Why is Japan so hellbent on reminding us of Nagasaki?

Why is Japan so hellbent on reminding us of Nagasaki?

To be fair its a pretty scarring event at national level. It leaves a mark on the culture.

Cute anime/manga girls bring the world together with love.

just watched the film.. didnt even think of that.. now questioning everything from sliced bread to why I really wipe from back to front. life is a lie

They are the only nation that has been nuked.
They kind of have exclusive first hand rights to use that as a basis for their culture.

They're not. You're just a retard.

this is true.. theyve taken it pretty fucking well in retrospect......

Why compare it to Nagasaki? It's not like that is the only city they've had destroyed. Even in the war they lost more people in other cities in a single day. More than 10,000 people died from the tsunami six years ago as well.

Why does it have to be about the nukes?

>wiping from back to front
What?

We could compare it to Fukushima instead.

I kinda had that thought today actually.

All of my kids are from one of the evacuation zones, so they were all country village children with about one convenience store who are now living in a large town or city and it's probably part of the reason why the movie/story is so popular among them, because they have empathetic connection to it.

But that's probably not what you were thinking about.

You're a JET-kun?

Not with JET, but an ALT, yes.

Why is U.S. so hellbent on reminding us of 9/11?

Why do white people get so mad when they're reminded of their atrocities?

>wiping back to front
You better not be a girl.

Because three million people died in 9/11.

>Why is Japan so hellbent on reminding us of Nagasaki?

Say what, mate?

Threadly reminder that you should fuck off.

Hmmm. This seems familiar. I think I might have read this synopsis before.

Because we nuked the everloving shit out of it.
