Goku's Gi looks better than the EoZ Gi

Golden Oozaru

Pan

Omega and Nuova Shenron were cool.

The theme song

The part where Vegeta gets murdered over his mustache

the end makes me cry.

the way it captured some of the old Dragon Ball feel...granted it's jarring as fuck coming off of DBZ but still.

and Best Girl.

Dr. Myou and the Machine Mutants being Cell's improvements on bio-android technology used to create him, tethering the entire franchise together
>"GERO! GERO!" - every machine mutant ever
Japanese foreshadowing is best foreshadowing

the stache

Serious ramifications for using the Dragon Balls so much

Super saiyan 4, Baby Vegeta, Pan's Design and her personality some of the time, Kid Goku being back, 18's design, the fact that Goten had a life, Marron's design, Mr Satan's design and role, Gohan and Videl's designs and the fact that they kept their personalities, Super 17's fight was interesting even if the premise was stupid, Super 17's outfit, Dan Dan Kokoro, the ED music too, Vegeta's clothes though not his hair, Slutty 8-year-old bra, some of the evil Shenrons, the attempt it made to go back to Dragon Ball roots even if it only had partial success, the Spaceship, Giru's design.

Unlike a lot of people though, I thought the ending was dumb and didn't like it.

The characters were consistently drawn on model.

>Unlike a lot of people though, I thought the ending was dumb and didn't like it.

Saiyan Empire seals Buu's negative energy away, creating Shenron and Omega-Shenron

Goku destroys the negative energy with the Cosmic Spirit Bomb, freeing Shenron

GT ending is best ending, fuck you

Easy, the soundtrack.

The opening.

Unique and honestly great concept for the ending (almost seemed a little too experimental and sincere for such a shitty series.)

Opening theme was pretty great.

Animation overall was consistent and on-model. (The actual fights however were absolute garbage)

>buus negative energy
???
>creates shenron
???

Not even sure if this happened or not.

>liking SSJ4

PAN A CUTE

It's better than Dragon Ball Super.

Unironically agree so far.

top tier opening and ending (openign better than chala head chala)

This.

I like the delicious tanned shota Goku.

...

The concept of mixing DB adventure but in space with DBZ fights

>It's better than Super
>Teenage Trunks
>Dat heavy metal riffing
>Dragon balls being corrupted from over wishing was a great concept
>Momma Bulma

...

ssj4 was a nice change of pace from hair gets longer/changes color

I can list several.

>Opening theme
>Expanded lore on the Saiyans before being ruled by Freeza
>Last episode was actually pretty good
>SSJ4

God tier opening

...

The ending farewell scene will never be topped by anything canon

Goku not going full retard like in Super.
youtu.be/DJcuDgVYjgI

The concept of evil dragons makes sense and built upon Old Kai's warning about over using Dragonballs.
The gap between Goku and Vegeta was pretty small in the end, the end of Z had Vegeta completely out of Goku's league until SSG was retconned in.
The idea of going on a galactic journey was cool, it just should have involved the entire cast instead of just Goku, Pan and Trunks.
Super 17 fight was cool until the ending.

WELCOME TO THE GRAND TOUR (GRAND TOUR GRAND TOUR)

DRAGON BALL GT

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Super Saiyan 4

The concept of Majuub

The brazilian opening was perfect.
SSJ4 design was pretty cool, I guess.
I actually liked Pan and the beta Trunks.

piccolo saying goodbye to gohan and calling him son was poignant

>Super 17 fight was cool until the ending.
Really? I thought the ending was the best thing about it.

>Timeskip Trunks was likable
>The main trio had good designs
>The idea of a galactic journey in vein of the Pilaf saga was a solid one, even if the Black Star Dragon Balls make no fucking sense and the execution was embarassing
>I'm happy Piccolo got some kind of resolution to his story even if it was sloppy and rushed as hell
>The opening is fucking great

That's basically it. I didn't even like SS4

>Meanwhile, in Super
>Piccolo is Bulma and Chichi's illegal alien gardener

>Had a comfy feeling in general.
>Felt more like DB than Super
>Top 3 opening
>Art direction is better than Super
Super looks ugly as fuck, too clean.

>opening theme
>adventuring across the universe in search for the dragon balls
>pan in general
>fire and ice dragons
>gogeta ssj4 design and bog bang kamehameha
>sayian tail is back
>milf bulma helping vegeta achieve ssj4

I really liked how they retconned it.

A cute bulge.

The slice of life episodes. Whole show should have been one big super hero parody with high school comedy.

The idea that using the dragon balls was having consequences this entire time all throughout DB and Z was great

>pan in general
This, she was so fucking cute

You mean Base Kid Goku>Super Saiyan 4?

That's not what was established, Super 17 was distracted when Goku went through him with the Dragon Fist.

