Easily "lawl so randum omg I'm such a nerd xD" to hit it big with the Reddit audience. Throw in just enough fanservuce and cliches to catch your typical loser weaboo that will eat up anything that gets his dick hard. Instant hit.

Heroes and adventurers challenge the Demon Lord's tower-like castle. However, they soon realize that whenever a worthwhile hero dies within the tower, it grows in size; adding another floor to its height.

And with it, a new demon appears who bears a striking resemblance to their fallen friend...

Black Clover but with guns

Main Character works as a detective in a fictional called Alussia that had a strange history involving the founding families.

Recently in the city there has been a pop up of mass murders and unnatural things occurring. The MC is called in to investigate the murder and burglary of a historian whose death shares the same MO as a unidentified serial killer in the city. When returning to the crime scene late at night the detective awakens magical powers that's been lying dormant in them after coming in-contact with an artifact the historian kept hidden in their office, which marks them as a sacrifice and target to supernatural entities.

Now to unravel the secret of the historian's murder and the events unfolding in the city, the detective will become involved in a fued between two of the city's founding families and a magic war that involves an Old Eldritch God that could see the city burning to ashes.

The story mostly follows:

-The Detective trying to wrap their head around the secret conspiracy going on and what it has to do with the serial murders.
-Attempting to defeat both sides without killing the people involved in the magical conflict while following the laws of the city.
-Trying to not get killed by those with more skill in using magic than them, along with the other supernatural entities that hunt in the city.
-And the madness of the main antagonist who wishes to push the detective to the edge with how nobody can be better than what they say they are, and all humans are animals.

I'd watch it.

>And the madness of the main antagonist who wishes to push the detective to the edge with how nobody can be better than what they say they are, and all humans are animals.

The main antagonist did nothing wrong and was right all along. I would give it a watch though.

>average japanese boy is hit by truck
>both the boy and the truck (empty) are sent to a fantasy world
>the boy also became an overpowered succubus full of lust
>she becomes an evil tyrant and serial rapist
>years passes
>inhabitant of the fantasy world finds the truck
>the only way to kill the evil succubus is by hitting her with the truck
>MC then travels the world in his truck in a quest to defeat the evil that oppress his world

While the MC is walking home from school, he is almost hit by a bus, but before the bus could strike him he tackled to safety by the school's slut.

The MC falls in love with the girl after this and does everything in his power learning how to be a gentleman, taking advice about women from his childhood friend (female), and everything else in order to become his school's slut boyfriend and slowly reform her.

The school slut accepts being the MC girlfriend thinking he wants a quick fuck, but when her advances are rejected and MC actually shows signs of caring for her she begins to take their relationship serious and reform herself.

The only thing stopping them from having a happy life however, is that several of the sluts old habits become living entities who wish to drag her back into her old way of life and are yanderes. Now to be with the slut the MC and his companions must battle these entities as they cause trouble throughout their town, and save the slut from herself.

Title: Ze Hat
In a nut shell: A series based heavily on old Jackie Chan films and other Hong Kong action flicks

MC's name is Jun Ree (named after martial artist Jhoon Goo Rhee) which does sound a little bit like a girls name in retrospect which could be a small running joke in the series and runs an odd job/handyman business. As for martial arts he's quiet capable, but the thing is he looks and somewhat acts like a good damn idiot while fighting (hence the Jackie Chan part) so everyone initially underestimates him. Other than that the only other thing set in stone about him is that he wears a blue baseball type hat which is how we get the tittle of the series (if it sounds like a stupid reason, that's the point).

The setting is mainly old slums of Not Hong Kong, some nice buildings here and there but generally not the type of place you want to go for vacation.

Plot structure is episodic consisting of 2 or 3 episodes per story and where the battles/fights happen usually involving Jun Ree vs a group of random grunts but occasionally on a one on one fight, some are original and some are heavily borrowing the plot from old Hong Kong movies. Only thing the connects them is Jun Ree is involved in some way be it major or minor whether it be because of a job in order to make a quick buck, roped in against his will, or just plain bad luck.

>medieval setting
>merchant boy meets wolf girl
>they get together and travel the world doing business
>their battles aren't made through fighting, but rather through clever moneymaking schemes
I think I just want another season of Spice and Wolf, even if they turned it into a battle shounen.

