Captain Earth

This is the most underrated Bones series and easily better than Star Driver.
Discuss.

nope

Hana was great brown

Keijo isn't Bones silly.

You know this is not true. Stop shilling your stupid show.

Earth Engine? More like Job Engine. A fucking boomerang solved more problems.

I enjoyed it. It was clearly aimed at young teens without any big drama or character deaths, but the animation and girls were great.

And like all good shows it has a few nice milfs.

>shilling
Go back to Sup Forums.
The Earth Engine being slow, awkward to use and easily broken compared to the magic and ultra nimble Kill T Gang was the best part.
Finally landing the hit was more satisfactory.

>It was clearly aimed at young teens
>aired at night
Nope.

It was late night unlike Star Driver.

Or you know, saying 'fuck that,' pulling the power source out of the Earth Engine and just shooting them with that.

Would you let them suck your libido dry?

I liked the alien antagonists and the four main characters were also fun to watch

That corporate faction was unnecessary though

That was also good. Like the reverse docking at the end and the final blow dealt with the livelasters alone.
The engines only serve to channel the libido after all.

I feel the same way.

Amarok, Malkin, Bugbear and the princess were good, the other ones had too little development. At least the idol had some purpose unlike the two left. But Puck was the most entertaining.
Salty Dog was just classic Enokido. Old people that don't believe in the youth and would rather perpetuate their power by keeping humanity in a stasis.

Yeah i remember the motorbike chick only appear twice or so

Too bad because their designs were good, and i wanted to see more of them instead of bunch of fat old men talking to each other

Undeveloped characters, shit pacing, retarded yet predictable ending with one of the most cookie-cutter, shitty villain plots. It's not even in the same league as Star Driver, and Star Driver turns to shit towards the end as well.

>...and easily better than Star Driver at putting you to sleep.

ftfy

Lush production values but pretty uninteresting as a whole. Since you mentions SD, Takuto by himself was already more entertaining than the 4 mcs of Planet Snooze put together.

It had excellent characters, but it didn't do much with them.

This guy was a gary stu self-insert though

It was boring garbage and I don't know why I finished it.
SD was more entertaining

>Undeveloped characters
CE has less of this problem than SD really.
>shit pacing
No? Or are you allergic to MotW? SD should bother you as well then.
>retarded yet predictable ending with one of the most cookie-cutter, shitty villain plots
Attaining eternity is a common goal to Enokido's villains, the redemption of the Kill T Gangs made perfect sense and the overall execution was excellent, with even an homage to Diebuster.

Many shows for young teens are getting played in late night now like kurokos basketball. Primetime is pretty much only for the elementary school set with the exception of gundam.

He was pure entertainment and had presence, which is what counts. Besides, he was trained to be good at the shit he did. I was looking forward to his antics, which is more than I can say for the 4 from PE.

>Many shows for young teens are getting played in late night now like kurokos basketball.
Because that show is actually for fujos, not for kids.

This

His energy made him fun to watch but he was a static, one note character. The only serious relationship he had, the one with his father, was barely addressed.
Honestly I liked more Hana's relationship with Akari's mother, Teppei's monologue to Akari, Daichi's talk with his uncle.

...

What was his (her?) endgame?

The 3ds game

>be mahou shoujo
>never get your own cute animal mascot

life is unfair

also Hana was like an even sexier brown girl than eureka AO. someone at BONES had a BONE while working on character designs for those shows.

Explain.

I was making a bad joke about the fact that they announced a game as the anime was ending. Pretty sure nobody has translated the game

He was the mascot

Only the main heroines get a rodent on their shoulder

Captain Earth started off good but after the first third it was just unbearable to watch. Also, the villians' mechas looked like shit

The villains princess had one as well.

But the first third was the worst part.

Nano desu was the main heroine of the bad guys

So its ok

just no

...

...

He really wasn't. Takuto's behavior was highly unusual and he had his own motivations driving him (his dad).

