Christianity General

God Bless, brothers and sisters.

Enough with the divide and conquer threads. All devout Christians are welcome here.
Here we share the redpills and thoughts on Christianity, beautiful soul-healing music, etc.

We have to understand that a lot of money was pumped into:
a) making people forsake Christianity, leading into state of disunity
b) making people believe it failed, leading into state of defeatism
c) demonization of it, leading people to hate it

c) was the state of Christianity at its beginnings, and it had less followers than it has now. Strong eschatology and great works of kindness and martyrdom made so many people adopt it in the first place, so a) is irrelevant. As for b), it can be changed by faith, the one thing God demands that we have.

So don't fall for Satan's treachery, brothers and sisters. Only the Lord can save us, but we must have faith and endure.

Don't reply to @154836596, he is either an idiot or a shill.

Christianity is the root of our morality, so spreading it is equal to reviving the spirit of our nations. The state of faithlessness has lead us to the dark place we are in now.
Therefore, Christianity is in this sense a political topic, and it belongs on this board.

Also, comparing those r/TheDonald heretics to us is yet another shill tactic. Don't get baited!

Contributing the gems from yesterday's thread.

As a counter to 2d degeneracy ofcourse.

Their moral is based on the idea that X is good or bad only because God says that X good or bad. They belive that something is good only because God says it is. They just dont care about pain, suffering or happines. If God had said that it's good to plant bombs in crowded marketplaces and blow up mens, womens and childrens as they go about their daily business, then that would be a good thing to do. Conversely if God had said it's wrong to help somebody in distress when you can easily help them then it would be wrong to help a stranger in distress. And God actually had said that murdering gays is not bad, cruelty to animals is not bad, commiting genocide is not bad(book of numbers 31). As Cardinal Newman had sayd: "Sin is worse than pain. No amount of pain could be as bad as the least amount of sin." And christians actually hold this "morality".

Top of my head.

sorry, but it was just right there. can't be helped

So have I, brother.

Can you tell me a story about it, though? How did it happen? What was your state of mind at the time?

The Byzantine Empire, also referred to as the Eastern Roman Empire, was the continuation of the Roman Empire in the East during Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages, when its capital city was Constantinople (modern-day Istanbul, which had been founded as Byzantium). It survived the fragmentation and fall of the Western Roman Empire in the 5th century AD and continued to exist for an additional thousand years until it fell to the Ottoman Turks in 1453.[1] During most of its existence, the empire was the most powerful economic, cultural, and military force in Europe. Both "Byzantine Empire" and "Eastern Roman Empire" are historiographical terms created after the end of the realm; its citizens continued to refer to their empire as the Roman Empire (Greek: Βασιλεία τῶν Ῥωμαίων, tr. Basileia tôn Rhōmaiōn; Latin: Imperium Romanum),[2] or Romania (Ῥωμανία), and to themselves as "Romans."[3]

I have a question:

>is the deity you believe in the same one as described in the Bible?

Byzantine architecture is the architecture of the Byzantine Empire, also known as the Later Roman or Eastern Roman Empire. Byzantine architecture was mostly influenced by Roman and Greek architecture. It began with Constantine the Great when he rebuilt the city of Byzantium and named it Constantinople[1] and continued with his building of churches [2] and the forum of Constantine. This terminology is used by modern historians to designate the medieval Roman Empire as it evolved as a distinct artistic and cultural entity centered on the new capital of Constantinople rather than the city of Rome and environs. The empire endured for more than a millennium. Its architecture dramatically influenced the later medieval architecture throughout Europe and the Near East, and became the primary progenitor of the Renaissance and Ottoman architectural traditions that followed its collapse.

@154837645
Bullshit. God created all of us and He loves all of us, and the laws of the Bible are the laws designed for us to make ourselves and each other happier in the long run, which is all God wants.

Sin is worse than pain, because sinning might feel good in the moment, but the pain from it is inevitable and lasting. I learned this the hard way, and later figured out that if I had only read the Bible when I was young, none of my misfortunes would have happened.

Yes, the loving and forgiving Lord.

No worries.
I was an atheist, at my absolute lowest. I felt a hand press down on the top of my head. When it lifted I felt waves wash over me of what I now know was the blood of Jesus Christ. I just knew God was real. That Jesus was the physical manifestation of God on earth.

Nno worries

...

The very fact that the human mind can perceive an entity that is perfect in all ways that we can not fathom, being that we are conceiving and concerned with something that is un-fathomable, brings to merit that an all-powerful and inconceivable, perfect-in-all-ways “God” - can and does exist, since our very nature constitutes the ready meaning of a set-in yearning for perfection within divinity. We are divine, yet we live just as fallen creatures as humans, yet still we have a relationship with God, being that we can conceptualize God’s existence as being a superior level of consciousness than our own. Our ability to create and be conscious and lucid necessitates a creator.

