We got SAO: Ordinal Scale last weekend
This weekend we are getting "In this corner of the world".
What the fug? Why are we getting so many anime films?
Because Cinemex are weebs
Went to see In this Corner of the World, I was the only person at the screening
Good movie tho
>I was the only person at the screening
Huh? Weird, I saw lots of persons at the screening in my local theater
Did you go early?
Mexico is full of weebs because they want to forget about their awful reality.
But my reality is good user
I guess we are not the only ones, the same can be said about other countries.
Yeah, I went to the 13:40 show
Though weirdly, when they showed me the available seats there were like 10-15 taken, but no one showed up once the movie started
Weird dude
Anyway, it seems they will bring more anime movies in the future
Sure if you're on the side that decapitates, rather than the side that gets decapitated.
It was a meme.
I don't really understand why mexicans are so weeb.
Not Mexican here (Colombian to be precise), but I think it's the fact that anime (until the past ten years) have always been part of regular TV programming.
I was watching Saint Seiya on public TV back in 1994. No censorship, blood everywhere (except for the House of Libra's thing, you know what I'm talking about). My country somehow got to pirate mexican channels and we were watching Escaflowne, Sailor Moon, Ranma 1/2 and the like.
Dragon Ball Super and One Punch Juan are getting Mexican dub
It's like we're living an Anime Renaissance
>One Punch Man instead of One Chaclazo Man
Missed opportunity
Hadn't heard about that, isn't Mononoke getting a dub too?
Apparently it's coming to Netflix and it's likely it will get a Latino dub
anmtvla.com
>descendants of traitor tribes and Spanish colonists who have murdered the noble Aztecs and wiped out their culture
>claim Quetzalcoatl as one of their own
disgusting
La Malinche suits you turncoats better
>Aztecs
>Noble
Yeah man that's why nearly every tribe joined the Spanish against the Aztecs.
>noble Aztecs
>noble
wew lad
this is what chilangos actually believe
youtube.com
Do Mexicans take offense on AoT?
All Mexicans should be hung from the wall.
I know.
I'm chilean and our last 2 generations have been influenced by battle shonens, mechas and sport anime (I even remember watching some ultra-obscure 80s OVAs on the early 00s).
What I'm talking about is that for some reason Mexico imports a lot more anime than the other spic countries. We have an anime channel, but the only anime movies I've seen on the cinema are selected Ghibli shit.
>Aztecs
>noble
Tenochtitlan was as corrupt as PRI-controlled Mexico.
Just the politicians and narcos and anyone with criminal history.
The rest are cool.
Went we went to see Shin Godzilla, one Cinemex had already sold all tickets for a single room, so we went running to another one and barely able to get in time, (the tickets were far cheaper on the second one), the other one had like 20 people in total tough.
>Just the politicians and narcos and anyone with criminal history.
So most of the country?
you aren't completely wrong
I had a group of friends back in my time in Mexico and all of them were college living with their parents with no prospects of ever moving out or branching out to do better things. They were just watching anime and forgetting the problems around them
We also got Gantz:O
Don't use the vampire for shitposting
>Meanwhile in Burgerland
I hope SAO fails here. Fuck this gay earth.
If you can't give me quality movies then you can keep your shit Japan.
get a job you pinko-enabling loser
What's the point of making a wall if you want to kill all of them?
Retarded edgyposter
Yet we only got 2 screenings of Your name at a hefty price.
We're getting Koe no katachi though.
>SAO
As always, we get the trash of the world
There's also Ghost in the Shell in cinepolis. And the Cineteca Nacional frequently has some Ghibli or other anime movies.
to prevent the inevitable influx of Mesoamerican spics
the law of communicating vessels
What the shit does that have to do with Japan not putting out good movies here?
A lot of asian countries got Kimi No na Wa last year.
U,K keeps getting multiple screenings of Koe no Katachi with Singapore and Malaysia having them this month. Followed by more SEA countries.
Mexico gets Kono Sekai no Katasumi Ni
I mean what the shit. Screen that shit to Cali. There's a lot of weebs here that'll be willing to watch that. Granted they don't screen it after the BD release.
Is there any way to keep up with what's screening where or do I need to stalk ten different webpages at all times?
So, is "In this corner of the world" any good? There's a screening relatively close to me and I don't mind supporting it if it's actually good.
Also, do you fags buy panini manga?
What for, they never release anything that isn't already in english and their editions aren't as nice as the american ones.
Yes, it's good
I buy Ranma and One Punch Man
>So, is "In this corner of the world" any good?
Go watch it then decide. If you want any semblance of "opinions" it won awards in Japan and even an old ass shitter critic like Tomino praised it.
