>You can't drive anywhere between 7am and 10am and 3:30pm and 7:00pm.
people here are pretty idiotic with their living choices in all fairness. you work in DTLA and choose to live in the Valley? guess what you're spending a lot of time in your car.
>parking is a hassle, meters, vouchers, garages, tickets
yeah whatever, it depends, but life is much easier with uber now, and transit is growing.
>lines at the grocery store

>people everywhere

>noise all the time

>no wild nature
you're kidding right?
>multicultural distrust
i'll give you that.
>status seeking sycophants fueled by celebrity culture
i'll also give you that, people are fucking horrible here
>housing is really expensive for what you get
also true...don't expect to own a house in/around LA city.
>helicopters flying overhead all the time
this bothers people?
>a wrong turn off the wrong freeway exit and you're Sherman McCoy
huh?
>Hard to find down home cooking
define "down home cooking"
>air quality sucks
somewhat true but not as bad as other places in CA
>degenerate ads and billboards everywhere

>de facto leftist haven
literally cannot feel the effect of leftists in this city unless i read LA Times comments sections. nobody on the streets or in real life cares about politics. everyone is too passe to get actively involved.
it's really not that bad a place to live. good and bad. people forget it's the 2nd largest city on the planet i think and expect some sort of suburban experience, but no matter where you go you're in the thick of it.