>I'm here to seduce you!
In a land where women are the only ones allowed with magical abilities...A cabal of people plot the downfall of one family by sending in a group of assassins who are not only well versed in the art of killing, but are also well versed in the art of seduction and love making. In this world magical abilities work by how pure a person is sexually, if a woman loses her virginity it means her powers either deplete or disappear entirely. Taking it as a chance to either eliminate a rival or turn the family into an enemy depending on how well the mission goes, the cabal send in a man no women's charms can resist but he ends up falling in love with his target...

The protagonist is a transfer student to a special boarding school designed to reform delinquents and criminal adolescences. The headmaster and founder is a world renowned psychologist with a disregard for ethics, and is using the students as his guinea pigs for his various experiments. One of his little experiments surrounds dominance and hierarchy in humans. So students are allowed to fight each other freely as long as there is a formal challenge, agreed upon rules (ie. no more people jumping in, no weapons unless agreed upon, etc.) and witnesses to the act. As the new kid, he gets challenged pretty quickly and is thrown into a sink or swim situation. He almost looses his first fight, but ditches his reasonable mind and goes full beast mode, destroying his opponent. This attracts the attention of several parties, who either what to fight the man they saw at the end of that fight, put down that monster, or study the phenomenon.

The story would follow the protagonist fighting to establish himself his new environment, his own bloodlust that develops every time he fights and trying to not attract the attention of the headmaster so he gets turned into a "pet project".

CHAOS SPACE MARINE LOLIS

So like it's reverse isekai, bunch of csm on a black crusade get sent into a cgdct/sol universe and are transformed into cute little girls. They still have all of their original personalities and memories and knowledge; but the stamina, strength, and dexterity of little girls; so they're not conquering the world anytime soon, and like their warp/psyker powers are extremely diminished so the most the former plaugemarine champion now eye-bagged sniffly little girl can do is give people short lasting colds or really itchy rashes.

They'll be really nasty naughty little girls, like delinquent lolis being mean and maipulative, and biting people and giving extremely out of place (but interpreted as chunni) speeches regarding blood for the blood god and such at school festival athletic competitions to get their teams fired up.

Ultimately they aren't really powerful to do anything really 'evil' but end up as quite popular for their odd chunni-ish antics and fairly harmless (but ultimately beneficial where they count; these lolis once again being csms with thousands of years of experience in warfare, subterfuge, manipulation etc; so their antics although always selfish and maliciously motivated have positive effects on the people directly around them who are their classmates/neighbors/teachers; e.g. disappearing the local groper because slaanesh loli got mad he didn't try grope her, khorne loli gives a terrifying and inspiring pre game speech and the team wins the inter-school championship because she didn't want to lose, tzeetch sorcerer loli really enjoys some manga, hears it's ending, sets up the mangaka with the christmas cake homeroom teacher so he continues writing and everyone is overjoyed for her finally getting married etc...)

>MC = teenage human-dragon hybrid boy living among human-dragon hybrid society

>first ruler is taking advantage of his society
>MC becomes stronger, rallies up troops, eventually takes down the first boss
>fights with other rulers comes as a consequence of him becoming a ruler himself
>the boss he took down was the weakest of the 5
>must ascend the power hierarchy of each kingdom in order to take out the rest of the bosses
>eventually come to a point where the power balance of the world shifts
>MC changes how his nation is run to reflect the loss of each ruler
>things stagnate for the most part and MC lives the quiet life he yearned for at the beginning

The Wizard Revolution

In this world people gain magical powers if they managed to stay virgin in their 30s, but almost nobody knows that as not many people make this far.

However, our protagonist is a kissless virgin that just became 30, and with his newly found powers he plans to take his revenge against sex havers. He now must climb the ladders of the magician's secret academy in order to put foward his plot to overthrow society!

Pic extremely related.

>In a high dark fantasy world the shota MC wishes to become a Knight and then King of their own country.
>During a festival MC's village is having they come under attack by a raid party by the neighboring kingdom. MC is knocked out during the attack, and when they awaken the next day finds most of everyone dead, and survivors having moved.
>MC is left alone in the ruins of their village until a supernatural woman happens to come along and offers the MC the chance to create their dream of becoming a King and get revenge on the raiders. In return however, the MC must swear absolute loyalty to them, belong to them, and help them fulfill their ultimate wish.
>MC accepts the deal the woman's offers them and becomes incapable of dying, able to respawn so long as the woman wishes.
>MC then become a squire in an Order of Knights thanks to the woman's help, work to become a full fledge Knight, earn the respect of their kingdom, find and kill the raiders who attacked his village, become King, and help the woman who gave him immortality wish to free her dearly beloved Dark God.

