Why are there so many ecchi anime but no proper H anime with actual, longer storylines?

Why are there so many ecchi anime but no proper H anime with actual, longer storylines?

Where do I look if I want a story with sex in it rather than sex with a story slapped onto the side besides VNs?

It probably doesn't sell. Would you buy such anime?

The watermark in the webm should show you how filthy I am when it comes to such things user.

Thats what VN's exist for

Why do you download from kissanime?
Are you too stupid for torrents or too afraid?

No I just record the player and make a webm from that rather than download it and cut out the part I want. It wasn't downloaded.

More like too lazy for torrents. In cases when kissanime has absolutely shit quality I'll download what I want to watch.

>too lazy
You can automate your downloads. All it takes is a few clicks. With horriblesubs delivering pretty much everything (and reliably too), it's easier than ever.

I don't really watch the latest hottest shows anyway. So automating new episodes isn't going to help. I want to finish a series before moving on most of the time and I don't get excited about cliffhangers and waiting another week.

But then why would torrenting be difficult?
You add the batch to your torrent client with 3 clicks and then you do two more clicks so that the first episode finishes first.

Sauce on that series, OP?

WAIT works.

It's not difficult. Just more difficult than watching it right then and there in the browser where you would click "download" rather than "play now."

Why download the series anyway if the stream quality is good enough though? I already said I download if the quality really doesn't cut it.

Koe de Oshigoto

>Just more difficult than watching it right then and there
Granted. It's a few clicks more. But then you get a lot of freedom once you have the file. You can watch it whenever you want, and skip back and forth without any problems. You don't need a running internet connection to watch, and you won't be in trouble when kissanime is down again. (and people won't make a topic of the origin of your screenshots and webms)

My internet isn't shit user. I can already watch it whenever I want and (ok sure) mostly skip back and forth with no problems. But going back and forth is such a non issue I can overlook it. If the video moves forward without issues that's good.

If Kissanime or any other streaming site goes down then I'll just change how I get my shows out of necessity and for making a topic on where it comes from. There's always cropping and letting people be smug about their superior tastes while ignoring it. It's been very civil this time anyway.

I'm not trying to say that streaming is objectively better here. But after having both downloaded and streamed I'm pretty content with staying with streams for the time being.

>My internet isn't shit user.
Mine wasn't either. But a year ago my internet provider just fucked up big time and I was cut off from the internet for an entire month before I switched to another ISP. If I didn't have an extensive library I would have been fucked.

I watch a handful of shows a year user. I spend far more time playing video games than I do watching cartoons. I get burnt out too easily so if I have to wait for one, two or four months until next time I get to see anime it wouldn't really bother me. I have the patience it's fine.

Just a little semi related thing. I've noticed I am far easier entertained when I don't have the internet to help me. Lots of offline things last longer when there isn't a constant stream of new shit vying for attention. The most boring thing when I had to wait about two months to get my internet installed in my last apartment was not keeping in touch with people.

>Where do I look

Try pornhub. No I'm serious, there's loads of them uploaded there, some are real shows with stories.

>Lots of offline things last longer when there isn't a constant stream of new shit vying for attention.
Words of wisdom.

look into the older OVA stuff, pre-2000. newer hentai has NO STORY whatsoever but the older stuff does.
you can probably find some good lists if you search google. words worth is probably my #1, I even played the VN.

I've heard people got fined or arrested from streaming Kissanime and downloading from Nyaa. It's not worth the risk since I'm too paranoid.

>I've heard
If I were you, I'd check my sources.

urotsukidoji

Most pre-2000s hentai was heavily story driven.

Having no story is a relatively recent trend.

What's the source of this, girls getting close to orgasm without touching themselves is my fetish

Admittedly, those sources were from MAL, Reddit (I know, but still), and Anime Animo. I know they're illegal, but I was worried if torrents were illegal in the "fined and thrown in jail" sense.

You do know how streams work right? If they allegedly got fined or arrested from streaming you'd get fined for downloading because it's the same shit. Where do you think the temporary file that plays when you stream goes?

It seems like every hentai animation released in the last few years has been mostly vanilla shit. What happened to companies like Pixy? I can't get off unless I see girls getting violated by tentacles and gross monsters

most hentais are shit anyways, censored, panders too many fetishes at once, retarded director choices, shitty human anatomy..

Generally, you are safe when streaming, no matter what you stream. No one is going to bother with you because your crime is so low-tier that it's just not worth the paper to send you a letter. [exceptions would be stuff like child porn]
Torrenting anime is 99.999% safe.
It's extremely difficult for Japan to pursue these things, and localizing companies generally just don't care enough.
Going with sites like nyaa (rather than normalfag sites) means you are extra safe because with smaller numbers there is even less risk of persecution.
It's not absolutely safe, but it's safe enough.