>Yes, the loving and forgiving Lord.

So the one that didn't forgive Adam or Eve? The one that didn't love the Egyptians? That "loving" and "forgiving" lord?

> Its architecture dramatically influenced the later medieval architecture throughout Europe and the Near East, and became the primary progenitor of the Renaissance and Ottoman architectural traditions that followed its collapse.

I agree, blind assertions without evidence tend to be for the less intelligent

Amen. Despite all that's going on in the US, there still people here that still understand what is foretold in Revelations.

Hmmm... Sorry to disappoint you, brother, but that doesn't sound like Him.

Me, I used to be an atheist, a prodigal son who left Christianity (which I didn't really understand back then), but slowly over time I have turned back to Christ.
I had by then realized that the entities I communicated with with drugs, rituals and such were not my subconscious, and not divine, but demonic.
Still, at that point, I had many addictions and emotional weaknesses, so I was still in pain. But when I came to the logical conclusion that God must exist, after a while, I started to pray, more and more desperately and more and more honestly, for Him to contact me.
I let out a final spiritual scream for a sign and then I was about to carry on with my path of self-destruction, while begging Him to forgive my weakness.
That's when all the God's great works in my life flashed before my eyes, every time he saved me from myself and every time he gave me a sign, which I ignored, and most importantly, in a second, He forgave me and made me forgive myself.

That is how God touches you, brother. What you described to me sounds more like a demon. Either way, read the Bible, including the old versions, and understand it fully. If that entity tells you something contrary to God's will and divine love, take it as a proof that it is, in fact, demonic.

>this (((Brit))) again
The Lord's love is fatherly, not motherly. A father will let the child touch the stove once, so child would know what it means to get burnt and learn from the experience. A mother would keep the child under a glass bell its whole life if need be, so the child would never get hurt, but as a result, sooner or later, the child would get hurt one way or another and due to mother's smothering love, be unprepared for it.
The Lord does forgive those who ask for forgiveness, but he will not grab you by the hand if you turn the other way.

>I had by then realized that the entities I communicated with with drugs, rituals and such were not my subconscious, and not divine, but demonic.
And how do/did you know this?

...

Even though I do believe in God and am Christian, I do not practice any form of it and do not follow dogma.

Also I think that Christianity needs to reunite with a common reinvention so to speak, which allows for personal freedom and agency a-la Ayn Rand to be a basic principle of Christianity.

Thoughts?

...

Did you have a point or are you just going to post these pictures?

I think the red horse is activated now

It was God.

Is it just me or all Serbs other than me are super Christian I mean i didn't see a single Serbian shitposter around here.

...

What they told me was very misleading. I have received the proof that they don't originate from within early on, when they revealed some things to me I had never even heard of before.
Still, these truths were merely vehicles for their messages. Most of them boiled down to accepting the evil inside as part of me and something that makes me stronger, but it ended up making me miserable and almost destroying me.
Then I found God, read the Bible and saw that it warns us about this: Only demons show themselves to anyone in order to gain their faith, but God only shows Himself to those who believe.

How do you know? Also, what was your state of mind in that very moment? What were you thinking, what were you feeling?

I used to be a fedora 5 years ago, and was spiritual, but not religious 2 years ago, but slowly learned that Christianity is the way to go.

What about me?

Ah, so the deity in your mind doesn't match up with the one in scripture. Classic Christian, really.

Agree with this , be blessed in the lord

...

Have you seen my thread on /x/? Its not up now, havent postedit in a few weeks. I use the same pic as my first post here.

Idk i thought you were a different country. Technically.

Could you repeat it, please? As I said, the Lord doesn't just grab you by the hand and guide you. You have to have addressed Him in some way if that was indeed the Lord.

The demons I communicated with sometimes appeared as Jesus, St. Nicholas, Virgin Mary, etc, but they slowly started feeding me the wrong message, turning me evil and even igniting my self-hatred, which true God struck from my heart in an instant.

@154839438
Nice bait, kike.

I have a message and a warning God has entrusted me to deliver to the world. First off, I'll how I received the message. I had been an atheist for 22 years, from 6 to 28, and lived a life full of sin. When I was 28 I decided I was going to start a religion as a way to fix my financial situation. Sitting in my room I was scheming of a way to kick it off. I had a head full of nonsense when what felt like a hand press down on my head, when the pressure lifted and it was a very physical feeling, I was over come by what I then thought of as buckets of water dump over me. I now know that I had been washed in the blood of Jesus Christ. When it was over I knew God was real, and that Jesus Christ was the physical manifestation of God on earth. I sat on my bed to sort out what had just happened. I shortly realized God had given me something else.