The only reason Super Saiyan 4 Goku didn't destroy him earlier was because he kept absorbing Goku's attacks.

Don't meme, user. Kid Goku wasn't stronger, but he noticed 17 needed to do a specific pose to absorb ki blasts. So while 18 and her infinite energy pelted him with blasts, goku ran him through since he couldn't defend.

So not only did they beat an opponent with brains instead of brawn, but it also gave 18 a real opportunity to shine.

I like the fact that there was a villain named Baby and everybody took him seriously. I find that kinda funny.

As a fan of the original DB over the Z saga I deeply enjoyed the first arc and the Black dragons arc. It had a real sense of adventure but it's evident that they had to changed a lot of things on the go because of the backslash from the dbz fans.

The ending theme is on par with romance ageruyo IMO.

>teenage
He was an adult in GT.

...

Pan is best girl and Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku is a fantastic opening.

I actually did not like SSJ4.

Tsufurians, technically they're from Z filler
Oozaru Super Saiyan, technically that's from Z filler

It's over and done with.

>No naked Pan
This is some bullshit.

The fact that it's not Super.

It got cancelled.

Good opening theme. Good ending themes.

It's how Dragon Ball should have ended.

>Hard mode: No SSJ4
That was the worst part.

This desu. Going back to roshi's island to say bye was great.

Dan Dan
Some of the characters and designs
Japanese OST
Bra
Shadow Dragon arc calling out the cast for overusing the Dragon Balls
Said arc in general. I always feel exhausted watching it from start to finish, feeling Goku's fatigue kicking in with Nouva and Shenron intervening to revive him after Omega killed just to save the universe
Last episode
The fact that people still get butthurt over anyone mentioning it

uhh..............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................videl's still a tomboy in a way

Super 17 is a fucking cutie.

...

I liked the concept of being on a grand search for the dragon balls again. With DBZ they were just a fix-it button that could be used whenever needed most of the time, and didn't really amount to much after Frieza.

I also liked the idea of having to search for them throughout space. I was always disappointed with how Z introduced the universe and then made it feel really small by having it revolve around one planet (Namek) and then introducing the strongest guy in the universe right away.

Finally, I liked the idea that there were consequences to using the dragon balls so much. At that point they were just casually used for the most mundane of things, so the final arc being about the abuse of them was a nice way to tie things up.

Simply put, GT had a lot of great ideas but poorly executed them. In retrospect, after seeing Super, it wasn't all that bad, it just wasn't all that great. And really, you could probably say the same thing for DBZ.

Oh and Golden Oozaru was cool and something that seems like it should have been a thing anyway. SS4 was dumb though.

The black dragon ball retrieval arc somewhat recaptured original DB's tone of sprawling adventures.

Pan and associated Panservice.
Goku's gi.
I liked the tail.

The fatigue is a pretty cool thing GT did. From Super 17 to the finale of the Shadow Dragon saga, there was next to no real downtime, just a constant slog of battle after battle that actually wore the characters down.

As always, Piccolo and Mr. Satan were the best characters in any scenes they were in.

I enjoyed the group when they were searching for the dragon balls.
I felt Goku/Trunks/Pan had a pretty good dynamic going on.
It kinda fell apart later in the series though.

The opening and ending themes.

The execution of some ideas were terrible, but some ideas were good.

Even Chi Chi was fine. That bitch wanted to help in the last 2 arcs instead of screaming.

Baby was a pretty cool villain.

Better villains than Z. Baby had legitimate reasons for hating the saiyans instead of being another "grr me big bad so me do big bad things" like with Frieza or Cell and was therefore more interesting, and I liked the idea of the dragon balls themselves being the final boss.

Kid Goku is more matured than Goku in Super, Videl has a personality, Trunks is relevant without the need to force him into a romance with a shitty character, Goten's girlfriend is cute as fuck, Chi Chi isn't a cunt, the designs don't suck as much as they do in Super.
GT's ending was pretty nice.

...

Baby was an interesting character and his saga was slightly above average.

That's a lot of positive praise. How can Super even compete?

Pic related is more than enough to be better than Super.

/thread
came here to post that

...

...

Pan was a semi hot loli who gave us good porn.

...

The concept that the Dragon Balls could get sick of being overused as a get-out-of-jail plot device and turn corrupt.

Nothing

The music was fucking great. I can't believe the ost was never officially released.

You shut the fuck up about mai.
Otherwise I don't disagree.

Karma Tatsuro's Pan is best pan.

Super Saiyan 4 was cool. Baby was actually an interesting villain, Super 17 had a cool design. All the intros and credits had good songs too.

character designs, story making sense

I liked dadgeta and fuckboy goten.

Kid Goku was kind of cool.
