What does Sup Forums think about couples where the man is much older than the girl? I like them, and is shame there are a lot of this kind of manga untraslated.

Holy shit that's a long neck.

Isn't that takumi's dad

>What does Sup Forums think about couples where the man is much older than the girl?
I think it's great. In fact, I think it should be the norm.

I prefer it the other way around, and not just /ss/.

Rude 39 is mostly about pachinko, but the thing I liked the most was the relationship between Katagiri and Satomi. Satomi is just a naive girl than likes him because she thinks he is pretty cool (and he is) and Katagiri accept her filings. I thing is the only couple Fukamoto has done.

Yes

TITLES PLS

my girlfriend is 17 years old it's legal here no problem about that

I like it a lot, but only if he's fallen in love with her and not her age. When an older guy goes after much younger women consistently (16-25ish) it feels like a fault in his character and gives hints that he is controlling and cannot be in a relationship with someone who has their own agency or life experience enough to know/see through his BS. In that way the relationship would be a farce on his end.

I agree.

...

Dunno why people are sometimes so adverse to it given that it happens all the time in modern society without harm.

Updates fucking whwn?

...

I don't have any particular feelings towards the dynamic itself. There are a bunch of good stories about it, though.

It used to be the norm.

Why is older male/younger female so perfect? Probably because you know they'll always care for and fawn over each other.

No.

Is this from Kanojo wa Rokurokubi?

I like it a lot, always have. I think it's outrageously cute, but then again, I'm a guy so it's probably lost on women.

it also is the only way to get a pure girl now a days who hasn't spent a decade riding the cock carousel

>but then again, I'm a guy so it's probably lost on women.
Is it really though?
Doesn't shoujo has a lot of this happening?

For us at least, it's that the girls are under 18 mostly in anime/manga. The ones IRL are always of women usually past mid-20 with guys in their mid-30's to 40's.

I don't like them, but I have an exception for this manga. Interesting writing trumps all, assuming it doesn't end like shit.

That's part of what made Kodomo no Jikan so great. Aoki's love for Rin is pure and true because he fell in love with her as a person, despite her age, and was willing to wait for her to make sure it was what she wanted.

This series can choke. She's literally a child.

It's not uncommon in shoujo/josei or romance novels. A lot of women prefer older men.

That said, I'm a hypocrite and like the opposite.

No, read the filename.

But women love age gap romances.

Since The Tale of Genji

It's hit or miss. For shoujo, it's not the greatest example because the relationships are waaaaay too idealized (the older men are always pretty sub-30 princes who are also pretty well to do and oh wow they're also doctors/CEO's, etc.), so I tend to not give them much credence even if I enjoy it (much like the doctor guy falling in love with Ushio in Gentlemen's Alliance Cross).

In jousei where I also see it, it's also a wild grab bag. I enjoyed it in Ristorante Paradiso, and overall in Usagi Drop (while I was perturbed by the pseudo-incest and the breakneck speed/out-of-nearly-nowhere change in tone to romance, Daikichi and Rin are really soul mates), but in other series it's just sort of sad. I don't remember the name but there was one late bloomer coming-of-age manga series with a crotchety old doctor being the crush of a cute virgin receptionist girl and the entire relationship ends in breakup if spoilers are to be believed.

>The Tale of Genji
Delete this.

>crotchety old doctor
Is the manga called "&"? I'm pretty sure they break-up in the end for whatever reason.

get out of Sup Forums

it was a joke, user

Back to plebbit/tumblr.

I think so, that sounds pretty much like it. I'm actually pretty pissed off about that, but I'm glad I read the spoiler anyways so I didn't get too invested.
They made such a cute couple too, if only they had decided to actually heal each other of their baggage, but no, they have to continue being retardedly naive on one side, and permanent douchebag in the other.

>She's literally a child.

That just makes their love even purer and sweeter.

Get the fuck out, you newfag shit. Have a (You) and be on your way.

I like age-gap romances if they're done right. I wish I could find a man like pic-related.

>No traslation.
Fuck, I wish more people liked this kind of mangas.

Are there any good ones that are translated?

I find age-gap couples to be really hot. It doesn't have to be a big gap, but as long as there's a noticeable maturity or size difference with an older male and younger girl, it's a turn on.

It's heartwarming when the man takes on the role of both lover and oniichan to his girl.

Takane and Hana was fun.

>I google searched this image
thanks faggot now google thinks i'm gay

I love that series, but translations dried up for some reason?

Oh yeah. You see this often.

>Loli actually wins
It was amazing

>thinks
Google knows you are a closet fag

Don't worry, the character is bi. He was married to a woman when he was younger but she died from an illness and he did have a fling with the MC(who is a guy) but they broke it off and now he fools around with a ton of different women.

women love sean connery for a reason

The translations went to someone else and the people who were really into the series relented and stoppes posting, from what I can remember. Shame though. Their work was decent.

Only when it's never used to establish a power dynamic

But the power dynamic is what makes it erotic.

A lot of people recomend Koi Kaze, tough I haven´t read it.
Mitsu-Koi
Koi wa amaagari
Rude 39 like I said in Adoration by Kishizuka Kenji (it´s hentai but it was pretty sweet).

