You got any stories to share? Did you btfo any nocoiner leftists?
My personal advice would be to keep your day job and use it like a rainy day fund, other than to help with big expenses (i.e. a move or something like that). You know what they say, it's a lot easier to spend than to make. But that's just me

Depends on how much shekels he got. I would diversify the shit out of it. Probably buy a house and rent it, live from that rent.

>be nocoiner but not anticoin >kinda sad for not buying any coins but w.e. >buy 50k worth shares (mostly amd and nvidia) in early 2016 >sell them for almost 400k before christmas >think about buying a house >told no one about it
Should I tell anyone? Or should I just buy a house out of the blue?
Wyatt Moore
You had your run of luck OP. But bitcoin is shit. There are a fuckload of other coins that are better IMO
Now, my personal take on the whole situation regarding the recent clime of BTC, I have to say, that I sadly did not profit from it, because I had never bought any cryptocurrency. Yeah, technically, if I had bought just 1$ worth of BTC, back when it was less than 1 cent, I would be very rich. The same goes for most other coins. But one other thing that is also true, is that, If I had bought BTC ad 0.01$, I would have surely sold it when it was 100$ (and would never buy BTC again), so I would only make a few grans at most.
BTW, OP, you have enough money not to work for decades......and then what?
Michael Price
Buy a house, nigger. No matter how btc is nice, it's stil volatile as fuck and always will be. If you have this amount, I wouldn't wait a minute to get some solid stuff. House, maybe few flats to rent. Some art or gold even.
Keep some btc and trade for shits and giggles.
Joshua Stewart
Don't let them know your power level and be discrete Kraut

house. still dont tell. pay downpayment, keep investing in tech funds. rent it out. rake in $$
Anthony Nguyen

I really don't want to deal with renters bitching about shit that I need to fix because they are stupid idiots. Is there any way to avoid dealing with that bullshit? Maybe invest in a real estate found?
Henry Bailey
Maybe try your luck investing a little bit into XRP. I was also way too late to the Bitcoin party unfortunately, but Ripple seems promising overall from what little I know I'm happy for you user! I wish I would have done the same as you, but hindsight is always 20/20. Try to make the most of your newfound wealth
Nolan Wilson
How and where can I buy bitcoin? I see NEETfags making bank off this shit 24/7!
Camden Allen
I'm unironically a nazi and i'm a millionaire due to bitcoin. there are thousands of us. we no longer censor ourselves because we don't need jobs to sustain ourselves. we're out of debt and own income producing assets. the future is going to be very fun.
Grayson Martin
Salute anons. I order all /ourguys/ to get into this stuff, this is how we maintain ourselves as a group in the new world.
Brody Gonzalez
Bitcoin will ruin western economy, it's basically printing money from electricity. You have enough trouble with jew central banks tirelessly printing money and now you also became the moneyprinting jew
Isaac Stewart
first off go to /biz/ daily. buy bitcoin at coinbase.com, or gemini.com, or localbitcoins.com. but i recommend buying bitcoin cash or ethereum. bitcoin (BTC) has too many problems I just don't see it being able to fix. if it were, they'd already be fixed. you can also look at all the coins at coinmarketcap.com
Kek Even as a broke mother fucker I dont buy cheap cigars like that
Adrian Morris
The only thing worse than being a nocoiner is being a mediocre coiner. I flip crypto a lot and there are two trades in particular that if I would have just held for a little longer I would be pushing a half million dollars but I'm not.
Oh well, I can make a decent 5 fig return but unless I am holding the right alts when lightning strikes a couple times over I will never become a millionaire.
Zachary Clark
The is nothing backing hard currency any more than bitcoin. It's value comes from its veracity, which is almost unparalleled, the investments into it, and the hard work to acquire it. No different from the dollar.
Christian Bennett
Would you guys have any other recommendations based on your experiences by chance? I hate being a faggot like this, I just feel like I've missed the boat and it makes me want to shoot myself in the face sometimes. Do either of you think there's a realistic chance to grab some significant piece of the/a pie one way or another, or has the ship pretty much sailed? Besides currently waiting for my account to verify on Bitstamp (intending to buy the XRP I mentioned), I only have about 65 USD in Bitcoin.
Wyatt Brooks
i have over 1 million worth in stamps, they grow more in worth every year, are stamps the first cryptocurrency?
Carson Taylor
That's not enough capital to make any real money. Even if you make 3 perfect trades where they each 10x, go up by 1000%, you will end up with 65k, whereas if you had even 1k to start you would have a million bucks.
Get more capital and do it quickly because the window on this is closing.
Christian Howard

