Playing video games is a waste of time

If you get something out of it just like a book is it really a waste?

In general, I agree with this post

Have a bump OP. This is a great idea

>implying video games can ever be compared to books

Thank you fellow john, we need more polacks to join in. The door is open guys, join the discussion !

If you're older than 22 games are generally a waste of time. Unless you want to make the argument about the stories I might agree with you, but the gaming industry is way too kiked these days to really matter. Strategy games that help keep the mind sharp, okay I guess.

pt 2

100% there is good and bad in whatever media/support being used

has another list

I was actually looking for this list but all the past sig threads are deleted. I will make this a perm in our following /pcg/ threads. Thank you for your contribution

obligatory

White Power - George Rockwell is mandatory, pretty dense book.

...

I still play cruzaders kings, man.

Anything Commander Rockwell is mandatory.

youtube.com/watch?v=MShXEiA-1RI

don't like White Power?

CK is a whole other story, nigga.

I was agreeing and amplifying. Anything written by Commander Rockwell is mandatory.

I see. Saved all of your pics. I will buy one of those eletronic e-book readers that read PDF's. do you reccomend? I'm low on cash.

it depends about the context, if you're older than 35yaers... maybe 30years you should know this, if you're a gamer or even somewhat gamer.

only played the fist one, was intence, found it funny to hav commisars on my ass and see them shooting at your npc soldiers, waking you up to move foreward when you take a brake seening wat to do...
i could only pitt these peasants and that stupid order from stalin lol.

no clue. I'm will be homeless before I go e-book. there was a pic that I guess I didn't save that had quotes from what I'm assuming was from "The young Hitler I knew" in which a childhood friend helps him carry his luggage to the train station because Uncle Adolf couldn't stand living at home at 18 years of age. When the friend asked what was in the 4 suitcases since they were so heavy, Hitler replied, "All my possessions," they were almost entirely books.

here's a link to a bunch of PDFs and shit

There was a better list posted on /lit/ a few months back but not in image form. Reposting it:

Here's a real Romans reading list. "Mandatory" authors are starred, but all are worth spending some time with. Vaguely chronological order within genres.

Epic:
Ennius - Annales (fragments)
*Lucretius - De Rerum Natura
*Virgil - *Eclogues, *Georgics, **Aeneid
*Ovid - **Metamorphoses
*Lucan - Pharsalia
Statius - Thebaid
Silius Italicus - Punica

Drama:
*Plautus - *Pseudolus, Miles Gloriosus, Amphitruo
*Terence - Andria, Hecyra, Phormio, *Adelphoe

Non-epic poetry:
*Catullus
*Horace - Epodes, Odes, *Satires/Sermons, Ars Poetica
Tibullus
Propertius
*Ovid - *Amores, *Heroides, *Ars Amatoria
*Juvenal - Satires
Statius - Silvae
Martial - epigrams

Prose fiction ("novels"):
Apocolocyntosis
Petronius - Satyricon
*Apuleius - Metamorphoses/Golden Ass

Rhetoric:
*Cicero - *In Catilinam 1 & 3, **Philippic 2, Pro Milone, Pro Caelio
(if interested in theory as well:
Rhetorica ad Herennium, Seneca the Elder's rhetoric handbook, Quintilian)

Historiography:
*Caesar - Comentarii
*Sallust - *Bellum Catilinae, Bellum Jugurthae
Livy - as much as you want / until you get bored
Res Gestae divi augusti
*Tacitus - Agricola, Historiae, *Germania, **Annales
Suetonius - 12 Caesars
Ammianus Marcellinus - again, just what you want

And I don't care much about philosophy, but if I did, it would go here. If it would really help to make one of those dumb charts, I guess I could.

Can we get some classic Sup Forums tier videos?
