doesn't count if no one wins

KamiNomi comes to mind
>inb4 Chihiro was the first to fall in love with Keima
She still wasn't introduced first.

madoka...
>homura was introduced first
hmm

...

Yeah Homura's first via the usual "prophetic dreams/flashback" so she doesn't count.

Hardly counts. True route has first girl win. Shitty anime adaptions are just that, shit.

naruto and in
yahari Komachi wins

I am not with the first girl I met does that count

Evangelion.

TWGOK

No actual winner.

One one girl has a romantic interest in the MC and she wins.
Yahari hasn't ended yet.

No actual winner.

Asuka.

Being alive at the end does not equate to winning.

Shuffle.

does this count?

I think the competition being eliminated does constitute a win.

Oh btw, I meant that the girl in both of these are not the first girl but still won.

Yunyun winning really surprised me, that's for sure.

Huh, is KonoSuba done already?

The first girl didn't win. But the first guy won.

Pic related famously. You'd have known if you were old enough.

Good riddance.

It took 20+ replies before someone post it.

Haven't finished it yet (vol 15) but Manaka doesn't deserve anyone.

easy

I'm not so sure this counts as Pizza girl can arguably be called the first girl.

Naruto and Hinata, most famous couple

Morons. Hinata and Orihime are first. First girl rule is something that you apple to characters who have a romantic interest in the MC, not just any female in the series.

Naruto liked Sakura since the beginning though.

No he didn't. He just wanted to beat Sasuke as something.

>First girl rule is something that you apple to characters who have a romantic interest in the MC, not just any female in the series.
No? 'First girl' is the first girl that gets introduced. It doesn't matter if she has a romantic interest in the MC or not.

Stop being new, you have no idea what you're talking about. First girl is something that only applies to romantic premises. "First girl" has never meant just the first girl shown in the series, I'm not sure why you think it would, considering people always talk about first girl winning.

Nah let me correct it. "First girl" refers to the girl who is the foremost focus in the first episode/arc for the MC. This is for cases where the "mysterious new girl" that sometimes appear later in the episode after the MC has met his friends(with some as girls obviously) or for cases where the girl first appears in a flashback/dream that the MC is bothered until the character shows up later.

This is also a correction for the "childhood friend" archetype, which often show up "first" to wake up the MC as they get to school or just meet him in the classroom before other girls.
They can still be "first girl" though, if the MC constantly thinks of or notices them as a girl in the first episode/arc and they start getting closer but then new girls keep showing up which causes a delay in the relationship development.

Even other series that aren't focused on romance, typically have the main boy and girl get together you know?

Otonashi and Yuri never had that kind of relationship in the first place

Also became a running joke.

Eh it just didn't grow to that but here were some tease and potential though. I remember ep 2 had one where Otonashi was holding onto her during the lava part and he said "she smells nice".

That's not much of a teasing.

Neither first girl (Leone) nor title girl (Akame) won, and the one who won had sex and kids with the MC.

RE:zero. felt was first girl technically and there is zero romantic tension between her and toyota

It is never too late for orange tears.

to be fair the guy still love his wife

when it comes to oranges, would you say you prefer long hair or shorter hair like this girl?

Nah, he got over it. He just went gay.
