Thinking about joining the force in central California. Any police around that might comment about the job?

I think I would make good police:
>6'3
>22
>Athletic
>Strong morals and ethics
>Strong oral and written communication
>Well tempered with an even demeanor
>Calm under pressure
>Intelligent and good situational awareness
>Excellent driving skills
>Excellent hand eye coordination and body control

Loser, be an engineer

I want to direct and write films and this would be a good way to get some money to start funding projects. However I also want to start my own vertical farming for fresh produce on Mars company.

> Used to be a "radical"
> meh "fugg da police"
> Become an oldfag
> Realize the police is what separate us from total chaos and Armageddon

>Calm under pressure
completely subjective since you have never been in a situation a cop has been in.

>hablamos?
we talk? what the fuck does that mean

Yeah you're totally right. How I have handled myself in high pressure situations in the past though hopefully is emblematic of a core trait that will scale up.

During the recent (((independence of Catalonia movement thing))) the meme president of Catalonia kept telling central government that "he just wanted to talk". He said it over and over and it was annoying as fuck because there was nothing to talk about. Then the police twitted this picture. "Do you wanna talk?"
We mined salt for weeks

It's one of those low-hanging fruit sort of jobs, but as far as jobs go it's not a terrible one. You'll be able to raise a family. Depending on your department you might be able to work extra jobs at bars or security at an office building, and you can make decent money doing that. You can find yourself working a shitload of hours every week though, and that's how you slip into bad habits. You work a lot, get tired, drink energy drinks in order to make it through the day, you get home and you want to sit, you sit all day in your patrol car, you get free junk food at corner stores, and before you know it you're fat and stressed out.

You have to watch out for that. But the job beats a desk job for sure, unless the desk job pays really well. The scenery changes, but the calls are mostly all the same. It has its ups and downs. Some of the calls can be interesting and funny, though.

You are probably too smart. 99% of cops are 90iq or lower, they are easier to control and they don't ask questions when suspects constitutional rights are violated.

im learning spanish and i dont like how it works. adjectives after nouns annoys me. i need a spanish grammar book desu. it's dumb how hablamos can mean what you said it means but in order for me to understand it like you i would need it to be podemos hablar or quieries hablar

Yeah plucking it from the tree is what I had in mind because not many 75k jobs sitting there for people my age attending community college. Hopefully I can still continue my education because I have other plans for my future. The idea of working for a police department has always appealed to me, so why not get my feet wet and stop thinking on it.

Even if that were true, I'm not somehow above the work. It would be a great opportunity to get involved with the community and be able to think on my feet. Either that or try and get a job as a car salesman at landrover or porache nearby but I would be working minimum wage for 2 years working my way up from porter.

No you don't understand, they literally won't hire you if you are above 90iq. Of course you, being an intelligent moral person, are the type of people that should be cops.

Give it a try, maybe it will work out.

you're a liar. cite your claims

blah blah blah

>Most Cops Just Above Normal The average score nationally for police officers is 21 to 22, the equivalent of an IQ of 104, or just a little above average

you probably feel so superior whenever you talk to a cop
>hurr this guy has a 90 IQ for sure

meant for

Can you speak Spanish?

have fun working for your jewish masters, even more so in California

Great job, but be prepared to become totaly cynical and misanthrop. Also, be prepared to be totaly disappointed in your colleagues during your first year of service.

I ranked my way up from the patrol to assistant of the team chief in 3 years if you have any questions OP

No, I'm learning german with rosetta stone but I should probably do Spanish. Good point.

I am my own master.

Just know that being a cop is not law enforcement. You are a Garbage Man for Human Garbage.

You won't solve crime.

You will go to call after call and interact with the worst mankind has to offer.

If you want to really go into law enforcement.

Join the Military and go into Intelligence. Each branch has them. Navy probably the best IMO.

Then get out and use the GI Bill to get your degree in either Criminal Justice or Political Science.

Then go into a TLA. They have recruitment drives twice a year and with the right background you'll get in (see above).

That is where real law enforcement is.

Keep your nose clean and then you put in 20-30 years and get that government retirement check...

THEN run for Sheriff in any town you want.

Anything less that this... is a waste of time.

This. And most police work is mindlessly boring. Lots of paperwork and procedure. And god forbid you have a bad day, have to use your weapon to neutralize a suspect, end up on YouTube and go through a show trial where you'll probably lose your job even if innocent.