Follow him for starters and get into the scene, get a feel for the market.

The highest risk/reward strategy is to invest in shitcoins with extremely small market caps, I'm talking sub 10 million dollars. These shitcoins are not traded on every exchange since they are so small and not well known, this is also what gives them the potential to skyrocket in price, getting in early on shitcoins can make you 10,000% return, but you can also lose everything.
These types of shitcoins are generally traded on cryptopia and yobit. If you buy a coin and don't want to keep it ont he exchange you have to download that coins wallet.
The next level of risk are coins in the 10m-25m marktcap range, still the 10,000% gain possibility, but that is much, much less likely. You can trade these coins on more respected exchanges such as bittrex.
If I had a few thousand in cash available today, I would buy gridcoin or ember
Colton Young
live like a hobo until .01 BTC equals land
Gabriel Nguyen
My advise read investment literature and don't put everything in too few investments (diversify). I would look into farmland/forest thats often very safe and can feed you and a place to be. I would advise against the flat especially in the citys they are to expensive, if compared to the monthly cashflow they generate at least in most urban areas (local exeptions do exist). Don't tell others too much about your Financial situation. Don't forget to enjoy it in moderation. Good luck.
Chase Ward
I'm considering making my first crypto investments into ripple. Is this a good idea?
Jackson Phillips
no art you stupid fuck. Stick with real estate. Invest in green energy futures. Stuff that makes you actual dividends. They count stock as liabilities on your balance sheet, so you want your market holding lower if you plan to invest in money makers.

Unless you have 100k to invest, Ripple is not going to make you rich.
Ripple has the 3rd highest market cap (55 billion) of any crypto. If it equaled bitcoins market cap (260 billion) tomorrow you would still only make around a 500% return. This is never going to happen obviously, and even with growth overtime I doubt ripple will ever break 250b market cap.
The point is, you're too late to the party to become a millionaire by buying "safe" cryptos.
Adam Jenkins
30 BTC at this USD price will not sustain you for decades you idiot

There are millennials living with their parents, who do have a 100.000s. But the homes in certain areas are often still to expensive. You can be for or aganist that. Anyway what really means "rich" a 25 year old with 100.000 or 200.000 is certainly rich if compared to People in his age group. But he isn't really rich, if compared to the boomers who once bought their home for some thousand dollars and are now worth millions.
Aaron Russell
I bought ripple when it hit a dollar a week or so ago, it’s alrrady up 40% and has potential to reach 1k in a few years. If it it’s 1k I will be multi millionaire. Get in and sit on it.
Kayden Rogers
best advice. get into real phsyical assets. Farm land or perhaps untended lots along the highway near your city. Find something with a gentile slope and develop it. A mortgage on untended land (maybe 10-20 acres) would be like $250/mo. Take another 5-6k and rent a backhoe for a week and just design some swale on the slope in your lot.
Bam! Prepped farm land. You just added 20k in value with little to no effort. Build a small house with septic + solar. Looking at around $110 for a modern set up. You now own $300k in real estate.
sauce: I did this myself. 2 years of planning and saving.
Hudson Powell
The curve of coin supply is much steeper than the curve of increasing gpu processing power. Try again dipshit.
The concern with proof of work based crypto isn't processing power tanking the price, it's the amount of electricity that is going to be sucked up from mining.