>MC slowly descends to madness and becomes a huge ryonafag
I don't even know what the plot is supposed to be about.

These are awful

Fujisaki Konoe transfers to a new school.

On her first day, when deciding what club to join, she gets stopped by an upperclassman girl who wants her to join the "Fight Soul" club. At first, she mistakes it to be a club about "toukon", but after class when she makes it to the clubroom, suddenly she's having an out of body experience?!? Her soul was forced out of its body and clad in armour and weaponry called Bounds, and she is forced to fight for her life alongside the other club members against a group of foreigners in similar armour.

It turns out that the Fight Soul Club is a group that fights to protect their classmates from the souls of evil and ambitious people all over the world. If not stopped, attackers would be able to cause fatal accidents and harvest the souls of dead students to leave their humanity behind for power, becoming Mazoku.

For the sake of her classmates, Konoe will become a Hero and defend against these attacking souls, along with the cool beauty club leader Tsurime-senpai and the unmotivated Matsudai Hitori.

Eh, that's my Hero Bound? A tetsubo isn't heroic at all, is my class set to Oni Hero or something!?! Both Matsudai and Senpai have Katana!

>Generic fantasy setting
>Main character is a simple peasant
>Discovers that the world he knows and everything in it is a lie, a simulation running on a computer.
>Goes on a quest to find a way to become real in a party with the setting's hero and demon lord, jumping from simulation to simulation as a computer virus.

It's a generic monster of the week Battle Shounen, except instead of showing the battles, it immediately cuts to the hero winning and then going off to the bar and shooting the shit with his buddies and living a normal life.

>MC is hybrid of two diff species.
>Said species are mortal enemies and he is branded as an abomination by both species.
>Dad is part of some warrior order but gets killed when the order finds out about his union with enemy specie.
>Mother slowly dies of illness.
>MC swears to his dying mother that he will take revenge.
>Joins the order.

The story is set in a parallel Japan very similar to the modern Japan we known today. Increasing income divide, creeping environmental pollution, unsolvable garbage problems, childcare waiting lists being disputed while those directly involved aren't present, repeated cases of corruption... Japan's government, entrenched in its own vested interests, can do nothing about the abundant problems and discontent throughout the land. Now, at long last, idols are taking a stand to rescue a nation with no way out! The Heroine Party, the Sunlight Party, the Starlight Party, the Bishoujo Party, the Wakaba Party, the Subculture New Party, and the SOS Party: idols from these seven idol political parties who have become Diet members representing each prefecture will crash through the sense of stagnation that surrounds Japan with their song and dance! They will bring back the people's smiles and envelop Japan in their shining aura!

>The ninjas/pirates/shinigamis/martial artists/mages/alchemists/zodiac fighters/samurais/hunters/superheroes are now a brand new topic that hasn't been done before

>magic energy weapons (think Asterisk War kinda) and magic spells are the staple of combat and warfare
>MC is immune to magic of all forms because mana/magic does not exist in his body, being a human from another world in modern times and all, though all things in that world should have it in them supposedly without exception, and this threatens MCs disguise, which is bad cuz Humans are an urban legend

>Super Duper Global Grand Tournament coming up
>Grand prize is the Wish Gem, grants any wish
>MC sees this as ticket to get home

MC is born as all the world's evil and is supposed to create a big army of monsters from Liches to Archdemons to destroy the world.

The MC decides to screw fate and become a homeless man while the Order of Heroes creates Heroes to counter the MC one day future army, and look for the chosen one to save the world who is suppose to stop the MC.

While traveling around as a homeless man the MC saves a fellow homeless who is a lolis life from some Demons. It is revealed that the loli is the chosen one meant to slay the MC and that they were being chased by the God's of Evil, an organization that worships the world's evil (MC) and wants to find them to bring the end of the world/kill the loli.

Now to fight against fate. The MC will journey across the land protecting the loli from God's Evil and the Order of Heroes, raising her as his own daughter, getting into episodic adventures as he and the loli live as homeless bums doing oddjobs to make money, fighting both Heroes and Evil Monsters, and deciding his own ending in life.

what series is this pic from?

art looks familiar. from the same guy as the witch with a glass eye series?

Voynich Hotel

I doubt you can beat up someone like Revy or Esdeath in a fight, this MC can and you could probably beat him up in a fight.

