Is Sora no Woto a masterpiece?
Is Sora no Woto a masterpiece?
Yes, unless normalfags start to like it, in which case it's shit.
Yes, Absolutely.
Yep. Wish there was more merchandise for it.
For a work to be a "Masterpiece" is for it to be inferior to all future works made by the Journeyman-recently-made-master. Indeed, in actuality, the term is a pejorative; it implies a longing for something that will never come, i.e. the eponymous master is incapable of topping his masterpiece. In a sense, this means he is a hack, and his piece is the result of a common man's extensive efforts, no sign of true talent forthcoming. Though this is an unfactual interpretation of the world, suggesting that talent exists is an insult in and of itself, and suggesting the lack of something which does not exist is an insult in the realm of fiction, implying the master is actually delusional.
I would instead call this show a MasterWork.
Thinking man's haibane renmei
Where can I get a cute army outfit like this?
masterpiss yeah
How can you make an OVA like that and then not make a second season
That should be illegal, man
Yes.
Seems like the creators really wanted to make more.
Yeah, I'm holding out hope for the 10 year anniversary but it's probably not gonna happen
Still mad about Kanata's scale being cancelled.
comrades, dis best soviet anime. is good show and worth many potatoes
>That one time that user asked about a continuation at a panel
>He didn't realise they gave him a complete non-answer until anons pointed it out
learn to sew, I'll be tooting you on.
>masterpiece
>Wish there was more merchandise
These threads are getting a little too frequent and too blatant. Makes me wonder how many of the threads in Sup Forums are actually advertisements.
I do have a very suitable sewing machine laying around.
But I absolutely lack any sort of knowledge about sewing and clothes.
this is the only recent anime where I always listen to the intro
youtube.com
No. But the OST surely is
Yeah we're all totally shilling this 7 year old sequelless anime
It's the drinking man's Haibane Renmei.
Yes it's 9/10 show.
youtube.com
The ED is even better.
>You're just my friend
;_;
...
Rio is a masterpiece.
Yes, a masterpiece of shit.
Wow, that is just absolutely rude.
Yes.
And then I can't bring myself to play the game, it's so boring
With a 10/10 OST.
I felt reminded of it a few days ago, but couldn't recall its title.
So probably not.
Masterpieces don't need sequels.
Have you prayed to at least one of the 8 million gods today, Sup Forums?
Was it rape?
That 90s OP feel.
No. They had an interesting setting, but failed to do something great with it. 7-8/10 at best.
No, it's only circlejerked in here. If you want a real masterpiece you have Haibane Renmei though.
You know the answer.
I really can't decide between it being misleading garbage or a masterpiece desu.
You could argue that the whole setting and world building is fucking pointless.
What this rape?
I prayed to the god of vodka.
>Yes, unless normalfags start to like it, in which case it's shit.
Yes but also no but mostly yes.
You Joe
I Joe
Speaking of which, is there the instrumental version Servante de Feu to be found somewhere? The original is awesome but I loved the version with flute instead of vocals, too.
You could buy a German M36 uniform as base and work from there.
10/10 qt. Such a shame that she has to spend her life in celibate as a nun.
It's not even a good show
With a bottle of Calvados any problem can be solved.
>Such a shame that she has to spend her life in celibate as a nun.
/u/ doesn't count.
No, it was self defence
It was ok-meh, definately not a masterpiece...not even close.
...
it's not, it has poor direction of photography, if you can still call it direction of photography in an anime, and it doesn't do anything particularly new, it's not innovative, and it deals superficially with stuff like trauma from past experiences
it's still honestly really so very good
Yes and no. It's far from perfect, but it definitely deserves to be remembered as fondly as it is.
It wasn't, but it was a great time watching it with Sup Forums.
