Come on now user, Simon improved ALOT over the course of the show.

He kinda stagnated by the end of the show

But dear god his rise in the first half was glorious

But I do admit his rise to badassery in the first half stands out more.

Just his just shut in personality after Kamina died was so realistic and only made pic related infinitely more satisfying

Simon's character development in Gurren Lagann is honestly one of my favorite things to watch. Seeing him start as a shy, weak wimp with a drill eventually become a bonafide badass is one the most satisfying things to watch.