Universe in which a Virtual Reality MOBA game has taken over the whole world.
Story is MC's journey of becoming a pro and winning world championship.

How the game works
Build your own character so there's no need for new character designs every game.
Instead different weapons give your custom character different skill trees and stats.
Defeating enemies allow you to get enchantments to boost your stats and activate new skills.
Teammates communicate with in-game telekinesis
Everything else is basically standard MOBA.

You get the action of battle anime and the team spirit of Sports anime.

Yes. Its from his manga Oddman 11.

Its about a girl who wants to date a masochist boy, but before she can she has go through his Ex-girlfriends who all have weird fetishes and who she makes a personal harem out of.

Think of it as Japanese Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

A meteorite hit earth a hundred years ago. It´s radiation enhances every living human and their offspring.

The meteorite sends a telegraphic message once every four year:
A tournament will be held, to decide the strongest human. That person will get his wish granted, in return that person shall also do the meteorite one favour in return.

Since the meteorite fell, everyone have gained enhanced speed and strength, but some have awakened to a special power. Ice, fire, wind, ultra speed, you name it. Is like your shounen manga.

The world has been split into different districts. Within every district there are battle schools, is via joining a school and doing well winning matches that you can advance, people train and participate in qualifiers to ultimately be chosen to participate in the world tournament. To win and get their wish granted.

To this date though, none of the winners have survived their last encounter with the meteorite. Is the wish just a hoax? Or did they fail to return the asked favour? No matter, for the possibility of that one wish, no matter what, to be granted, is all it takes for everyone to shoot for the win.

Everyone wears a bracelet, you win, you get points, you lose, you lose points. Points acts like currency. Different districts different rules regarding bracelets

Follow our MC, weak as hell physically, but has the interesting ability to mindrape people he touches. Transferring from the D-City to K-Town. A lowly ranked district.

D-City bracelet rules are simple. Can´t turn down a challenge, your points reach zero, you die. While in K-Town, nothing happesn when your point reach zero. Is MC a killer? And what is his wish?

Two main characters.
Genki girl with no friends because she is too strong, and daughter of a big crime organization. Wind powers.

Murderous look kind boy, transfer student. Mind rape powers.

Posted this in the last thread, but it applies here too:
>Romance of the 3 Kingdoms style setup, only medieval.
>Each kingdom uses elite dragon riding knights
>Every dragon is different, and the relationship between dragon and rider is super deep and friendship and shit

3 main characters, each a rookie from one of the 3 warring kingdoms:
>Main MC - Plain, everyman shounen boy with a very generic, european style dragon
>Neither of them have any special powers and are just about average physically
>But they're both REALLY smart and good at coming up with strategies/working together to overcome their limits/counter enemy dragon abilities

>Edgy Rival MC - From the more violent kingdom, super gifted physically
>Found an ancient artifact from a legendary knight that allowed him to tame the knights old wyvern against it's will
>Still tries to be friends with the wyvern without using the artifact when he can, but the wyvern ain't taking none of this young shit's shit when her old master was a true baller

>Female MC - nice, suitably generic girl knight, with an ancient lung type water dragon
>her dragon is super intelligent and mostly ends up guiding her more than she guides it

>Story starts off with just the three meeting during random missions/battles
>BUT SUDDENLY INVADING DRAGON ARMY FROM OVERSEAS
>the 3 kingdoms have to combine forces to keep off the invasion
>While also barely being able to trust each other
>Thus the 3 MCs end up working together against a bunch of OP villain dragons/knights

Guarantee it'll be huge.

A boy falls in love with a girl.

Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.

But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.

Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.

Failing normal mode but not failing hard mode.

Impressive.

>Be in 1940
>Nazi experimentation makes the perfect soldiers called Menschpanzers
>exact same as you and me but with skin equivalent to 100mm of armor (Still feels and looks like skin)
>Super stronk too because why not
>Menschpanzers fight with these massive cannons ripped straight from WW2 tanks and use them like rifles
>Guns are too weaksauce, only way to kill these people are with tank cannons
>Main character Menschpanzer and his buddies switch sides to England
>Fights escalate every episode; some guys have bigger guns, some have thicker skin (literally)

A crude comparison, but think of it as this: Arpeggio of Blue Steel is to World of Warships what this anime (let's call it "Hai kyaribā no heishi") is to World of Tanks

I'd read and watch this shit right here

A boy falls in love with a girl.