I bet you also use VLC

Because the plot-laden hentai never sold well. Or, at least, not well enough to keep the studio up and running.

See: Wordsworth, Bible Black.

And some directors only injected hentai in as a hook to sell their ovas. Unfortunately by removing the h scenes now he just makes SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIT like Wizard Barristers (making the final episode nothing but the lawyers & detective getting dicked by Satan would've saved it.)

Are they actually what I'm talking about though? I would love to have a regular 12 ep series where the sex isn't the focus but is still explicit. It could happen in the last four episodes for all that I care.

Read the thread.

It makes sense to have the most normal sex in the majority of shows user.

That's because sex is generally boring.

Haven't had any problems with it so far

>tfw there will NEVER be a hentai anime as well animated as Bible Black ever again

>There won't even be a hentai as well animated as Milky productions ever again

...

Yes but why can't a romance anime have an actual climax as the climax to the story?

Then you can watch from your phone.

I don't have a phone because I don't have a life.

I wouldn't even mind ecchi if they could tease properly. There are a couple short ecchi series that I fap to just as much as hentai. But it's mostly just the same old shit every time

I don't mind if it's short scene heavily implying characters involved had sex, but why would anyone want to watch them having sex for few minutes?

If you want a hentai with good plot you might as well just go play a h-vn.

>besides VNs

Play a LN then.

The worst thing about ecchi series' is the dramatic tonal shifts. Any other anime I could tolerate it, but most ecchi shows have 12 episodes total, 10 of which are pure fun and fucking around before introducing the main villain all of a sudden and doing a complete 180.

Is there any reason why those are not just called books?

Watch kite. But it might be too hard on you.

LN is a depreciating term. LNs are lowlevel books.

They look like written by 12 yo Harry Potter fan.

For the same reason Anime is called Anime and not cartoon.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes is an LN.

There were h-anime series with length comparable to a single cours TV-series. You haven't looked hard enough.

So is Kino no Tabi.
I don't think LNs are inherently bad. But the Japanese do.

inb4
>Oni ChiChi

Is it bad that I want to read both the manga nad LN of Welcome to the NHK?

Fuck off and kill yourself.

Daiakuji is the longest one I remember.

Why would it be?

Old LN are fine but most of the new ones are shit.

I'm not claiming it is. Maybe can elaborate for us both.

Sometimes talented writers find ways to reveal new sides to the characters' personalities through showing them at their most private and vulnerable moments like in sex scenes.

it's been awhile since I watched the OP, but why is she using her cell phone to check her pussy again? She of course FELT that she almost came, heck, she wouldn't even need her cell camera if she just wanted visual confirmation

There aren't a lot of scenes like that in Welcome to the NHK tough. As far as I can remember, they show Satou smoking crack once or twice and that's it.

But you don't need to show the whole thing for that.

Pretty the post you replied to didn't have to do with NHK.

You're not going to get in trouble for downloading anime. Hollywood movies, popular music and expensive software is what will get you in trouble, and even then its a really slim chance. Nyaa is a lot less sketchy than most mainstream torrent sites.

>even then its a really slim chance.
Depends on where you download it from.

Well shit. Time to kill myself I guess.

Depends on how the writer does it. Dialogue and body language during the act can reveal a lot. And it doesn't have to be graphic. Internal anatomical cross-sections of the penis ejaculating into the vagina don't help the psychological depiction much.

I would really like to see more romances with sex scenes, particularly with those characters who are so awkward and innocent with each other that it's hard to imagine how they make that leap. Seeing how characters discover a fundamental part of the human experience like sexuality for the first time would add some interesting depth to them.

Anime is already a niche product, it makes money by being part of a larger advertising machine. It whores out its characters for ads and merchandise. The main reason it's able to do this is because production committees formed by advertisers, merchandise manufacturers, publishers, etc are willing to invest money in an anime that potentially millions of customers will see on TV or other mainstream media platforms.

Guess what can't be shown on MSM? Porn. There goes like 90% of your funding right there. They see no point in investing in something that only a very small number of people will see, not to mention that Japan has very strict laws about how adult material can be sold in the first place which would probably affect merch sales.

I remember a hentai where tutors moved in with this boy and each episode was him trying to seduce each one. It was a harem anime with a competent mc

also one where some guy moved into an apartment building where only prostitutes like lived there. that was pretty good too

I don't think there are really any 12 ep hentai series where sex isn't the focus.

Just 1-6 ep OVA series really.
