Manga gets licensed

>manga gets licensed
>scanlation dies
>discussion dies
Every fucking time.

Something I was interested in recently got picked up by Seven Seas. Am I fucked, or have they changed from all those horrible stories I heard?

I'm already fucked in the sense of the first volume coming out 6 months after the french release for some reason, but I don't know if the quality will also be awful.

Murcielago got licensed?

yes, thats why there hasn't been any updates

At least it's not Yen Press.

>no more updates for dumb edgy fun manga starring cute tall girls
this sucks

RIP Dragons Rioting

>manga gets licensed
>scanlation stops
>licensed manga takes months to come out since there is very low sales
>licensed manga stops
>everything is over
Thanks VIZ THANKS EVERYONE

>Sup Forums only reads and discusses things if it is free

lol

And no, don't pull the 'hurr I have to wait for the fucking volumes to come out'.

There are several series that release by chapter digitally but you all still beg for people to buy it and link it for you.

>manga gets licensed
>scanlation dies
>discussion gets better

More manga should be licensed.

Discussion disappears unless people release scans, stop lying.

How is waiting SIX MONTHS for something not a problem?

>lol
Fuck off.

user...

If you look at the bright side, that frees up scanlator manpower for picking up other shit.

Now THAT explains why discussion died ;_;

Well, at least Goblin Slayer gets people dumping the YP chapters and the Dungeon meshi scanslators don't give a fuck.

why dont they just release it on lower quality paper and hire good translators? if some 2 schlubs cant translate a chapter within 24 hours someone being paid for it should take no time

a lot of the time a translator/raw provider is only interested in one series, so if thats gone they just disappear from the scene.

Why would they do that? Do you think these companies want to make money or something?

Will this ever get an anime adaptation? Fuck I hope so.

Mangoes are still a bit niche. Cheapening them would do little to attract casual normalfags and owwtawcoos would get buttblasted the cheapskate publisher's release didn't do justice to their big boy nipponese graphic novels and write shit reviews.

Yeah, I dropped doing scanlations after I got sniped, then that idiot dropped it when it got licensed. It is nice to have more free time.

The name tho... Is Lambo as jewish at licensing as Ferrari?

Isn't it also just like, an Italian word? I'd look it up but... I'm pretty lazy. I mean I wouldn't be surprised if there was huge issues with the name, but even if there was I'd imagine they could just tweak the anime title or something

Thank you for doing them at all, I ended up liking this series quite a lot. And I thought it was gonna be horseshit when I first read the description to be honest

>word? I'd look it up but... I'm pretty lazy. I mean I wouldn't be surprised if there was huge issues with the name, but even if there was I'd imagine they could just tweak the anime title or something
Well, it's "bat" in spanish... they could go all JDM and call it "NSX" lmao.

I picked it up after someone namedropped it and saw the tags on bakaupdates.

Apparently it's Spanish for "bat." There was a famous fighting bull with the name, and then Lamborghini took the name from that bull.

Good. Now license everything else so we can finally be free.
