Kurumi getting the Date only means that the plot is wrapping up, enjoy your lewd side stories.
This "Date a Live Fragment" series of books will reveal past stories of the spirits apparently, Tachibana has probably a lot of ideas stored up in his head that this is needed so that he can focus on the main plot in the main LN.