This is so low-quality I can even see the pixels thorugh the sound.
Made using the latest Mexican high-tech equipment.
I only buy Pokemon manga because they are cheaper than american imported ones, but as the other user say, there isn't really a good reason to buy those if you know English. Thought I know some folks that actually buy it
Just check cinemex webpage regularly. I don't know if cinepolis screens anime movies but you can check if there's a miracle from time to time.
They're the ones that have SAO right now. Cinemex has in this corner of the world now and GitS next week.
Nothing to be proud off.
Gits? Really?
...
Yeah.
Yup.
Well that speaks for the quality content of both companies. The gap is so great it's like deciding if you want to consume shit or gold.
I will consume both, though. I have a weakness for shit-quality anime.
wtf i like cinemex now
They frequently have 'festivals' and they show a mix of good and bad stuff. Better to just stalk both of them. And Cineteca.
So, regionalisms will be used?
I don't think so,I've seen some crunchy subs on those movies and they're pretty neutral.
Nice
Gonna watch it
While looking into it, I noticed that they will screen the movies in certain complexes only. Fortunately for me one of those complexes is 10 minutes away from my house. I'm glad Guanajuato is such a weeb state.
All states are weeb states
This
I fucking hate that they have them for so few days
I really wanted to watch Gantz 0 and I missed it
cinemex.com
oh I might go and see it in the big screen
Is it good?
CHI
CA
Stop watching anime and build that wall already.
You should pre order your tickets
is there hope for the new yugioh movie?
Gente como tu hace que me den ganas de construir la pared yo mismo
Maybe
>Screen that shit to Cali
I don't know why they're holding back. My fucking city is a weeb town with all the asians in here.
jesus all we get screened up here in Canada is god-awful GuP dubs
kek
Anyone saw the persona movie last year?
I watched various Satoshi Kon movies in cinemex, they had a marathon for all the Eva movies once and they are showing GiS next week.
Good times
Post you state and which weeb movies you have seen in the theater.
-Chihuahua
-Shin Godzilla, Millenium Actress, an Eva Rebuild Marathon, both Gurren Laggan Ovas, the Boruto movie amd Ghost in the Shell next week.
>>>>>>Hispachan
Thanks user. Hope it get good quality.
I did
And Puella Madoka movie too
>Being a beaner
Just neck yourself.
Only Shin Godzilla. I'm surprised how tame my fellow audience was, I was expecting a bunch of spergs from how people describe going to a weeb filled screening.
-Guanajuato
-All of them. ALL.
On a side note, I like going to the cinema to watch anime movies but I have anime conventions.
Saw In this Corner of the World today, loved it. I didn't want to leave that beautiful world. I teared up a bit. Such a great movie.
Cinepolis pretty much confirmed Heaven's Feel trilogy last november.
>posting like a dumb Sup Forumstard
You first
I've bought panini manga just to support manga in mexico. I didn't read it (I only bought a couple volumes) but I'm sure if I'm ever interested in any of their titles I'll buy it. It's nice seeing that every Oxxo sells manga now.
I dropped SAO in the middle of the GGO arc but I considered watching Ordinal Scale in Cinepolis just to show support and hopefully they keep bringing titles. In the end I didn't go because I had no cash (as a foraneo) but if they're still screening it next week I will go.
FUCK, really? I need to get out of my basement more. Didn't even notice.
Just watched This Corner and the subs were good.
I dont know.
But suddenly they are making segments for anime and vidyagaems on Milenio Noticias.
They are talking about the Narcos being BTFO from a marines chopper and then talk about tales of berseria.
For fucks sake, some old kike was talking about how DeathNote is classy and 2deep4u in the fucking morning news
>Mexico is full of weebs because they want to forget about their awful reality.
This works in any other country.
>death note 2deep
lmao
>hung
It is hanged you inbred nigger
>Just neck yourself.
>Implying we have necks
4d chess senpai
Just went to see Kono Sekai, didn't expect they to have it in japanese with subs, but and it was a beautiful movie, totally worth it. Also pretty good sound, was a good extra.
Is it time
Don't you have work in the oval office. Mr.Trump?
Cinepolis is SHIT
the only animu shit they showed were the new DBZ movies and that's it.
RETURN LANDS
And they will be screening Heaven's Feel Movies.
It is if you are a weeb
>Also pretty good sound
I noticed this too.
Everything from the songs, to the loud weaponry, to the noise in the scene with the white scribbles on a black background (you know which one), everything sounded great.
The video quality was great as well, but I guess that's expected from a theater release.
When is coming the Koe no Katachi movie? There was a trailer in the SAO movie, but it said "Proximamente".