I'm really enjoying the manga, scans used to be slow but I guess they are finally picking up pace with the anime announcement.
The art is a plus, I like that sort of josei/seinen mix.
What chapter is this one? I have the raws but don't remember that page.

Yeah, it's alright in my book to find charm in the naivety of a person, to find them cute and so on. But like you said, the manipulative aspect that might come from it is a no go (from my perspective).

She will lose. And we will see her lost animated next year.

What if the girl wants to be manipulated?

>What does Sup Forums think about couples where the man is much older than the girl?
love them

That's complicated. She might be mature for her age to understand and picture what that entails. Or she might be too naive and have an idealized view of what she think it could be (but isn't).
In the end I doubt most young people are that worldly, they don't like to hear it but some things really only come with experience/age. Love and relationships is one of those things.
Also the adult does bear the full responsibility, maybe not morally from his/our perspective, but by the law he does, thay fucks things up.
If we're purely talking about 2D then lolis/teens into that shit is super hot:
exhentai.org/g/1019678/610a3f5d3c/

God bless the Japanese for still finding this sort of premise acceptable.

Lose to whom? The exwife? The blonde notgay author? Life?

Someone post that bbc3 docu where that super biased and condescending bitch goes to japan to talk about the epidemic of liking young girls.
She makes like 1 or 2 good points in total, but it all is thrown to shit by her reporting style and preaching. Togami and others got mad at her.
She also gets BTFO not even 5 min into her first try.

I only want to see men who are willing to take responsibility by marrying the younger girl involved in that kind of relationship. As long as he is, then I don't see any moral problem.

Usagi Drop did it quite well I think. I don't see the issue with the pseudo-incest or age-gap angle because the message of the entire series is that love and relationships as a whole is confusing and unconventional.

Although I agree with some on the fact that the time-skip was poorly implemented, I like to think that it was due to pressure from the editor and publisher to speed things along rather from the mangaka herself.

JY/JS/JCs paired with older guys in their teens to twenties hit my sweet spot for couple age gaps.

There are a lot of good shoujo age gap series, for example this one.

Age gap romance is the best.

God, i remember the story about the train man and a girl that like his smell.

I just wanted to post this.

Miman Renai is criminally underrated.

Name? Sounds intersting.
Almost forgot about this one, it´s pretty good.

>Couples where the girl is older than the guy = Dick is diamonds
>Couples where the guy is older than the girl = mmehh
Idk, it never sat well with me.

This one kind of sputters out near the end, but it's still alright overall.

Call me dense, but the ending blindsided me.

>Sensei Lock-On!

And here I was thinking that I was the only one who reads that series.

I find it cute under specific circumstances. In the case of your example I find it incredibly endearing considering it's not him that's being pushy about the relationship. It's her trying show him that's he's not old and worthless.

I like it because the size difference is a real turn on when there's mating press action.

I'm afraid I'll have to call you dense user, because the romantic tension between them was obvious from the very start.

>What does Sup Forums think about couples where the man is much older than the girl?

Just like real life.
Also, not bad at all.

This user knows.

>you will never be a loli who gets pounded by her passionate ikemen lover

but only after his girl has become a bro for him

It's okay if they really love eachother. Just like in real life.

When Usagi Drop did this it ruined the manga for me. It felt rushed, awkward and it ruined father/daughter dynamic that made most of the manga so heartwarming. That said Usagi Drop seems like a worst case scenario because of the whole father/daughter dynamic that gets pushed so hard pretimeskip. So really I wouldn't mind seeing more of it, provided it is done well because when it isn't it just feels horrible.

It's more like I didn't think the madman would actually do it.

In Usagi drop there was a general theme that someone pointed out that was mostly overlooked when people pointed to the Electra Complex arc, that actually makes quite a bit of sense.

The general idea is that women as a whole, especially single mothers or struggling mothers in the first "half" of Usagi drop are portrayed as people who had to sacrifice and put up with the burden that a patriarchal (it works in this context, given traditional Japanese gender roles) society imposes on them. And the latter "half" of Usagi drop portrays the same women as liberated in a sense in that they've made their own decisions about their lives that are unconventional and against the social norm (divorce from a strained relationship, re-marrying after 40, choosing to marry your de-facto father figure).

There was a central theme and it accomplished that, the parenting thing was just a crunchy outer shell that served as a good delivery mechanism. The timeskip felt rushed because the author wanted to take the time to flesh it out but pressure to wrap things up (due to negotiations of possible anime and live action movie) from editors and publisher forced her to do it in a jarring and awkward manner.

you have a mother complex

I wish we could get a mating press tag on sadpanda, maybe someday.

I didn't want the timeskip to happen. I usually like this kind of stuff, but Usagi drop felt so wrong to me.

Awesome.

>t Freud

Literally the cutest thing ever

it's interesting but pretty rare,

Usagi Drop had me hooked in the last volume with Rin's and Daikichi's relationship.

Why post a fucking spoiler in the OP?
Why?

This is my sole fetish. Younger chicks ending up with dashing older gents.

I self-insert into said chicks 100%. I dont' know if it's cause I have daddy issues.

top kek

Amama to Inazuma does this pretty well.

Shame the anime removed Kotori's crush on sensei although I get that they wanted to concetrate on the father-daighter relationship more.