Yes thank you for responding. What qualities did you demonstrate that your superiors valued which led to your promotions? How has being police affected your day to day off the job? Are you allowed to concealed carry off duty? What is a piece of advice you would give to a rookie? Has your mental heath improved or declined from the work? Do you think you have helped people? Any of those mate if you could, cheers.

Join the Seals.Don't be a fag.

>police
>morals and ethics
Pick one

Let's test your reflexes, son.

Thanks for that nice image I appreciate it. I have been thinking about going air force but am still not sure if I am ready to commit, that I havent signed up is an indication that I'm not. Your post appeals to me cognitively but I dont think that my heart is in it like that. I want to reach peoples minds and inspire and get others to strive for excellence and create the future. Defending the country from terror is noble and worthwhile and probably the best use of anyones time but I think I will tread a different path.

>What qualities did you demonstrate that your superiors valued which led to your promotions?

Very good at reporting and I became independant in my work quickly. My superiors know that they don't need to be constantly over my shoulder, the work will be done properly and in time. I have a strong work ethic.

>How has being police affected your day to day off the job?
Besides the emotional cost (I became very cynical), I have more free time because I work long shifts including nights. Basically, I have a 6 days week and I spent half my time at home, so I have more time for my hobbies such as mountaing biking or fixing my motorcycle.

>Are you allowed to concealed carry off duty?
Only on my way to/from work.

>What is a piece of advice you would give to a rookie?
Listen to what oldfags have to say, and learn how to be assertive at the same time. Don't take any shit from anybody, colleague or "customers". Leave your work problems at work, and your private problems (if you have any) at home. Separate your private and work life. If you're tired of your colleagues (which will happen), learn to relativize, it's only a job and they are only your colleagues. What matters most is your family and your well being.

>Has your mental heath improved or declined from the work?
Never asked or seen a shrink about it. It may seem cliché but I see the dark side of society everyday. I think you have to be pretty well in your head to cope with it. Having a strong family and a very supportive GF, I have no problem dealing with it.

>Do you think you have helped people?
I honestly ask myself this question sometimes. Sometimes I feel like I do, and sometimes not.

Yeah drop German. You'll be dealing with spics all day long and to cover themselves they often switch to Spanish and say "No english!" when confronted.

I have great respect for our military and seriously admire those specialists.

Why is the dog's cock peeking out?

Thank you for the information. You sound very good at your job.

Guh I didn't see that, am I about to get banned?

This, this is a good post.

Oh, and most of all, be wary of colleagues that display to everyone their "thin blue line" or esprit de corps mentality. They are often the biggest hypocrites assholes and incompetent colleagues you will encounter.

Move to Florida and be a cop here. A friend of mine went back to California and said he was only making 35k a year which is ridiculously low. Cops in big cities in Florida generally start around 45 to 50k and have endless off duty opportunities which usually pay 40 an hour, minimum.

I'll treat men as I meet them but I always felt that attitude was something of a facade. I'll keep that in mind though.

Man the city flyer I'm seeing here for academy graduate is 75, is that unusual?

Starting salary is 75k*

Here's the BIG THING missing in this equation.
I'm not a cop, but, known lots.
The adrenaline roller coaster is bigger killer of "your" personal life than most cops know.
Kinda like playing sports in the " Big " game.
Wake up, get amped up for day.
Nothing happens for first 90 mins you wind down, then call comes in = full adrenaline rush, you roll out take care of whatever human trash issue it is, then next 90 mins wind down, then call comes in, repeat. ALL DAY EVERY DAY.
RESULTS
You are constantly hyper vigilant , life is just one flowing rage into the next
And
No one taught you to unwind at end of day.
SO
You bring it ( rage) home along with the human trash you mentally dealt with every day. You start unwinding on ALL of the people closest to you
Then can't understand why you wife, kids, family hate you. So feeling bad for yourself ,fuckem , you cheat on wife,kids,etc.. get divorced lose all you stuff entire family hates you
But
You marry the next female with a blue uniform fetish, repeat cycle,
Somewhere around wedding 3 or 4 you heart attack , still loved ones hate you, sons turn fag cause they hate you and daughters are swinging on a brass pole while, losers from/pol / stick dollar bills in their panties.
ADRENALINE ROLLER COASTER
is underestimated and ruins your life.
Ask any cop and watch the epiphany happen as they realise that's why their life sucks.

