Major mainstream medical organizations like the KNMG and Danish Pediatric Society say that infant circumcision is mutilation and has no health benefits strong enough to justify it.
The American Academy of Pediatrics position on the issue has a lot of problems; it's self-contradictory for one thing. You can read more about it here.
