Correct, it is in the same vein as the comedy news shows with their rhythms which are set to induce laughter at the mention of opposing political viewpoints. The idea is not to examine a scenario or idea closely, it's to dismiss it and gloss over it with derisive laughter, to the point where people who believe in for example at least some traditional values could hear the phrase "traditional values!" shouted by John Oliver in regards to white man we're being given visual/auditory cues we should laugh at derisively, and people who believe in traditional values will begin laughing at traditional values. Ha-ha yeah they sure are stupid sometimes! Hah!
Likewise with these commercial and TV/Movie components coming to fruition, people will begin to subconsciously not take white people seriously or listen to anything any of them say. It will be enough at points for white people to open their mouths or attempt to express themselves and they will either be laughed at derisively or violently shut up, probably one and then the other. This also works both ways. Any white man portrayed in media who is strong, looks masculine, is outspoken and intelligent is typically portrayed as a villain, terrorist, or member of white supremacist groups/right wing death squads. You can see this playing out in society today as people are beginning to adhere to these archetypes. Massive amounts of bumbling fool betamale cuckolds and everyone who shows a shred of backbone and masculinity is automatically a nazi.