Having had his confession rejected by her on the basis that he's not grand enough for her, he seeks out ways to improve himself as one. Fate intervenes in the form of a badly weakened magical girl that had just come from a fight in the magical realm. Not recognizing her as his long separated fiery childhood friend he accepts a pact with her to help her out as her familiar.

Something goes very wrong though as instead of finding himself empowered by her magic, he and the girl swap bodies. Quickly adjusting to this odd predicament, they discover that while their contract did not turn out how they predicted he somehow possesses aptitudes for magic far beyond the girl herself.

Making quick work of the beasts from the other world, he undoes the magical girl transformation and they both return back to their respective bodies. They get reacquainted with each other and she explains that she's one of several chosen human representatives by warring factions in the other world. The demon tribe has been on the rise with the goal of the unification of both worlds under their great demoness leader and they are just steamrolling all the other races.

After a few bouts with rival human world agents, things take a turn for the ridiculous when a fated encounter reveals the great demoness leader is in fact the girl the MC fancies and that she's taken by his actions in the magical girl's body and marks the magical girl as her top pick for her human world spouse.

Faced with making the right decision for the future of their worlds, MC must buy time by engaging in a farcical love polygon of epic shakespearean proportions and triumph over all the challenges the girl he loves sends his way to judge his worth.

I call this one "Much Ado About Conquering".

Dota 2: The anime

A normal high school boy transfers into a new school. He finds himself placed in a shitty class room with broken windows and no books or desks. When he asks why this school which is supposed to be top notch has such shitty conditions, he's told it's just that class room. The school is based on the strong getting the best education. So if the MC wants to learn more, he'll have to train and defeat people in better classes to take their place. The MC decides this is a terrible system and vows not only to get strong enough to get in better classes, but to defeat the principle and change the school so everyone can get a good education. However, to do this he'll need to learn the secrets of nenchihakichakara and gain power.

The mecha is a tsundere so every time a fight happens she refuses to let MC in the pit and calls him a pervert while the monster of the week (See: Kuudere, Yandere, Thugdere, etc.) Rampages around town. Hijinks ensue as they begin to ignore each other and question the nature of OLEV.

>12 Guardians are chosen, they develop powers and their character as they deal with death.
>They fight flying beetle things.
>Main character is an insect nerd and soon becomes King of the Bees and basically turns out to handle 99% of everything and everyone else is basically insignificant pebbles in front of the plot

I recall actually reading this series years ago. Think the scans stopped and the series got canned within the year.

>Take a bitter, cynical asshole
>Grant him power of Friendship/Love/etc. abilities
>He is told that the only way to use his new powers is to make bonds with people
>"Why" he says
>He spends the rest of the adventure trying to exploit the powers by figuring out how they work
>Gathers easily trusting people and begrudgingly helps them out
>Does the bare minimum of what is required for "friendship" and generally acts like a prick the rest of the time
>Experiments with the powers to see if they run on a "good points" system
>Tries to establish "bonds" with separate people through different means to see if the powers activate (fear for one, sex for another, mutual dislike or mutual feelings in general for another, etc.)

Solitary, asocial MC must face off against a villainous organization.

The catch is that the Power of Friendship is a tangible force in this universe and each of the members are grouped together depending on how much they like each other. Every time the MC picks off one member in a battalion, he runs the risk of having the remaining opponent(s) go Super Saiyan on his ass.

Eventually, the MC has to resort to making friends himself in order to grind the rest of his way up the chain of command, which is quite difficult, given he's socially inept and hates interacting with others. Of course, he eventually grows to care for his friends instead of seeing them as a means to an end and carves out a life in solitude after the conflict, occasionally meeting with his old war buddies.

That sounds pretty watchable.

>Protagonist is some dude who used to like games but wants a qtgf so he quit
>One day sees his dreamgirl and follows her

>"Sorry, I won't go out with anyone weaker than me. If you want me to go out with you, win the Revolution tournament in Las Vegas."
>MC enters the crazy world of vidya fightan games with spectacularly animated battles.
>Slowly masters different games and characters
>Rivalry, trash talking, melodrama
>One rival only picks grapplers, one only picks cute characters, etc
>N-NANI!? BUT I WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE THE COUNTER-PICK!

MC is a detective in a dystopian cyberpunk noir setting where the corporations own everything and augmented human gangs run rampant (basically shadowrun)

Stop posting that because it's already a thing.

