I hate communism but why should I like Nat Soc when the more I read, the more the two ideologies seem the same, they just have different definitions.

Also, how is Nat Soc a right-wing ideology when the Right is concerned with small government, individual freedom and free economy and so on?

I kind of get what Reagan meant by "You and I are told we must choose between a left or right, but I suggest there is no such thing as a left or right. There is only an up or down."

>horseshoe theory
>still stuck in the left/right dichotomy
>still can't separate economic and social policies
Lurk more. It goes in all fields

Nazis: Concentration camps
Commies: Gulags
Nazis: Home grown, home produced
Commies: The same
Where is the difference, genius-chan?

It's "right" in that it takes the concerns of right-wingers (culture, tradition, family and economic freedom) to the state level, so that everyone is guided by those (now enforced) principles.

Natsoc had to be authoritarian in Germany at the time because when it was gaining ground, the country was just as (if not more) liberal than the west today, and was under a far more real threat of communist infiltration and revolution. So the people had no real choice either way but to come completely under Nazi rule, since it was far more preferable than the alternative, and those who supported it knew that the Germans didn't really have the privilege of democracy anyhow.

Communism's approach is similar. They focus on national identity as well. For instance they put great emphasis on national culture (it is just that it is the peasant culture) rather than the aristocratic one.

The second one seems like a lame excuse.. sorry

Peace with the Middle east, cheap oil, Get ride of kikes and destroying all forms of degeneracy. not to mention that it protects family values and pride in oneself and nation.

you can start off by fucking drawing a swastika the correct way you actual spastic

Nat Soc is better, I can't deny it.

Concentration camps were great.

Yeah, it is reversed, but I noticed it too late. Anyway, stop being a faggot...

thatss the thing about horseshoe theory

>concentration camps
for kikes and faggots
>gulags
for wrongthink

ikr

I am not arguing in favour of horseshoe theory, I say that the Nat Soc is far left

Communists doctor their culture and twist it to communist principles, and only insofar as it serves the interest of the party. In truth, they have no connection to most of their culture since it's foundational philosophies and principles are overridden by marxism. They're atheists and materialists, and their actual works of culture show it. It all looks shallow and misses the nuance of said cultures previous work. It's also why If it comes down to efficiency or culture, commies will always choose efficiency, even if it turns their cities into concrete slums. They can't let themselves see the difference aesthethics truly makes, and only go the extra mile if perhaps it rallies a mote of patriotic spirit to do so.

Natsoc was intended as a measure of preserving German culture when this threat was larger than ever, and sort of had a "If you can't beat em, join em" mentality. Perhaps if you were at risk of your country being permanently crippled, and everything you care about taken and mutated by marxism forever you'd have a similar outlook. To be honest, that's actually why most people are here on Sup Forums and if you don't get it, you must be new.

National socialism is both a right wing and a left wing ideology mixed in with an authoritarian dictatorship. Hitler was a centrist.

Makes sense
Well following that thought, if Hitler established the Reich today, then that would mean his ideology and policies in general would be very different given the fact most of his policies were circumstantial... act makes sense

There should be concentration camps for white people.
I like to build engines, so sign me up for that course, please.

You'd have to actually give examples before I can really comment further. As far as I can tell pretty much every policy of his stemmed from either preserving tradition or restarting the economy. Perhaps you're referring to the latter, but again, as I said, it'd make sense to you if your country was going through the great depression.

For one, he wouldn't be on the mic talking to a bunch of soyboys.

>they seem the same
>different definitions
Dumbass

every system has prison for enemies, they're just called differently
and if the fact you want to produce on a national level makes you the same half of the ideology are alike
btw did you know that some capitalists are protectionists too and some commies are globalists?

Political prisoners went to concentration camps too though, they just never got let go again