>yfw Albion was likely her knight and she got cucked by the redhead

>most underrated Bones series
Alright.

Albion/Teppei had a harem, so it's not a surprise.

Does this take place in another mind labyrinth or something? Or it's set after the series?

This was just terrible.
Only redeeming factors were the semen demons and the trap MC.

Yes

I'd say it was better than Captain Earth if you actually watched all of both.

Captain Earth tanked hard in its second half whereas Heroman steadily improved by introducing a larger cast.

...

...

It's not hard to do mecha right.

Everything that went wrong with Captain Earth was just because Bones can't write for shit

...

Amarok is there so I assume it's the former?
CE got better in the second half. Heroman just has writing so abysmal it can't even compete, it feels like it was written for preschoolers.

those guys were way too gay

Everyone was brought back, including Amarok. But the game is Mind Labyrinth. I think you can choose to play as hero guy or rainbow guy.

CE was written by Enokido, one of the best writers the industry has ever seen.

Redhead even called them boyfriends. It's Enokido. He loves his bisexuality and open relationships.

Then why the fuck did he not develop the main villains and why the fuck did he waste so much time on Salty Dog and why the fuck did they give Hana an Engine when she was just going to pilot the ship?

>Everyone was brought back, including Amarok.
I know but Amarok leaves at the end.
And he's still the killer of Daichi's dad so that scenario would be unlikely.

Its called Mind Labyrinth
So yeah

t. Akari

Pretty sure she called it "bromance"

Dont try to gay it up

>Then why the fuck did he not develop the main villains
5/8 of them were developed.
>and why the fuck did he waste so much time on Salty Dog
>and why the fuck did they give Hana an Engine when she was just going to pilot the ship?
To sell more toys.

>it "bromance"
No, she said koibito.

>Better than StarDriver.
Never utter such dross again.

Samekh > any moment in CE.

Akari said they were in love with each other. Where the hell did you take the bromance stuff? Enokido always does this. It doesn't mean Hana and Akari aren't their girlfriends, but they are also probably gay for each other too.

>but they are also probably gay for each other too
Maybe in /y/ fanfictions

>it's another everyone forgets about a show so now I can start pretending it was good episode
Yeah fuck off OP, it was shit and nearly everyone dropped it before it even fucking finished. Only the girls and mecha were good, and it didn't even have that much good animation if we're comparing it to Star Driver.
They wasted so much time on Yamakan who turned out to be a complete waste of space instead of using it on the real villains. What we were left with was half-assed everything.

FYI, Captain Earth's character design was done by a porn artist. So you are kind spot on.

Even without spending time on Salty Dog, Star Driver managed to have a worse nonsensically big cast of underdeveloped, one off characters and rushed ending. And let's not forget the lesbians.
And Puck was a much better villain than discount Akio.

I seriously expected Teppei going to use his main pod/core thingy as new "core" for Albion at the end. Just to show how much he has grown as a person and show you how to use the libido gun.

Shame that Speed Junkie didn't get Bugbear-tier development.

Haha, no.

What do you mean, his ego block? Those and livelasters are not compatible, that's why Puck got fucked after possessing Hana.

Like this robot interface pod. It was said that his "body"/albion were just a hollow shell now so I was under impression he would use the robot core to use old body as a new mecha.
Power of ayyliums gun seemed quite omnipotent.

>lead writer for Utena, FLCL and Diebuster
>writer for Evangelion
Yes.

I thought they broke down his old Albion body and rebuilt it into the Nebula Engine

I dont remember, can you even manipulate the Kill T Gangs?
I mean, they're far away from Earth and just magically spawn from the ego block.

Don't kid yourself OP. CE was garbage.

Was it really worth it conserving this screencap for years?

It got you to reply so yes.

At least it's not Comet Lucifer

>rock waifu turns out to be a cute brown girl

I still wonder how i manage to finish this snorefest.
