16 Volumes

>16 Volumes

How the actual fuck can you have the story going for this long?

Easily when there's a hundred characters in question.

>22 volumes + another 17 volumes
How the actual fuck can you have the story going for this long?

>Volume 13 translation never
It hurts ;_;

If I remember right the dude gets amnesia at one point, so there's a couple of volumes off the bat.

It's not like LNs are very long. They're more like novellas. The better question is how the FUCK can some goddamn dictionary-sized book full of WORDS WORDS WORDS like the Wheel of Time keep on going for 15 volumes?

And only about two months have passed

the problem here is that he doesn't know when to stop writing

I was going to agree but this has had volumes almost 500 pages long lately.
>"light" novel

Series goes to shit after the Brune arc anyway.

volumes + another 17 volumes
You forgot SS1 and SS2 which were a part of the main story. And then there's the countless other side stories which slightly affect it.

>How the actual fuck can you have the story going for this long?
pic related, that's how

I dropped that shit after best man Roland got BEE'D.

...

Obligatory Kawakami post.

Why is she so perfect?

She feels securely THE BEST and doesn't worry about other waifus taking her place at the top of the waifu hierarchy.

>not posting the updated version

You say that like it's a bad thing.

It's not, it's just strange to see stuff like OP's post after getting into Kamachi/Kawakami.

Map painting

>puts Wheel of Time series next to it just to give contrast to the amount of autism Kawakami puts into his work

JUST BELIEVE

...

>Beautiful
>Strong, yet kind (spared Tigre because he impressed her)
>Has a sense of Justice (let Tigre defend Alsace despite being her prisoner)
>Loyal
>Jealous and possessive without being yandere (see: the lover's quarrel scene)
>Ashamed to be seen naked but doesn't go into a "kyaa~ b-baka ecchi DX" tirade
>Gentle femdom bait ("From now on, you belong to me")

that's kind of short for these things.

Too bad she's used goods now.

Read Xianxia.

She's not used goods when she has lost her virginity to the man she intends to marry.

Now I'm wondering if I should rewatch this.

Go read it instead.
The only thing you will see are chess pieces during strategy meetings.

Not him, but how is the manga compared to the light novel? I don't really like reading huge walls of text on my computer screen.

is there something of this in english?

I feel your pain, this is my favorite LN. I'm almost considering learning moon.

Got to volume 2ish did better than the anime, but just sputtered on translations till you for real purposes stopped seeing it.

>16 volumes

You are like a little baby, watch this

you are like a little baby.
>30 volumes and 11 years

oh, fug. I forgot the pic.

Horizon, Owari no Chronicle, Hexennacht and CITY are either fully or partially translated on BT.

What's the story of this? Why does it have so many volumes?

Wasn't Guin Saga one of thsoe LN or whatever that never ended?

>Wheel of time

How'd that end anyway? I stopped reading when MC got crippled by some nobody.

>It's more pages than in search of lost time by Marcel Proust and the longest fanfic.
WEW LAD

What's the longest fanfic?

130 volumes later and I think its still going

The longest fanfic is called The Subspace Emissary's Worlds Conquest.

...

Does fucking everything have one of those card game thingies?

Japs love their shitty mobage.

I really wish they'd stop animating things just to promote a book if they're not going to really commit.

This is like if they just made a movie of Fellowship and then said, hey go read the books

Youjo Senki books are dictionaries I hear.

Should I watch her show?

I found it to be a decently entertaining show. Also Ludmila is a good girl who get a nice amount of screen time.

>Ludmila

What an unfortunate moniker

I stopped reading after I finished the Liza arc. Can any LNbros give me a summary of what's happened since then?

Where did you download these?

It drags terribly for 4 books. Then the author died and his wife found someone to write the last few books. I dropped it by then but apparently the new author picks up the pace and makes it good again.

But there are other series that are bigger. Take Terry Pratchett's Discworld books, 45 novels in total.

user posted them in a thread years ago.

...

...

...

They're light novels. A good chunk of that can be covered in 12-13 episodes.

I've never realized how much shit happened in such a small amount of time until this post.

It even survived the death of its author.

...

Sophya is such a cute, but being only 22 she's way too young to be such an ara ara~

ara ara is a state of mind, and big tits

...

...

...

It's not a single series.

...

Does this have actual translations for the earlier volumes and not MTL? I wanted to read it to see what all the fuss was about but the MTL stopped me.

>>I found it to be a decently entertaining show. Also Ludmila is a good girl who get a nice amount of screen time.
Mila is best girl but it's sad she lost her old skirt.

>one "volume" is multiple books
I don't understand.

They're too long to publish without splitting them up. 1-A and 1-B for example are for all intents and purposes a single book, but it would have like 1000+ pages without the split.

How much of that is difference in formatting? A few points font size different and line spacing can make for a lot less content than is suggested by the size of the book.

why did they take it away?

They changed the artist so some characters got redesigns.

Because it was stupid.

>130 volumes

The fuck?

Man, Magic Tree House isn't even that long.

It's been going since like the fucking 80s

>Volume 13 Chapter 4 - 55%

The wait is killing me. Even Campione got recently translated.

>Even Campione got recently translated.
What bullshit are you sayi-
>it's true
Wow, thank you.

Well damn Today's a good day

Machine Doll apparently has 16 volumes too, wish that were translated.
80% of its cast is apparently dead.

...

...

What the fuck is that? Explain, is it even worth reading?

...

Some people on reddit are fans, they said the story really ends at around 100. After that it was largely fan service.

>80% of its cast is apparently dead.

What.

can you help me post this on the front page? im starting a new thread and can't see how to make it!

Has he fucked Titta yet? Make his dead butler proud

Can you give me summary on what happened after the anime?

Yes, volume 14 off screen user

But Discworld can be broken up into smaller sets of books based on characters in them, and most are written well enough that if it was your first book in the series, you might not get how the series got to the point it did but they'll explain the important characters well enough to understand what's going on.

Except a good chunk of light novels are anything but light and are instead tomes easily over 500 pages long.

They're either dolls of dead people or dead as a result of the setting being actually kinda brutal and grimdark.

Yes, it's also implied that Lewdmila invited him to her room after confessing for coitus.

>first chapter has everyone in plate armor
>second chapter onwards everyone is wearing skimpy outfits
>no explanation is given for why they stopped wearing armor

>one of the girls is literally wearing a transparent skirt with her panties in full view
>nobody in the setting notices this or questions it
>no explanation is given for this