The MC is always creating contraptions to fight the bullies at his school and defend others. One day during a fight, he is spotted by this teacher from this other school who was scouting for talent. The teacher is from a top-secret engineering school that develops weapons and lets the students battle each other with them. He offers the MC admission to the school.

All the typical shounen fighting tropes apply but all the powers come from the inventions the students create.

You know highschool battle harems? That but all the combat styles, centered around tournaments. A dimensional rift just drew a bunch of different dimensions together, each with their own 'unique' combat methods. Bunch of different schools form to raise kids to fight each other in tournaments, as they would other wise just fight each other in actual war.

Yes there can be a harem around the mc, but his bro squad is much more interseting that the actual harem in every other dude being boss as fuck. We have gundams getting fucking parried Darksouls style and then riposted. We got guy with FMA style alchemy fighting against a summoner/famililar user. There's a barehanded martial artist that can shrug off bullets against a skilled agent/operator type, etc.

plot: some guy gets trapped in a cave and is going to die when he comes across an infernal Djinn trapped in a bottle. he agrees to free the djinn if he'll halp him escape, but as usual there is a catch to his wish being granted(that being that the djinn kills him with infernal flames and reshapes him outside the cave) knowing this the guy adds on to his wish that in return for freedom from the bottle the djinn will be imprisoned within his body so that he can't cause trouble in the outside world. the djinn agrees since he finds a life outside trapped in a human better than one in a cave.

the guy is now free from the cave notices two things. 1 that he has gained the powers of an infernal djinn
and 2 that his body no longer functions like that of a human (he doesn't age or need sleep)

the story begins 55 years later. djinns are now a well know phenomenon and people are trying to study them to determine how they work and how to stop them. mc now hunts and captures djinns in order to build up enough power to light an infernal flame that can kill the djinn that he had posses him, which turned out to be shaitan(basically the devil). unfortunately it's not just djinns he has to fight, there are various organizations that want to either kill him or use his power. the catch is that the mc would basically be able to one hit ko anyone if he used shaitan's power, but the more he does the less human he becomes and the more shaitan takes over is body (none of that I can train to control the power bullshit) meaning that he has to hunt djinns using only his human power. also over time shaitan's control slowly grows, and he admits to the mc that he is usually able to claim even the most powerful soul within at most 60 years. so the mc has only 5 years left before he completely loses himself and each time he has to use shaitans power the time table is moved up.

I've always been annoyed that Japan does a lot of fantasy, but it's always the same regurgitated shit. Where is the crazy high fantasy shit with Flying Castles, other dimensions, Gods holding up mountains, normal cities that look like some crazy heavenly city.
I guess it's simply easier to draw normal shit and trace every other manga artist than something somewhat unique.

Either way, I want something like that. Something like pic related being as common as the next mountain. While even crazier shit would be everywhere too.

As for the story, lets go with;
>poor boy (who has demon blood. Horns, tail) finds talisman with the spirit of an ancient and powerful Demon (lets go with some kind of legendary animal, like Kitsune or someshit)
>Demon was on the verge of death after a great war and sealed himself into the talisman so he can be revived later
>demon is actually good, a bit silly, acts kinda like a mascot
>takes a liking to the kid and decides to train him in magic, alchemy and arcane forging (the last two because that will help with expanding the world)
>kid later on meets a spirit dragon, basically another kid in the same boat as him, abused for not being human (can transform into a humanoid appearance, like there master)
>they become best friends, travel the world while doing generic battle shounen adventures
Nothing deep. Just two best friends with the overarching story being them trying to revive their dead master in a beautiful and fanciful world.

Today's attempt at tweaking the premise.

A boy falls in love with a girl. They also happen to be rivals in many kinds of martial art activities. He's unable to confess because he's conflicted between conquering her heart and conquering her techniques.

One day, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is shocked to find out that she has a crush on him as well.

But the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression, mainly because his skills seem weaker than usual. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.

Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets behind their abilities in order to equip the other with the literal weapons they need to conquer their other selves. DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE and BATTLE.

Pervert MC needs to harnes the power of his violent tsundere childhood friend to defeat the villains.

this week we refurbish old memes

A boy falls in love with a girl.

Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.

But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE. but unbeknown to them, each time they use their phones to call each other, the barrier between their two worlds get weaker, and will eventually break if they continue. what lies beneath that barrier is an ages old leviathan ready to devour both worlds, and it's up to the two star crossed lovers to stop it, equipped only with their wits, and their cell phones.

