I'm 27 and have no plans on moving out. I don't really make enough to afford an apartment, and I refuse to have roommates. I have no real friends, so I don't have a support network if I have car problems or anything either.
I'm a total virgin and at this point that means I'll probably never get to have a girlfriend or anything, so moving out is basically meaningless anyway.

I moved out at 21, but I kind of wish I hadn't. It was a reckless move since I had no money saved and was living by paycheque... if you still live at home and haven't gone to school yet, take this opportunity to work and save up as much as possible so you can go to school without debt. That's what I would do if I could go back.
