I like when Hanabi sang Sambomaster in EP2
Yes, we can.
>inb4 reeeee newfags
Fuck you, learn to have fun on your Taiwanese sweatshop board.
Here's some favorites:
>Naruto Opening 6: youtube.com
>Bleach Opening 5: youtube.com
>Death Note Opening 1: youtube.com
>Fullmetal Alchemist (original) opening 4: youtube.com
>Code Geass R2 opening 3: youtube.com
There's a lot more that I want to post, but I'll cut it here for now.
Holy fuck that is one of the worst OPs I have ever seen. Nice.
The OST is better
youtube.com
I didn't even mean the music- the video portion is just so godawful I had to say something.
God this thread is fucking awful. I hate Sup Forums.
Posting an oldie but goodie
>nostalga thread
>starts with fucking nurutu.
thread is shit
Despite all the things I dislike about Naruto, I gotta give them props for having some real nice OP's and ED's
youtube.com
>friend played this to me over the phone back in 2006
>thought it sounded stupid
>ended up being my favorite naruto opening
>11 years later still know the lyrics to that first intro part by heart
Nothing more cancerous than the Naruto OP soammer.
Nostalgic ED but I'll post it anyway
youtube.com
From the first Taimanin Asagi title
You know it

Rewrite is literally 00s: The Opening, always makes me nostalgy hard
Anything that has Asian Kung-Fu Generation gives me a nostalgia boner
Wish they did more OPs
This show was pretty awful and forgettable but the OP is OK.
>Despite all the things I dislike about Naruto, I gotta give them props for having some real nice OP's and ED's
It's the best thing about the show by far. Every now and again I find myself wanting to go back and rewatch some key moments of the show, then I stop when I remember how long and drawn out the arcs are, even when there's minimal filler present. That's when I turn to the OP's and ED's, which are essentially a raw infusion of the good parts of that show, with all the bad cut out, and then set to music on top of that to make it even more impactful. Every few months I go back and indulge in a few of that show's best openings and endings, and I always leave feeling a bit better than I did when I started.
I don't even remember what happened lol
To be fair he said nostalgic not 'good'.
>You seem to be trying to shitpost with 'Vintage Cringe'.
>Would you like some help with that?
>youtube.com
It's been so long since I watched Hellsing that I forgot what it sounded like at all. It's still pretty good.
...
In recent memory this Naruto OP from Shippuden
youtube.com
absolutely blew me away.
Funny how Naruto still has good OPs
They're still doing 'em. Look forward to more in the coming years, 'cause they're not going anywhere
youtube.com
Also, if you don't happen to know, they have a pretty good Pandora channel. I'd suggest checking it out.
Why was early 00's anime music so rock focused?
Let's get some love for this one
youtube.com
true nostalgia here
japan is like a decade behind music trends in the west
One of the first series I ever watched.
If naruto was a musical ova it would be really good. If they wouldn't have adapted only 2 chapters for every 1 episode it would've felt better.
youtube.com
This one came out when I was 12 or 13 maybe. Good times (not really seventh grade was fucking awful)
That ED always made me sad because it almost looks like Bulma is growing up in it
Honorable mention when it comes to DB OPs and EDs
I feel like that's a good thing. I probably wouldn't find metal as enjoyable if rock wasn't as common as it was when I was younger
I absolutely love the choreography in OP 9
Let's ride the wind, boys!
That makes me want to finish Shippuden. I think I'm gonna do it.
Oh shit, Onizuka, maximum nostalgia overload incoming.

I never knew that was porno graffiti when I first heard OP 2 but according to GTO, I've been a fan of theirs for a long while.
think of how many anime you could watch instead in the same amount of time
>not CHERRY BLOSSOM CHERRY BLOSSOM
Same here, was quite surprised.
Don't listen to this fag
Do it
Here's some real nostalgia
youtube.com
No love for Azumanga Daioh?
youtube.com
youtube.com
>randomly come back to thread
>randomly start making flcl ending sounds
>wew that sure brings back memory why hasn't anyone posted ye-
nice
Will never not love the pillows
If you do actually do that, just make sure you skip all fillers. That will kill a run faster than anything else. I've been watching that show for most of my life, and it's torture, but I can't make myself stop.
Even if season 2 sucks the pillows will make it worth it
Example of some taste here.

Meh, these were always better for me

Meant to post this one instead of Azumanga Daioh
>Bleach Ending 27
Jesus, user, I didn't expect to feel bad for someone when I came into this thread. Don't get me wrong, the song and animation are fine, but I'm sorry that you chose to stick with Bleach for that long. I hope you were at least able to enjoy it, even once Aizen was dealt with and Kubo had no fucking idea what to do with the plot anymore.
Bleach I feel had the pinnacle of all OP and EDs. Too bad it hit the shitter.
And also this
Welcome to the mid 2000s.
Everything had to be hip hop, rap, graffiti, sunset overdrive punk rock shit.
I'm glad you did though

>tfw never even watched Love Hina
>just read the manga and owned a ton of clips that I found online
I probably wouldn't like it if I watched it now, so it's best to just stick to the OST and OP/EDs for nostalgia. Winter Wish is still great.
SHARP LIKE AN EDGE OF A SAMURAI SWORD
Love Hina was shit then and is shit now.
But that fucking opening notes won't leave my head if I tried.
Yeah, but when it's done well
>Bleach I feel had the pinnacle of all OPs and EDs
This is just one of my favorite songs in general, anime or not:
We need more Lo-Fi anime OPs
This thread is hurting more than it should.

Let's not forget this masterpiece
This was a good OP too
youtube.com
youtube.com
For some reason the second OP and ED of Haruhi always struck me as way more nostalgic than the first OP and ED, maybe because Endless Eight was so memorable I guess? I was one of those madmen who watched all of Endless Eight without skipping a second of it, and it wasn't as bad as it was made out to be if I'm being honest.
It's only going to get worse
youtube.com
M3 gets shit on but it had fantastic OP and EDs.

Air and Onegai Twins OPs make me wish it was summer already
youtube.com
Well it was a show with super high visibility. A lot of good bands got the chance to do the OP. Makes sense you'd end up with some really good music there.
>maybe because Endless Eight was so memorable I guess?
Yea, I remember everyone getting bottom befuddled by week three. Good times.
>I was one of those madmen who watched all of Endless Eight without skipping a second of it
You're made of stronger stuff than me, friend.
If we're going down this route, it's time for these warheads.
Damn it. Now I want to go back and watch the show again.
Might not ring a bell to everyone:
>02
OP what the hell