Even Then, It Can't Be Helped, So I'll Have To Use That!?

A NEET gets hit by a truck and is transported into a painfully generic battle shonen - but it's a corny US dub with fast talking and emotionless delivery. He is the only one capable of dramatic japanese speech because of his chuuni days, so he instantly usurps the real MC because the battles in this series are mostly about dramatic talking and funny poses. How dramatically you state your attacks even determines how powerful you are. However, he appeared several seasons in, and the MC and his friends had an established gang that this faggot is disrupting. The dramatic NEET is even wooing the real MC's girl, his childhood friend, and his mother all at the same time. So, the real MC takes it upon himself to train to become the most dramatic shonen hero of all time and defeat this intruder who would take his happy life away from him.

Comedy isekai of the year, konosuba BTFO

>Unbeknownst to them, each time they use their phones to call each other, the barrier between their two worlds get weaker, and will eventually break if they continue. What lies beneath that barrier is an ages-old leviathan ready to devour both worlds, and it's up to the two star-crossed lovers to stop it, equipped only with their wits, and their cell phones.
That's workable for a classic Man vs. the Unknown conflict.

If any of you anons follow through on a premise you've made in a writethread, I may give you $20 for the effort.

>NEET brought his cellphone with him
>uses it to play the OP during his battles so he'll always score amazing wins
>villains eventually realize the source of his power and steal his phone to use to play their own music
>world is fucked
>phone runs out of battery

A fantasy continent is divided into 2 great empires.
In the East is the Evil Demon Empire, and in the West is also the Evil Demon Empire.
Despite both of them being evil, they worship different evil gods so they do evil things to each other.
The MC is a paladin. An evil paladin.

A brawny short-haired tomboy, a cool reclusive bookworm, and a crafty slender orphan all fight crime and train to be just like their mom and dad, who used to be Shonen protagonists of their own series that got married and had kids. They're all girls and they fight in their own unique ways, learning to harness their powers in all sorts of methods. One uses her strength and agility to take down foes the traditional martial arts manga way, one uses energy beams and constructs to overwhelm enemies like in more modern series, and one utilizes her mechanical arm and eye along with a myriad of tricks and traps to up for her lack of strength and mystic powers.

>weak mc boi
>evil people beat up his friends
>yameroooo!
>evil people laugh and are about to kill his friends
>*screams and teary eyes intensifies*
>mc's hidden powers awakens
>mc beats the evil people and they flee
>omoiteroo!
>super sexy goddess of sex heroine from outer space exclusively offers herself to the mc, ara ara~
>mc's nose bleeds and he chants "I can't do this!" repeatetly
>this goes on for weeks
>mc meets some average girl, yoroshiku.
>she instantly becomes his friend and they do things like BFF
>girl gets kidnapped by evil people, "tasukete, mc-kun! *sniff*"
>mc hurries to the resque
>girl have been beaten and her cheek has some minor rash
>mc lowers his head, "zettai ni yurusanai!"
>mc almost grinds his teeth off, "korosuteiru!"
>fight ensues
>mc ends up destroying half the town with his super power levels, but for some reason isn't held responsible for shitting people property
>girl is saved, yattaa!
>mc carries her to home and tends to her wounds
>this repeats for 25 episodes and mc ends up with that shitty average girl instead of goddess

>MC is the weakest in the Sonic fighting academy.
>When his brother, Coldsteel the Hedgeheg destroys the Sonic fighting academy, he swears to revenge on his brother.
>He has a special power that makes him go faster than everybody else.
>He teleports behind *Coldsteel*, psh nothin' personal brother.
>He proceeds to turn to the dark side and destroys the rebuilt Sonic fighting academy causing his brother to swear revenge on him

Mx0 minus getting axed.

A group of heroes from a typical game rpg find themselves smack dab in the middle of Australia without their bag of holding. Their bag of holding split apart when they got blown through a dimensional gate and now all their consumables and power-ups are strewn about the wilds of Australia where just about anything could have benefited from the items.

With only a wayward thrill seeker doing a solo walkabout in the area to help them through their crisis, one white dude and these otherworlders must gather their wits about them in order to survive out in the wilds of Australia and find their way home before they succumb to its many, many, many perils.

Basically, "Survivor: Isekai Special"

Isekai'd MC attempts to destroy the main girl's smile so he could summon the devil and get back his soul that he sold to him 3 million years ago.

