Yes It is basically full blown regeneration. All Might would be back into his prime, but that would probably destroy all the years of resistance he built up to holding OfA. Making his body like brand new would in turn make it so he could never take back OfA.

I think Deku will probably end up getting a Spider-man style treatment with subtle ink shading and a leaner frame than bulkmasters like All Might. His shoot-style maneuvering reminds me of the dynamic poses of 90's Spider-man. Plus Hori is a huge fanboy of spidey.

The state of All Might's integrity

Deku was an objectively bad candidate. All Might just had a soft spot for his situation

Nah, Deku is a solid candidate but he also lacked a lot of the training and experience that someone who grew up with their quirk already has. He also was a manlet up until he started training.

What made him worthy was his drive to help others. Now this drive is double edged and it has harmed him as much as it helps others. And I think autist-kun makes a solid point that Deku lacks the will to win a lot of the time in favor of helping others. But I don't think Deku was an 'objectively' bad candidate.

However yeah, on Paper Mirio is the much better person to choose and I understand Deku's anguish right now.

Again, and I agree, it's Hori stretching things(because he thinks he's being soooooo clever) with this arc, the quirk description was "See what ACTIONS the target will TAKE up for the next hour", but not "See what HAPPENS to the target."