We've been together 3 1/2 years, and you still work at a gas station" >Starts withholding sex >Eventually, I tell her that I can't take the lack of sex or emotional distance, so I'm leaving >Quit school, head to tech city >Get shitty job for a year, just to get my resume padded >After a year, I double my income by switching to a new place >After three years, I jump to another for 30% raise >ex girlfriend flies to come see me >comes to my work >"Oh, you've got a car, a smart phone, a nice apartment! I'm happy for your gains but Ripple will never even come close to 1k. THe current market cap is 55 billion, to get to 1k each the market cap would have to be about 40 trillion dollars. To put that in perspective the total marketcap of the NYSE is 21 trillion. You need to get a basic understanding of the stage of development your coin is in and the possibilities for growth if you want to make a lot.
Isaac Gonzalez
>>buy 50k worth shares (mostly amd and nvidia) in early 2016 >>sell them for almost 400k before christmas
LARPER! Those are a couple of dollars a share and have floated around the same price for almost 20 years. They never go above $10. Are you saying amd in that short amount of time raised their shares and profits by 800%?
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!
Crypto currencies haven't rose that and computer companies such as amd are never profit gaining stocks, they meet no of the market conditions. AMD barely breaks even.
Why people larp about this is beyond me.

I agree, but there are places were their only option is driving to work for hours and even some cases were they don't earn enough for the driving, the home and the living costs. So i think the millennials aren't fully to blame, at least not all.
Kayden Ward
What's so hard to understand?
For the sake of a very simple example lets say there are two coins.
Coin A: Market cap of 50 billion dollars, each coin is worth $1
Coin B: Market cap of 10 million dollars, each coin is worth $0.02
Which coin do you think has the potential to give you a great percentage return? The really large mature coin or the small speculative coin that could never amount to anything or be the next coin to reach 50 billion market cap?
Michael Cook
Buy houses you fools. Paying rent will deplete your budget and you can rent the houses you own in order to make a stable income

that's fair. i can agree with that.

Is it too late to start investing in bitcoin or cryptocurrency now? I wish i had all the means to mine it back then.
Oliver Gomez
It isn't as simple as that. I would agree to a larger extend if we weren't in the a rapidly inflating houseing bubble. You need to go throught the cashflow values currently renting especially in the higher segment is cheaper than buying (in most places). The safe option is often Farmland/forest.
Asher White

where does the value come from? speculation, there is absolutely no value in the coinage and any hope as a currency disappeared the moment it entered circulation and hoarding started. B*tcoin is a case study on why economies need centeral banks
the only reason it has ever picked up value is because of currency manipulation, then used to convince retarded ""journalists"" it's the real deal who then sell it as a stock option to boomers

So here is what actually happened. You were late to the bitcoin party. You put what little money you had in, but let's be honest, you're a ten-thousandaire if you manage to cash out. This is because you're a failson, while your siblings are accomplished academics.
On Christmas, while your family were exchanging adult gifts, you got toys because you don't have a life and need real things. You need things to distract you from your endless boredom that comes with being this utterly useless leach that lives with mommy and daddy.
You felt immaculateness, as you should, you failed man. But then you remembered your bitcoins, and you rushed to your internet hugbox in order to post a story about how you totally owned your sisters with your bitcoins, and how you're totally successful and not at all some petty nerd desperate for validation that some day your pretend internet money is going to take you to the moon.
Zachary Campbell
Its real value come both from black market goods (drugs) and speculation. Take it as a virtual currency in a stock market simulator. A very good description. The value is a lie though because the DCE's eat a fuckton with fees and are known to simply take it all from time to time.
Logan Smith
i got pepes too. look i understand. you are a manchild with no bank account and you don't dare to ask mommy for a loan. so you bet your entire sanity into cryptocurrency falling. but 8.5/10 if trolling.
