So why do you degenerate fucks like this show anyway?

so why do you degenerate fucks like this show anyway?
I watched the first ep and I have no interest in continuing

Depends on if you are talking about first episode by chronological or production order.

No, it doesn't. Either way you are a faggot

It's a meme bro, noone likes that shitty garbage.

The first episode is very different from the rest of the show. Watch at least episode 2 too, because episode 1 is nothing like the rest.

2/10 thats the best i can do

>Only watching Haruhi now
You new to anime, OP?

Shut the fuck up newfag

3 episode rule faggot

Gee I dunno maybe watch a couple more episodes

It's one of the things I finished and felt nothing. Even Tomino, the king of emotionally barren, left a more lasting impact on me.

>Tomino
>the king of emotionally barren
Wrong. Tomino knows how to impact the viewer.
Zeta Gundam has one of the most soul-crushing endings ever.

Holy fuck newfags have zero attention span anymore. Eat shit and die.

The first episode is pretty shitty.

It's one of the most overrated animes of all time.

your dick is overrated

This you fucking piece of shit.

>animes
Spotted the newfag

not really, the movie justifies the whole show

Haruhi is the pleb filter. Only people with ADHD dislike it.

Some people cant be bothered to watch every shit anime that exists

I don't get it either. It's otaku pandering trash that popularized the whole moeshit meme.

>>I have no interest in continuing
talking bout no interest should i continue Hell sing ultimate

You're right. It's shit. You shouldn't even bother with the following episodes not making threads about it.

I got back into it two years after dropping it, didn't regret it

Should I watch this in phantasmagorical or bacteriological order?

It's just mindless fun with nice animation and music, if you're into that then go for it.

I LOVE HARUHI SO MUCH IT HURTS!!! HELP ME Sup Forums!!!!

Helping you? How? You want me to teach you pachinko or something?

You'll get used to it

watch it in periodic order

Quick question - is LN's worth the time? Never had anything to do with Haruhi up until now, so what should i do?

Time will help. It won't go away, but it will become more manageable.

Watch S1. Watch S2. Watch the movie (the best part of the anime). If you want more, read the LNs.

Could land a fucking airplane between them eyes.

EIGHT
FUCKING
WEEKS

>Anime characters have big eyes
You don't say

It was the uguu digital anime period. Kyoani had yet to stop the bug eyes.

I don't think you got what I said. I am not commenting on the size of her eyes. I am saying that they're really fucking far apart.

Yeah but they fixed it, you can see it between and

The thing is the artstyle is a bit inconsistent. Sometimes it'll be fine in S1 or S2, and other times you'll find a Clannad or literally K-on! face.
Good thing the movie is perfect.

Holy shit, you couldn't be more wrong. Haruhi is responsible for the moe boom that has been the gateway for tens of thousands of plebs to anime fandom.

the correct way to watch it is in broadcast order except that when you get to endless eight you repeat the first seven episodes 2200 times

Haruhi's eyes are drawn way too far apart. This show is shit solely because of it.

>moe
Nice buzzword. The only moe character is Mikuru and she doesn't get any screentime. And even if it were the case it still wouldn't prove me wrong.

nagato is rei-type moe character

Wouldn't Eva be the inventor of moeshit then? Not that it'd be a valid argument anyway

it is uncontroversial that eva revolutionized thinking about moe

>Nagato
>Moe
>Fucking Rei
>Moe
The fuck i'm reading

T H I C C

Dumb smugposter.

I'll let you know ive watched 6 episodes of hyouka so far and i sleept through each one of them, not to talk about the stupid "mysteries" and i did not give up yet. And here you say you cant watch 2 episodes of haruhi.

I watched it when it was the hot meme show, and couldn't really get further than two or three episodes. Haruhi as a character is fucking annoying and the show isn't really entertaining. Maybe it gets better later but if a show can't interest me in the first two or three episodes it has lost me.

Either the quality spikes incredibly after the point I dropped it, or the meme ED is the only reason it's popular.

When I first watched Haruhi i hated her

I recently revisited it and now I absolutely adore her, how can such a wonderful character exist?

moeshit precedes eva by well over a decade, but eva is the series that pushed waifu bullshit to the extreme levels we are witnessing today

I'm willing to believe you, but why eva? Neither Rei nor Asuka are good waifus. You get to choose between a flat kuu and a shitty tsun with relatively little dere to either of them. As characters they're bad, as archetypes they're only slightly better. Misato is best girl and even she is pretty bad. That's mostly because she's the most well-rounded character that's harder to shove into an archetype pigeonhole.

It's shit, the show is for waifufags.

It's good. But there's no clear direction of where the show's going at the beginning I guess.

No. When you get to endless seven, you rewatch the whole series from the beginning to the first episode in endless seven, then the again from the beginning to the second episode of endless seven, et cetera until you've reached the last. Then you do it all 7 more times and you're done. Now you can watch the rest of Haruhi.

Same here, I hated her when I first watched this in highschool, two years later I waifud her

You're a tsundere for your waifu?

It feels appropriate

Watch it in broadcast order. It's boring shit otherwise

Acquire taste and get good.

Now that I think about it, I don't remember any anime pair where both guy and girl are tsundere.

>taste
>haruhi suzumiya

Me too desu

>says this while posting literally poor man's Haruhi

Hyouka is a sad case of amazing animation and coloring being wasted on a extremely mediocre show.

>Living only on Haruharu and water
can confirm the benefits of this

>thinks haruhi "grand canyon between her eyes" suzumiya can even compete in the same league

>unironically enjoys vampireboi posing in front of .ppt backgrounds

>unironically dislikes a DFC loli goddess

>is a pedophile

>first ep
come at me when you watch the same show 8 times with little to no variation

>is a normalfag

>will never reproduce

>Comparing shitty vampire Loli with the queen of waifus, Haruhi

She's a fine wine user, not for everyone. Takes a mature, developed taste.

This was the gayest anime I ever saw.
It gave me diarrhea and made me allergic to eggs, the only thing in life i ever loved.
What do I do now that I can't have eggs? And don't say "try the falafel" because there is no comparison and you know it.
Fuck Haruhi, this shitshow ruined my life.

I read that as "queen of walrus", which would have actually been more accurate.

If by soul-crushing you mean seeing such a bad ending for such a great show I totally agree with you. The ending was god awful.

>People still falling for Hurumeme Shittymiya
It's only redeeming quality was the slightly entertaining movie it spawned.

>I-I'll just call it a meme

Kill yourself

That's mean dude wtf why would you do something like that

Well... The dubs don't lie.

FUCK OFF BACK TO POULTRY LAND, YOU FUCKING CORN COB.

I watched it ages ago with Sup Forums and to this day I have no idea why this shit is so popular. Haruhi is a complete garbage person and Kyon is an autistic faggot. Most enjoyment I got out of the franchise was a doujin where she acts like a retarded cunt but then, unfortunately unlike in the series, someone gets fed up with her bullshit and beats the shit out of her.

doujin sauce please

Can someone provide an answer as to why they like this show? I found it average, if just slightly below average because of how annoying Haruhi was as a character.

whats the chronological order anyways?

I hate it, it reminds me of wet shoes.

Interesting mix of genres, well-written characters (Haruhi may be annoying at first but it's for the sake of development), great level of attention to details even for KyoAni, despite the supernatural stuff most of the scenes are really down-to-earth without annoying overplayed exagerations. It feels genuine.

Although the Mikuru parts could be removed and the direction the show takes isn't very obvious until, say, the movie.
