As long as we get more of her ass in the new season, I don't even care if it's bad.

So many anime that got cancelled and won't have more seasons and they chose to make a season 3 of cg after a conclusive ending.

FPBP

But nothing got ruined.

This is the main reason why I wanted Lelouch to stay dead. Being alive not only means that it betrays his character development of wanting to die to acknowledge his sins, but acting as a parallel of Suzaku who wanted to die but is instead forced to live forever.

Lelouch being alive the entire time is a punch in the face to Suzaku.

It's going to fuel Creayus to draw C.C.'s ass for the rest of her life so it's a fair trade off.

As long as I get more of Villetta's brown sugar in the new season, I don't even care if it's bad.

If it's garbage it could end up ruining C.C. for her

wait, new season?

ugh really? how many fucking years has it been? I think I was watching that shit when I was still in high school

Yep.

Season 2 was completely retarded from start to finish, but people choose to defend it because the ending was emotionally satisfying. How about you actually think about the ending again instead of feeling about it like a woman. How did Lelouch dying fix anything? Wars are going to stop because one bad guy died? Did Hitler dying stop wars because I'm pretty sure there's been constant war almost the entire time since then. Sure you might be emotionally unsatisfied by the series continuing but logically it should, because the story is not actually resolved.

Making it look like he died but he gets away with it is perfectly in character. Suzaku is not forced to live forever

Reminder that the first tv airing ended with a shot of the driver (obviously Lelouch) smirking. It was removed because S3 was not happening.

Did he want to die to acknowledge his sins though? He died because that was the solution to how he would destroy the world and create it again. Which was his goal throughout the whole series.

I expect the new series will say that he fully expected to die and stay dead, but he became immortal unknowingly when he was chocked by his farther.

Nice try

just google it.

I'm okay with sacrificing the ending for more content. CG isn't a holy cow.

I thought my memory's playing tricks on me when I watched BDs for the first time a month ago.

War stops because post lelouch dying, the black knights/notNATO essentially control the world. Its difficult to start a war when you are in a federation with everyone on the planet.

i get to see more Lelouch in my lifetime,I regret nothing

you just wanted to make CG thread and knew this would guarantee replies,am i right?

i think you don't know the power of her LOYALTY

literally more than 8 years and where the fuck have you been

>Did Hitler dying stop wars because I'm pretty sure there's been constant war almost the entire time since then.

Yeah, who would guess coddling uncle joe and Soviet Union would end in any other way...

And the Allies controlled the world post WW2. It wont last.

I have the tv rip on my harddrive still and that cut to the driver doesn't happen. Points for making me check though.

they obviously didn't, the cold war immediately followed against the comintern, and most nations which are wartorn today were never part of NATO or the allies

for the record, f/a/ggot, immortality in code geass has been shown as fate worse than death. It makes perfect sense If lelouch wanted to punish himself with living with what he's done for all eternity, plus being around in case peace gets disturbed

>Making it look like he died but he gets away with it is perfectly in character.
I disagree. Throughout the series Lelouch clearly was of the belief that he had to die to atone for his sins. He even admits himself that there's a better plan than Zero Requiem that wouldn't involve killing himself, but he's too far gone. This is reinforced again in the light novella where he reveals Suzaku is his only friend before they initiate Zero Requiem.

To have him suddenly go back on this goes against his character and makes him look like a dick for rusing his only friend yet again.

There better be a REALLY good reason, or it's just going to turn out shit like Akito did.

Most of the countries that became war torn did so because the U.S. and the Soviet Union engaged in proxy wars and today the same happens with the U.S. and Russia. You think we invaded Syria because they're "bad guys"? War is a part of human nature. The only reason we haven't had a world war 3 4 5 and 6 by now is because Nuclear bombs make direct war between super powers incredibly devastating.

CC looks so damn good in that outfit.

Sooooooo what's your point

If the allies had invaded the soviet union in 1946 and nuked the shit out of them and won a total victory, the proxy wars would never have happened.

>The only reason we haven't had a world war 3 4 5 and 6 by now is because Nuclear bombs make direct war between super powers incredibly devastating.

No, go to /k/ and ask for Opp.
Maybe he will be kind and enlighten you.

>he had to die to atone for his sins
That was Suzaku, you're completely mistaken.

