How will this decade be remembered in history?

Now that there are only two years remaining for this decade to end, how do you anons think the 2010's will be remembered in history?

The decade when America was made great again

Like the 1930s

America was never great.

What an absolutely terrible decade this has been. The only that can be called winners are China and Russia.

The decade the Anglo elite graduated to global capitalist elite.

>America is made great by sucking even more Israeli cock

You mean Anglo-Jewish.

It will be remembered as the decade when the Zionists failed.

Whoever survives this decade is certainly going to take a look at every last president from the early 2000's to now - Bush, Obama and Trump - and ask themselves "holy shit what the fuck was happening in America at this time?". It's like a collective derangement.

Imagine the one about Anglo history. Just appalling.

Three years. The decade ends 31st December 2020.

Mostly for smartphones probably

What's wrong with Obama? Not a burger btw

>you will live to see China humiliate the US in a short but decisive Asia-Pacific conflict that will forever end the US superpower era

What the hell do Costco's and brick ovens have to do with the alt-right?

Future historians will write about how much China's economy grew between 2010-2020

...

>VW Golfs
>Civ 4
>Burger King
>Costco
>Alt-right

>notable world leader
>François Hollande
As a frog it gave me a good laugh, that guy's heritage was literally nothing

Growing aggression and bad faith in online discourse, and the "true" beginning of ideological conflicts that will mark the decades to come.

The beginning days of the internet era, where we finally have almost everyone in the entire USA connected and exposed to one another on a constant basis

The ideological polarization is extreme right now but over the next few decades we will become politically homogenized as internet communication becomes even more centralized to specific sites and services. Corporations will continue to wrangle the internet into controlled environments and only hardcore nerds will operate outside of that environment.

It will be known as the decade of memes

>throughout the entirety of the decade

But it’s 2017...

I guess an interesting fact that happened in this decade was the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI.

Furthermore, the contribution made by americans and europeans to the destabilization of the middle east and north africa.

>India

...

>affordable care act screwed up healthcare
>gave hundreds of guns to Mexican cartels
>didn’t close Guantanamo bay
>did nothing to help unemployment
>drone strikes
List goes on and on

It won't really.
The coherent decade system only worked with concentrated mass-culture diffusion mediums like television and newspapers. With the internet, you have a much more personalized experience and it won't be possible to cohere the 2010s into a single narrative.
Economically, I hope it's remembered as the pivot-point between the 1980s-2010s orthodoxy, and some neo-social-democratic future.

Salt-left poster.

Dont forget,
>Pulled all us troops out of Iraq and let isis flourish
>Added more debt than every other president combined (10 trillion)

West continues to decline in favor of Asia.

Burger here, where Bush was accused of being too much of a cowboy cop, Obama spent way too little time and energy in trying to fix the messes that Bush left and that happened after he was elected. Part of the reason he was elected was that he would get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan, but he just went "Uhh, yep, I think this is good enough." and left the former to falter under a fucked up minority ruled regime and sectarian violence.

On the issue of Syria, he spent way too long pussy footing around support of anybody or anything, so when the time came where Assad royally fucked everything up, he was left out cold without a say in the matter because Russia and Iran actually bothered to overtly support someone and lost face over the whole chemical weapons issue. ISIS just around the corner just solidified Assad's justifications, so now regardless of what you think of the whole situation, you can't remove someone from power only to have a repeat of what happened less than a decade ago, especially if you were elected mostly because you were assumed to stay the fuck out of things like that.

Also, a fair amount of progressives were fucking pissed about the whole healthcare overhaul, since it was advertised initially as a public option, they wanted a European style single payer, and the Democrats/Obama were too much in the pockets of big pharma despite having a super-majority to even go through with anything other than the bullshit hodgepodge system that has the worst aspects of both options.

Also, while Republicans bitching about executive orders seemed petty at the time, the fact of the matter is that by extending the limits of what can be done by the executive branch, Obama failed to see the fact that what could be done by one party could easily be done by the other.

Other than that, he was more or less just a black milder Bush that nobody had the guts to make fun of or legitimately criticize because that would be "racist".

Regardless of your political slant, you have to admit it's been kind of a shitshow.
