Comparing physical labor to mental labor is a non argument.

a CEO probably goes through as much mental stress than a janitor does physical.

>poor people work harder than the rich

good one

First you said comparing mental to physical work is wrong

Then you compare mental to physical work

I knew this would be easy but not this easy

>wahhh poor people work hard and get paid less, wahhhh

Work smarter not harder.

Rey kills luke

Generally speaking, rich people are usually smarter and take more risks. Ever heard the saying, "work smarter not harder"?

>Dad works for IT company
>The guy was in debt for 3 years and work 100 hour weeks
>Now he is a millionaire and his company is churning out profit.

Meanwhile I am doing fuck all in my 8 hours, if I see a rich person it is well deserved.

Why is working "harder" a valuable metric? What's your goal with this meme

work smarter not harder you commie piece of shit

How is workers taking over the means of production going to solve this?

Everyone would be just as poor.

It usually takes an insane work ethic to make it to the top in business, so that it becomes your life. Poor (blue collar) people don't work harder than them, they do work way harder than trust fund babies and their work is less fulfilling generally.

You are obviously right, OP. There is nothing to debate
Sup Forums is full of 16-17 year old brown teenagers who live off their parents, and think capitalism is cool.
So might as well stop trying.

I am poor and I have always had a surplus of love and good cheer to spread my entire life, even in this pozzed up fag culture. You are a faggot.

*starts thread burden of the proof falacy*

I would add, the poor might not work harder than the super rich, but they often work harder than the middle class

Exactly, or an insane amount of risk. Look at the people getting rich off of bitcoin. Knowing when to get out is key, but the bitfags could very easily lose everything if they aren't careful.

That's because they're doing it wrong.
You're supposed to make your money work for you, not do the work yourself.

Past 20-30 years proved employment to be a matter of connections.
If you look through bios of most younger managers and chairmen, you will see it. Parents, family members, marriages, anything but hard work.
"Hard work ethic" means nothing without promotions. Promotions require connections.
Its as simple as that. Stop swallowing lolbiertarian pill

If poor worked harder they would be middle class

Poor people do nothing, thus why they are poor

If you work really hard making a minecraft castle you didn't do anything for the world. Kevin MacSmithstein even did more just by making a fucking spreadsheet for a credit card company, since somewhere down the line something isn't blocked because of it.

A hypothetical welfare leech doesn't work at all. A hypothetical CEO in a failing company about to fall into personal bankruptcy works very hard.

> Debate me.

You're an idiot. No actual debater would ever declare in advance "no exceptions."

All I have to do is find one lazy NEET and I win.

Here's one.

I win.

Why do you 12 year olds think you will benefit materially from taking over the means of production, you won't be able to buy any more things that you do now.

Your living standards would be just the same.
You'd have to work just as hard.

Yeah, because Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, and Jeff Bezos were always making money hand over fist their whole life. Go default on your student loans because being having a major in literature only got you a job at Starbucks.

What about nepotism, glass ceiling and secret societies?

What requirements are there to be part of skull&bones?

work SMART not work hard you fucking leaf

and yes, being a min wage drone isn't working very smart -- try starting a business

Every rich person takes far higher financial risks than the poor. Debate me

>wahh i work hard and can't make money

Get good faggot. Not my fault you suck dick at life and don't deserve to live.

I'm a NEET with less than 500 to my name, I spend most of my days playing vidya. Do I work harder than the rich?

Unlike you, a superior specimen here who has had 4 credit hours of college and knows better kek

No, but you're living life to the fullest user.

but i enjoy physical labor...

This. You can get fucked by the stresses of being homeless until you die, but you still didn't contribute anything to the world.

>"Hard work ethic" means nothing without promotions. Promotions require connections.
Its as simple as that. Stop swallowing lolbiertarian pill

then go and get those connections you autistic sperg. Show initiative and place yourself in situations where those connections can happen for you to take advantage of. oh wait, you're not worth connecting with lmfao

Poor people are scum who should die.

So let's tax the working class to prop welfare leeches.

>he basically admits that its not a matter of hard work or work ethic
Basically /thread, OP is right.

This post is embarrassing.
I have no connections and I have a high paying tech job

>being poor is a fulltime job

You are probably not even 18
Sure thing, buddy

depends on how poor you are, sone financial risks will end up with the poor man homeless. but if you are talking about monetary amounts and not basic need, then yes, you are correct

We should just kill all non-rich people

Goes to show that not all work is valuable. Don't be a Sisyphus, do something useful instead.

businessinsider.com/common-myths-about-rich-people-2015-6

44% of the wealthy worked 11 hours more each week than the poor.
86% of the wealthy who had full time jobs worked 50 hours or more each week, whereas 57% of the poor who had full-time jobs worked less than 50 hours each week.
88% of the wealthy took fewer sick days than the poor.

>we should kill all non-jews
capitalism in nutshell

Okay, you start.

Abolish the income tax and corporate tax.

>I would add, the poor might not work harder than the super rich, but they often work harder than the middle class

Know what you call a poor person working 80 hours a week?

Middle class.

It not. it never was. I already said earlier it's working smart, not hard

and making connections is very smart work

It makes no difference how hard you work, if you're not doing anything valuable you don't get paid. If being a CEO is such easy work why don't all janitors just become CEOs?

>free markets are bad
Kill yourself chiam

>working longer as a rich kike in your office means working harder
Okay, Shlomo
>Implying most poor would not love to work at least 40 hours a week, but literally not being given the hours.

>specimen
forsenT

>muh free trade and free economic migrations
Nice try, mr Goldberg, but under socialism, kike starves

>go and get these connections

Haha like just be born into the right family like why did you choose to be poor? What a dumbass haha

Sure, but there's a lot of BS cushy middle class jobs out there

/thread

I agree with this, but it does not apply to someone who has been born into poverty and realistically no chance to crawl out of it.

