cooking

Introducing the judges, talking about rules and theme, and no actual cooking.

9 chapters of Souma, Isshiki and Megishima off screened.

This.

I hope the judges are interesting.

I just hope this showdown doesn't take 2-3 months. But considering how important this battle is it probably will.

You mean this specific 3 on 3 or the whole thing. Because there's no way on earth the whole thing will be done in 8-12 chapters.

If any fight gets dragged out I hope its Megishima's or Isshiki's

At least then it'd be somewhat acceptable since this is their first battle

...

...

I bet that Rindou's jacket is red, and it used to be white

Megishima is not fucking around

I want to mind break Nene in a dungeon.

So are we ever going to get a reason why these guys followed Azami?

The two new guys only got promoted due to Azami, so that's a given.

Rindou already said "muh chaos".

We can kind of guess Tsukasa given his talk with Souma during their unofficial shokugeki, though it will likely come up again.

Eizan is actually kind of a mystery, but maybe Azami just promised him more money.

For the remaining three, yeah, we don't know at all.

Damn, my husbando Megishima is so badass. At the beginning, I just thought that even if he is against Azami's administration, he didn't really want to get involved and just wanted to graduate in peace. But here, he's so determinated to job... and we still don't really know his motivations yet. Perhaps he's from a humble background ?

Nene bringing Souma to tears, too bad that's not going to happen

Yeah, Rindou finds that to be on Azami side is funnier.
Eizan,definitly wants power and money.
Eishi, in spite of his "kind/stressed" attitude" is a self-centered guy who think he'll be "stronger" with central. (Remember when he challenged Soma and wanted him on central side only because it'd be good for himself.)
And for the others... no idea.

Yeah, I'm curious why he originally voted against Azami.

Though for entering in this, much like Kuga, I imagine he wants his seat back at minimum. And this is their only real opportunity to get them. On top of that he's graduating soon, unlike Kuga.

It'll be funny to see him as the only one graduating this year with a seat though.

Ramen is considered plebeian food and if he specializes in Ramen then he most likely hated Azami's cooking ideals

So wait. Remember when Mimasaka was first introduced and we found out he had a penchant for stalking his prey and getting every single little detail?
What's the chance Tsukuda remembered this and made use of it?

That's his entire thing. Even back when he helped Souma at the moon festival. I don't think it's going away.

Good time to repost this

>best girl will never appear again

Why continue?

Isshiki doesn't look like it either.

It's supposed to be Tosuke instead of Toshiro

>Isshiki's mysterious faces

Worse than gumi hands.

But will Tsukuda remember this?
I'm guessing he's enough of a shit writer to do something that'll make us think "but shouldn't Mimasaka already KNOW that?"

No TOC and thus fake.

you've honestly lost me.

also it doesn't even introduce the judges, which is obviously going to happen before the cooking starts.

I'm curious about where he's been during the entire promotion exam period. They said that all the other Central rebels were expelled during the third test. Does this mean that Mimasaka aligned with Central before and didn't join the rebels until after that?

I'd like to think that his teammates will benefit immensely from his perfect trace. We'll see.

Gigga, Nao, and Houjou were all shown among the regular students taking the first exam.

Eishi also believes in completely erasing himself from the food he makes. That mindset aligns with the Central's strict policy of not deviating from foods' established cooking methods.

I assumed they were part of the rebels as well, due to Nao's comment and Houjou's stressed look.

China girl was a lesbo for Megumi.

I'm pretty sure they bunched the rebels up on purpose.

I understand that. I'm just wondering whether those three were part of the rebels or not. They never explicitly stated what side they were on.

>But will Tsukuda remember this?
Why would he forgot that? as mentioned its his entire thing, same as Smoke Prince or Hunter Girl.

I don't think they're rebels, although Nao may have quit out of solidarity.

Well, I'd say if they were rebels, then during the third phase they would have faced the E10 like the rest of the rebels and gotten expelled.

I'm pretty sure they were counted as regular students.