If it wasn't the soviet union it would have been someone else. Maybe Germany again, maybe China. Those resources are too tasty. Everyone wants control of the worlds resources.

Rreminder that those who think that
understood nothing about CG:

>Maybe Germany again,
yes, the germany who was completely and utterly broken and has never once regained its idealogical freedom after the propaganda of the two germanies era

>maybe China.
China is allied with soviet union in 1946, you nuke one you nuke the other and obtain total victory over both. Neither of them had nukes until the 50s, and certainly not enough capability to deliver them until ICBMs.

Okay well maybe if you nuke every single remote challenge to the world super power you could achieve peace. I don't believe Lelouch did that though so I don't see your point.

Again, the giant ass federation LITERALLY encompassed every nation on the planet. How are you gonna fight the entire world as one of these smaller countries, or even brittania, especially with the FLEIJA?

> Did Hitler dying stop wars
Did Hitler ever conquer THE ENTIRE FUCKING WORLD?
> How about you actually think
Oh, the irony

You're not seeing my point. The Allies either encompassed or controlled every nation on earth after WW2. Just because you are in an alliance that does not mean you have to be forever.

>The Allies either encompassed or controlled every nation on earth after WW2
oh yes because the ADVERSARY OF THE ALLIES FOR THE ENTIRE FUCKING COLD WAR WAS CONTROLLED BY THE ALLIES

wrong

When is the next season airing?

Yes but each one had their own army, in CG the only army in the federation is the Black Knights wich are at Zero's command and they won't do shit unless the federation as a whole give them an order.

U.S.S.R was part of the allies tard

Blue pilled normal detected. Please note the word controlled. For example, Russia controls Syria right now which is why we're invading them. The entire point of the cold war was the U.S. and the U.S.S.R fighting to steal control of various vassal states from each other. This is called geopolitics.

It's not, he's trolling

ok ok nice trolling you got me for a second there

>U.S.S.R was part of the allies

Technically true, but it stopped being relevant after WW2. They only allied because of the war and weren't allied afterwards

I don't care that the ending was perfect. I rewatched it a couple of weeks ago and the episode in R2 when Zero manages to move all of the black knights out of japan made me realize one thing.

I never want to get off of Mr Lelouch's Wild Ride

wish I knew

They were not really part of the allies. The got support due to the fact that they got attacked.

this
the ultimate absolute madman

I always love these graphics that involve military allies because africa is 9/10 shaded out grey or white
>inb4 empires

Well South Africa was certainly part of the alliance.

>I wanted Lelouch to stay dead.
He never died though.

An ambiguous ending with debates on dead or alive is not a perfect ending. We need closure.

Lelouch was always alive retard. Look at CC's eye when she said Lelouch. She looked at the driver's seat.

Reminder that you are stupid if you thought he was dead.

If he never knew that he was immortal then you can't really blame Lelouch, right?
When he revived, he was disappointed that his part of the Zero Requiem was failed but still he had to deal with it.
As long as he wasn't around, everything would work out after all.

It was obvious he was alive, but you had all these naysayers trying to quote the director during the Birthday Special.

It won't be a perfect ending without pic related.

ITT: Stupid motherfuckers don't get that Lelouch really DID die, he just didn't stay that way. Whether or not he meant for this to happen is another issue entirely

I don't get it, why did Kallen dye her hair green?

(You) almost got me, mah man

lelouch is still alive

Fuck you and your machine translations to hell.

the majority of the allies' leaders were pseudo fascists. The alliance had never been a truly friendly one, and churchill and stalin had always hated eachother. This is completely different to the organization at the end of CG

Its a FANMADE ENDING

Should I watch Akito before R3 hits? Is it relevant to the main story?

Reminder that Lulu was alive in the original ending and it's perfectly fine to continue the story, especially since we've had years to enjoy the original ending.

Both wanted to die, you're mistaken. Like I said, he admits ZR wasn't the best plan, but he stopped giving a shit.

>If he never knew that he was immortal then you can't really blame Lelouch, right?
I guess not, but they'll have to do a good job of writing the story after that.

Why couldn't they do 12 episodes of random, fun, fanservice? Something like the Alice in Wonderland OVA but with a real budget.