A grizzled veteran who loves fighting from a fantasy world gets fed up with all those faggot japanese highschoolers being summoned, doing a half-assed job and getting all the credit while the soldiers die like cannon-fodder with no one giving a shit about it so he decides to beat the living shit out of those outworlders using all his years of training and experience and the help of likely-minded nutjobs.

>neet protagonist
>discovers his talent for shitposting
>gets scolded by an user
>vows to become the best shitposter in the world

>romance
>boring, generic, colorful artstyle
>safe voice actors
>13 episodes
>protagonist is a total beta cuck and never even kisses the girl before the show ends
Guaranteed hit.

I'd watch this. Maybe have some NHK vibes to it and it would be good.

A hero and his companions go on a quest to defeat the Demon Lord and his Legions of Doom, except the MC isn't the hero or even one of the main fighters but instead the guy in charge of cooking, buying shit and all the other similar bullshit.
The story focuses on the MC dealing with the logistics of supporting the hero's party while they go and do their heroic things.

Also, a recurring joke is that, despite arguably being the most useful member of the party outside of combat, no one seems to recognize MC as one of the hero's companion or even remember his name.

In the distant future, earth has suffered from countless wars. These wars got so bad that the planet was literally torn apart and the world suffered billions of lives lost as a result.

Now, even further in the future, the world has changed into a bizarre thing of what was once believed to be fiction. Countries and Islands float, entire cities flying through the sky, the ground nowhere to be seen, the entirety of earth a shattered mess of giant mountains that because of the evolution of the planet through destruction, radiation and a newfound ore called Skyrock. With the planet changed into something that represents more alien than earth, the people have changed with it. People have gained abilities that seem more magic than straight out science.
The technology of the world has been put to somewhat of a halt, seemingly all over the place, with some parts of the world being technologically advanced, others more "steampunk".

The story would follow two best friends, a boy who has absolutely no magical talent, someone considered to be a cripple by todays standards) and woke up in the middle of some ancient ruins with some strange time manipulation technology, and a Temporal Blade, as well as knowledge of how they work, however no other memories, not even who he is. And the one who found him, a boy with one of two more rarest magical talents, one being White Magic (healing, exorcisms etc. etc.) the other Nature (basically the same, only with Nature Control).
The two of them, from a poor community looking to make it big as Adventures on a Sky Vessel. Ships that travel the new world, and space.

I've always liked Dragon Ball Z's power levelling. The way they train and all that.
Problem is, I find their fight scenes to be so terribly boring.

So if we took the training style, of that meditation, and workouts mixed with training spiritual energy and all that shit.
Then change it to be about MC travelling strange fantasy world. And have crazy other world shit happening all the time.

I think it might be pretty cool. Add in monsters or whatever else. And presto.
Also, give the MC a weapon. Maybe a Spear. Spears don't seem to appear that much in Anime. So I'd like a spear.

i actually would like a series where a girl redeems herself. the idea is refreshing

there are enough sluts in reality. would like to explore the fantasy of a girl turning from being a slut.

Come on now. We all know how to make a popuplar battle shounen.

>Protag is normal but special. Don't question this logic.
>Protag have "another me" inside his/her body.
>Rival is someone with direct opposite personality.
>Possible love interest will start from useful to useless.
>Somehow beats experienced fighters.
>Friendship helps in 1v1.
>H-he's fast!
>Always shout when someone does his/her special move.
>Talk, while fighting.
>Seemingly normal MC have an impossibly incredibly strong father.
>Protag beats someone close to his/her death is the same as becoming good friends.

In _FANTASY SETTING_, a young boy dreams of becoming the _Character Class_ _Ruler Title_, but unfortunately he was boring with _no/too much_ _Series Power Source_. He also unknowingly has an ultra-powerful _monster_ sealed within him!

He sets out on his impossible journey with his long time friend and rival who is better than him in every way.

He joins a misfit _group_ of _class type_ and vows to work his way to the top!

>see this thread
>want another good long time martial arts shounen show
>decide it'd be cooler if it was magical martial arts, that way things can be more intense
>look up some shit
>see "Xianxia"
>what the fuck is that?
>it's a genre in China that is literally just that, super magical martial arts
>"woah, that sounds cool"
>it's some of the most generic shit imaginable
What a shame

Or a high percentage of shonen manga.

Right now I can remember Yu-Gi-Oh and The Breaker.
