I still consider this the greatest anime movie ever made, 7 years later.

I don't think it aged well visually.

You're not alone, still my favourite anime movie ever since then.

The series haven't aged all that well because of the designs, but the movie still looks really good and is full of details.

yes

The first half is kinda slow on repeat watching

Completely agree. Even if it's not a standalone anime movie, it is better than most.

It's still my favorite anime from this decade plus points for cute human yuki

I gotta agree with you there, user, I usually don't feel too much when watching movies but this one sure as hell stuck with me over the years.

That's true. But it's also a fantastical mood setter, can't get more winter than that.

Pretty overrated. Not actual high art like most Ghibli, Kon or Oshii films.

>high art
Opinion rejected

Oh boy we have a patrishun here

Paprika.

I still consider you an ignorant KyoAni fanboy who probably used to post on Gaia.

It's far from being Kon's best movie. It's not even good compared to Perfect Blue.

Still has far more artistic merit than Disapperance. Sad.

Disappearance is much better in every way except the Hirasawa musics.

>artistic merit

>haruhi better animated than paprika
No

Disappearance's direction was great and the visuals were solid without stop. Paprika has more crazy visuals with the dream stuff so you might like it more if it's your thing, but it's not better animated than Disappearance especially considering it's two times shorter.

And more importantly, Paprika's story sucks donkey dick. Pretty visuals don't matter when the watcher is busy looking at his window trying to find something interesting to see.

>can't get more winter than that.
Anime winters are barely winters at all.

>Paprika's story sucks donkey dick
I was writing a long text to reply to your post but I realized there's no point talking to someone that can't appreciate animation in anime. You're just a moefag weeaboo.
Sage

>i-i had an answer but i just wont write it because you suck
Also there's no correlation between story and animation. Paprika looks good and the intro scene is great but the writing is terrible. The villains are nonsensical and it's literally a bunch of people fightan in dreams. The whole thing doesn't make any sense and goes absolutely nowhere (except for a fat fuck getting a gf i guess)

Definitely up there as one of the best.

I still think it is a sensation.

It's one of my favorites but that doesn't mean its the best

for a second time watching of the series what is better?
Airing order or chronological order?
