Acchi Kocchi was spring 2012. KinMoza was summer 2013. S2 and the movie are more recent, but why do you think one got more anime and the other didn't? Because one was more popular.

It's pretty popular, about New Game level. Nothing can be as popular as Gochiusa, and YuruYuri is already dead.

The problem of Kinmoza is that it has a god-tier character, Karen, while all the other characters are boring as fuck, with maybe Aya being somewhat salvageable. There's not a lot you can say about Shino, or Yoko. Alice had potential, but it's wasted.

Karen was pretty well memed, but she's the only good character in that show which is the entire problem of KinMoza, the cast.

It's literally the best CGDCT show right after Lucky Star. The rabbits are clearly a couple ranks lower. Even New Game was better.

It was pretty borderline for me but for the most part was a CGDCT with idol stufff so I included it

That's true, but the reason is simple: it's not as good as those other two. I absolutely loved the first season but the second one was vastly inferior.

Second season > first season

New characters and the gay only increased.

I don't remember it enough to discuss it in details, but the humor wasn't as good as S1. Also I like yuri, be it undertones or actual romance, but Aya moved from being one of my all-time favorite character to being nearly insufferable with her one-sided crush over Youko.

At least you're right on that one. Every episode was like a fucking season finale with all the drama it shoved down your throat.

The comedy feels the same to me and it's true that Aya didn't advance much but Shino/Alice and Karen/Honoka make for it.

S1 was fucking amazing but I wasn't really feeling S2.

It's probably bottom of the pile in my CGDCT rankings only because others are way more funnier which adds so much more to the show.

I don't understand why you want to put it in this list. It's basically SZS with different characters, a higly referencial comedy with a lot of word play. And the setting is almost always the backstage of the rakugo theater, we barely see anything of the girls' life and they're making jokes like 100% of the time.

If you take off all the idol parts, it would be a good CGDCT, unfortunately it has the idol parts, so it's not.

She did advance but in the wrong direction.

The idol part is the gimmick of the show like making a club.