Real classy, Germany

>6’3

Sadly manlets are not allowed

You would be a good fit for the police force. We need good white men in all of our institutions; judges, lawyers, police officers, military, doctors, engineers and inventors etc.

We retake CONTROL by being IN CONTROL of our people, government and the country.

Godspeed bro, stay safe and be vigilant.

Pic related

You're fine, no worries, I've seen far worse than dogcock here.

To your topic of becoming a policeman, I can only tell you what I've seen here in germany.

Policemen here get used like slaves for menial bullshit by housewives and rostards that can't handle chad outbursts.

As bonus you get to handle imported thugs that barely speak your language and kill you because of a book.

Wanted to always become a policeman, but I got rheumatism and they don't hire cripples...

...

Point my gun at the nigger and start moving to my left to clear those other two cops' firing lane.

that's the problem with our language, it has a shit-ton of variables and verbal forms, some words change meaning with a simple diacritic in the word, for example, "el" is a simple article used to unite words, however "él" means literally "him"

It's pretty hard coming from english because it's a totally different language, spanish people have easier time learning french/italian and even Japanese

Reminder that pol is projection and satire

Is that skinny matt farah?

What's your weight and bench press max, can you shoot well? If you can't lift 350 pounds and shoot a target from a football field's distance you'll have no chance.

just remember remember tweakers are terrible people

What do you mean don't have a chance?

Become a corrupt cop and make side money through bribes

Copfag here. Ask me anything.
Do it Opie but be warned. If it is for you, you'll never want to do any other sort of job ever again.

Hey mate, what makes you say what you do? In what ways do you speak of?

I'm saying all my buddies in the force could bench press at least 250 pounds junior year in highschool, and they recruit most officers from shooting ranges. Do you cut it?

YOu're asking on the wrong forum, dumbass. Anyway, you should know damn well what the process is for becoming a cop. It's not rocket science

From central valley.

Filled with tweakers, low high school grad rate, high teen pregnancy, worst air pollution in the nation. You name it, this area sucks. Most conservative area in California, still filled with liberal cucks.

Currently looking to gfto myself.

I actually like the police around here, but in general people hate them.

The job isn't for everyone. And I'm not saying thst from a place of "I'm so macho I'm the fucking police if you can't do it you're a pussy."
For some people, it's not what they thought being the police was really about. Some people can't handle the types of calls. Like others have said I'm. This thread it will make you cynical and WILL change your personality. In my case the change was for the better. But some people can't handle the stress or the things they see. Understand based on your department and demographics your milage may vary.
That's what I mean "if it's for you"
We've had two people in the last two hire groups quit once they had to get sprayed and watch the traffic stop video where the Vietnam vet shoots the officer.

It will spoil you for other jobs. Again, your milage may vary, but you get given a gun a pair of handcuffs and a car and are told to go arrest people, attempt to solve crime and take reports. You're on your own, your supervisor is there to make sure you don't fuck up but he isn't breathing down your neck. You have the freedom to do what you want. If you get odd on making 50 stops a week and looking for drugs? Do you. If you don't make any stops and try to solve minor thefts and Shoplifting because you want to be a detective, that's also cool.
You don't get thst freedom anywhere else besides self employment.

Do it! Fuck what people think!

LA is a fucking shithole barely on the edge of a civilized place If any place needs another cop, it's that awful fucking dystopia.

He said central, not southern California.

retarded burguer doesn't understand another language semantics...
never change burguers, never change...

Go be a fire fighter. Get to sleep on duty, and no one wants to kill them all the time......

If your hell bent on being a LEO, do it....only way to know is to feel the struggle for yourself...Cops have a hard lot, but it is an honorable thing.

Blessed be the peace makers, for they shall be called children of God.....

Is there a difference? Is there one shithole metropolis on the coast of California less dangerous than another?

Im not American but I know that whole coast is an enormous unending urban ghetto, LA, San-Fran, San Deigo, such shitholes. All in one big line.

I'm not sure, I don't live there.

If you are the one on the left, chances are okay. Send a resume.

If you are the one on your right .... I have never seen a dog type such a well written post. You will probably get the job right away and be riding shotgun in a K9 unit instead of in the backseat.

Open fire on those two mofos brandishing firearms!

Great, but how do you do with two ratchet fatasses screaming at each other over petty shit and doing a bunch of paper work? Welcome to the force! It's like the movies, except it sucks.

Induction.

What?

I'm east of Sac, not in San Jose.

Haha thanks for the laugh
