The prophet claims in the Quran that Jesus was not crucified by the Roman governor Pilate and resurrected, but instead ascended to heaven after his mission was complete. However, historical accounts from before Muhammad's birth support the crucifixion narrative. Why do you believe in the prophet's account of events instead of the accounts from witnesses and scholars after Jesus' death?
