of Western civilization handed to them.

>tfw you will never be an American >tfw the Brits won the war of 1812
It's not fair
Levi Peterson
Honestly I feel the same. I always imagined having a house in the mostly white suburbs, a wife and two kids, but that shit's just in the movies nowadays.
Sebastian Campbell
America is already falling. Slowly but surely. California is the best example, it's so full of mexicans it's not america anymore, these people don't have the same values our country was based on. There is no better place to live on earth than white suburbs though, especially conservative ones and military towns (almost everyone is great in military towns)
Christopher Clark
it's still real in some states.
Ryan Rivera
you're a dumb fuck. Texas is a Mexican state already. Just watch the next election.
Joshua Turner
Unfortunately not for long by the look of things
Ayden Murphy
I'll try to remember that, a lot of what I mean when I say american dream and idyllic lifestyles, I mean mid-west and southern types of towns. Not those liberal cunts in the north and coasts.
Well, we'll see what happens. Who knows, south africa superpower by 2040. If whites got hold of a lot of southern africa and kicked as many kaffers out as we can, that doesn't seem like such a fantasy.
Anthony Smith
My friend, the entire premise of America was for White people to start a new life in the New World. Of course you're welcome here, it will always be America if the values are given to the newcomers and if they have a similar culture
Christopher Edwards
Yeah, you get what I mean. It's a bad case of envy. I get that it's just in the movies but they still managed to sell it quite well.
We have some very nice white suburbs with rich whites and it's absolutely lovely there. Of course they all look like a military base with patrolling armed men, barbed and electric fences, boom gates etc. But when you're white and living in a country with an 80% black population what else can you do.
Jaxson Miller
Texas was always its own thing, but I have nothing wrong with Mexicans. The Mexican government and the cartels are what's wrong with Mexico and what has been causing so many of their issues.
Full disclosure, both of my best friends in high school were Chicano and my girlfriend (who I plan on proposing to) is a native-born Mexican.
We just need to fix Mexico. There is a lot of untapped potential there.
Adam Barnes
i feel the same, i went around a load of states and only didn't like California as it was sprawling and depressing really antisocial witht the worst combination of no socialism like healthcare but odd rules like smoking and complete lack of community versus rural communities which had the same your'e on your own ethos but also community and freedom and beauty.
Caleb Thompson
I appreciate that, but I think the idea of 'america is a new better europe for europeans' is kind of gone. America became a country for 'americans' not 'white people looking for a new place to live' and that's fine. I don't think america should be a country that's flooded by anyone, not even whites.
Aiden Sullivan
As a kid growing up in America I felt the American dream too, I felt so lucky to be an American and proud too, growing up on military bases, it was a bit surreal. I lived in turkey, and the turks would touch me just because I was an American and an embodiment of 'the dream' It indoctrinates the young, and now that I'm an adult I'm not so sure what there is to be proud of.
Camden Brooks
That is our problem we NEED to be flooded by someone, that is how our country is set up, we're being flooded by Spics
Thomas Jones
This isn't the America of my forebears. Merely a vestige of its former self. Our nation and its once proud culture (yes we had one) has been sold out and replaced with commercialism and materialism. That being said, we would welcome with open arms a mass exodus of SA Boer. Please come.
Bentley Howard
Mass Immigration killed the American dream when Mexicans came en masse and drove the ability to make a decent wage into the ground by accepting sub standard wages and working conditions thus forcing the rest of the populace to follow suit or starve. This was deliberately allowed by those with money and power to negate the status quo and line their own pockets long before Donald Trump.
Mexicans wouldn't have allowed this in Mexico. Just ask any Guatemalan how they're treated as guest workers in Mexico.
Asher Parker
You faggots have a cartoon understanding of history. 40% of Italy's population was slaves by the late Republic, not counting the substantial Greek and Gallic populations in the south and north, respectively. Demographics will balance out since nonwhites are attracted to cities, where birthrates are invariably below replacement rate. As long as the countryside remains majority white, things will return to equilibrium. The only thing that needs to happen is for the elite to be purged, opening up new opportunities for advancement and reducing intra-societal competition which weakens social cohesion.
Ryan Green
It's still very real. For however long, we don't know. The problem most people who don't live here fail to realize is that America is a big fucking place. Our ((((media)))) only focuses on what suits their narrative, or only showcase liberal cess pool cities that are past the point of no return. All those rural retards that voted for Trump? Well, there's a lot of them, and typically they are white families, living amongst other white families, in small towns and communities that uphold traditional morals and values and want nothing more to continue life as they've always have. Only a fool would think America doesn't have its problems. Only a fool would also believe all the memes and generalizations as a true reflection of current life in the states.
Ethan Ortiz
I'm not talking about history at all. I'm talking about how things were recently.
Leo Brooks
>American Dream It's been dead for well over a decade. If you want to partake go make a time machine Most of the country lives paycheck to paycheck and private debt has ballooned to unsustainable levels
Henry Gutierrez
I'm not talking about you, but retards like and

I see someone has been paying attention in (((history))) class.

>Also to americans: Do you also have this idea that people see your country in this way, and what about the stereotype about americans being too patriotic, or arrogant.
As an American, I don't give a fuck what pathetic, weak, self-loathing cunts think about me. America is the wealthiest, freest, greatest civilization to ever grace this world with its presence.