>being a commie kike from leftypol

Your ideology is part of the reason people work so many long hours

To the helicopters with you

>working 80 hours a week is acceptable
>literally throwing your entire life and health away for extra $400 just to make ends meet is great
Lmao, do you seriously believe this shit?

Holy autism

Tits or gtfo

most poor wouldnt want to work 40+ hours, in fact most poor dont want to work, hence why they are so poor

Starting a business is very hard work. I am doing that right now. I work everyday at least 12 hours.

>My ideology is a the reason
>He seriously thinks america is socialist
LMAO
Off with you, jew.
Jokes aside, socialism always pursued decrease of work hours per week, historically. Yes, even Stalinism in 50's. Its just a fact.

Yes connections are important, but you generally don't make connections and advance if those connections don't vouch for you in some way, which generally means performing, except in the case of nepotism but that doesn't happen often. Family connections are often a foot in the door, nothing more.

Not everyone in power is a member of those groups.

>Implying you should work more than 40 hours just to rent and eat daily
This is not 1850
>Muh opinion
Let's see those numbers, Schlomo

That's bullshit. Most poor Lower-class people LOVE to work long hours because it's their only fulfilling thing in life. And that's why they're poor. They should not work that long and invest That time in themselves.

>leftypol
>siding with Sup Forums
We throw commies out of helicopters here you slimy rat kike

This is a semantic argument. I understand what you mean.
But I've also watched docos and read biographies of guys who went through the British private school system.
There was nothing about it that wasn't abusive and "hard". Their parents didn't tolerate failure, and there were various circles of authority where corporal punishment was meted out for transgressions and failing to keep up.

But that was from the 80s and earlier. No idea what it's like these days. Probably cry baby central like the rest of the UK seems to have gone.

Class Based societies are pretty brutal and each class polices and punishes it's own a lot of the time.
But it's still hard to argue that working down a coal mine isn't worse than the abused private school kid ending up a barrister or politician at the end of his trials.

Persevering through bad times with the knowledge that freedom lays beyond beats out a lifetime of perseverance through bad times with black lung waiting at the far end. Coal miners tended to shift that hope for freedom onto their children. Make sure that if they were smart, that they go the fuck out via the grammar school system.

if you’re only making an extra 400 working 80 hours a week as apposed to the full time definition of 40 hours then you better recheck your wage vs minimum wage

Being CEO is out of reach for most people.

That's not true, I'm poor because I do the bare minimum to survive. It's not stressful at all. I chose this life specifically because it's not stressful.

>socialism always pursued decrease of work hours per week, historically
Retard

If making connections was all you had to do then it would eliminate a large portion of the competence required to make a system work and it would collapse.

If someone is lazy or bad at their job, tjen we agree that they shouldn't be there. Unfortunately for you your argument is that it is the case most of the time which is impossible considering the fact we have a civilization.

Were still living in a class based society mate. Nothing has changed.

>Only one of those people in pic is a kike
>He still buys judeo-bolshevist conspiracy meme
>worships pinochet the spic
Amerimutt capitalist in a nutshell. PS bullets are cheaper than helicopters, just 4 u

Work smarter, not harder.

The strongest ditch digger is going to be outdone by a steam shovel. It doesn't matter how hard they worked. The steam shovel is going to out perform them in digging.

Nice facts. How does it feel like to be BTFO by a commie?

Or better yet, start a business

I'm poor and I have plenty of emotional energy.

unless you have been every single poor person and every rich person i don't think you have the right to say that.

if being poor was a like a job, niggers would find a way to avoid it

lmao darwin

Every poor deserves to be poor.

Otherwise they wouldn't be.

Prove me wrong.

No one gets rich unless they explore the labor of other people, there is no exceptions

Many rich people had to work just as hard if not harder than the average poor person to get where they're at. Not every wealthy individual has money handed to them.

Fuck, bitter poor people are so sad.

Truth.

hi, my net worth is over $1 million.

I work every single day. Sometimes I take the weekend off, but I'm still thinking about my business the whole time. I have not taken a vacation day in over a year.

Every day, I need to coordinate teams of people, respond to customers, take calls with our legal firm (and PR firm, and branding agency...), schedule meetings, provide corporate docs to auditors, and if I'm lucky, I get to spend a few hours actually working on our product. I sleep 5-6 hours on average.

I am in a state of constant stress, and my physical health has fallen by the wayside. I have several undiagnosed chronic conditions. This past month, I began to experience panic attacks. which apparently aren't a meme and actually fucking suck.

By the way, I am paid less than half the salary of the other people I employ. In return I get a big chunk of corporate stock, which, for all I know, may end up being completely worthless.

Each morning I have a few minutes of peaceful ignorance before the reality of my situation sinks in. These days I frequently daydream about running away from it all, just walking to the freeway and sticking out my thumb. It couldn't possibly be worse than this.

So yeah, being rich is fucking great.

i never implied anything about needing that many hours just for self sustainment. with a minimum wage job you should only need about 30 hours a week and not be retarded with your spending and you will be just fine

Except for the poor working the socialist system for free services and doing no work.

Maybe in brazil

often times planning and innovation is more valuable than menial labor.

who would have thought?

That is why I said work smarter brainlet.

Yea but that junkie over there is poor so he works harder than you.

>Work smarter not harder.

This.

It's about working smart and makign good investments.

I bought 23 bitcoin last year and I made more money than the average lawyer. I cashed out half of them and put some in various altcoins and stock market index funds.

Getting ahead is about making good choices and good decisions. If people can't make good choices it's on them.

shut the fuck up you racist homophobic privileged pos i work 20 hours a week and make no money although i am fully able and its your fault stop oppressing me
