I have no idea, he was just a guy liked making jokes about a girl poking poop and then in his next series he proceeds to make the most well choreographed action manga ever.
Literally no one does fight choreography better than Toriyama.
The real kicker is that in almost every interview it comes across like he was never really trying.
Don't get me wrong I know being a mangaka is literally a slaves job, but Tori always seemed to never really gave a big thought about anything he put in his manga.
I really think he was possesed by some god of manga or some shit, his talent for making manga seems almost inhuman.

The show is good. There are 12 episodes, each lasting an hour. It's mostly dialogue and then a fight scene near the end of each episode. From what I remember, it's like 50 minutes of dialogue and 10 minutes of action. It's interesting though. It's like a good 7 or 8 for me.