The Holy Trinity is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is the 3 ways that God has shown himself to man.

>the Father=Judaism
God chose the Hebrew people to deliver His laws to us, the Ten Commands.

>the Son=Christianity
God came to us through His only begotten Son who he set to be sacrificed to and forgive man of our original Sin and set an example to live by.

>the Holy Spirit=Islam
Through the Holy Spirit we are promised eternal life of in Christ with the knowledge that our first Sin was forgiven, so therefore all our sins could forgiven.

God had always intended for there to be only 1 church, 1 faith but because man is flawed, the Pharisees denied Christ splitting Christianity from Judaism. So the stage was set for when the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ, not the arch angel Gabriel, came to Mohammed to deliver the Quran Mohammeds successor rewrote the Quran to be used as a tool for earthly power.

Now with all this in mind, God gave me a warning to the comig of the synagogue Satan. The state of Israel, the Vatican city, and the kingdom of Saudi Arabia are going to authority as the capitols of the three faith to join them into 1. Since it will be organized as means of control, and with out recognition of the Holy Trinity, it will be not be the so-called Church of God. After the Church of Satan has been formed the Antichrist will reveal himself and take his seat at the the head of the great abomination.

To those who may say that I made this up, as I had said I had intended to start a religion for profit, God promised me that if I took one cent in exchange for His message, no one would ever believe a word of it and I would suffer the rest of my days and be cast into the pit when I die. But, if I deliver His message gainlessly, my name would be destroyed, I will remain in financial ruin, and I will die alone having never been scaived by my many enemies who will hate me for His message.

God bless you OP, and have a blessed day!

Sorry brother, but this doesn't sound like God at all. And this was the way in which Satan works and how I recognized him in my visions, and it perfectly matches your story:
1) Puts you inside a psychedelic state while you are awake and interacts with you physically.
2) Tells you you're special, playing directly on your pride. Pride was the first step in Lucifer's downfall.
3) Expects complete self-sacrifice from someone who is not used to sacrifice at all, ie. was too weak, selfish and non-spiritual when contacted, promises the ultimate punishment on the contrary.

I hope for your sake you will at least read the Scripture and get on the path of self-sacrifice before you start spreading what you've heard, to make yourself spiritually stronger. While on that path, you might realize that it was not what you thought.

Cold and lonely there?

>Cold and lonely there?
I beg your pardon?

Are you cold and lonely where you are?

Nope, I'm at work, sitting in the room with 5 other people. And also, whenever I feel lonely, I just pray and it goes away.

Let me tell you one more thing, demons are in direct contact with some fortune-tellers. That shit is no joke. They WILL give you the partial truth designed to eventually mislead you and/or others. But that particular assumption was not true.

But, I have no pride in what im doing, other than the one feels when he is pleasing to the lord. I lost my pride for myself the day I gave my will over tothe Lord. Now I only have faith, faith in God and that He has placed His faith in me.

I hope for your sake that you're right, brother. Still, if that was indeed the Lord, He has a completely different message for the rest of us, so keep that one for yourself and unleash it when the time is right.

What if it's your imaginary friend that's not actually God here? What if it's Satan, who chose to go to a place as backwards as Serbia, to whisper your ear?

LA OBRA DE DIOS NOS EMPEQUEÑECE.

It might be possible, but if that's the case, Christianity in its entirety is Satan's trick, because His signs were all guiding me toward Christian morals and eventually Christian faith.

He has been trying to get it across for quite some time. And what I wrote, is His message. I have zero doubts.

How better to grow his own strength than to direct you to a religion where he's considered a powerful force?

Also, I don't buy that at all, because Christianity offers long-term happiness, whereas the opposite (Satanism) offers momentary happiness, with no concern for the future.
Also, my faith was strong before I had that experience, and it's not like an evil entity to only show itself to those who believe in it. It would instead attempt to sway as many unbelievers as possible.

Bless you for your faith.

Rejection of Papal infallibility and reunion into the Apostolic Catholic Church when?

Also, when will you dethrone the current cuck Pope, so we can respect you again?

Reminder that christians worship THIS

Yes I am aware that this current Pope is a bit theologically lax, but he hasn't said anything really heretical.
It's just the Mainstream Media blowing things out of proportion as per usual.
Amoris Laetitia thankfully isn't Canon Law, and will never be so long as the Curia has anything to say about it.
>Rejection of Papal infallibility
As much as I would love for our Churches to reunite I simply can't do that.
I believe that you may be over-estimating the power of Papal infallibility.
It doesn't mean the Pope can dictate whatever he wants.
Besides, didn't Christ say the Church would be built on Peter?

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.

You have good taste.
Although personally, I prefer Kýrie, eléison.
Nothing can beat the Gregorian Chant imo.

Reminder that THIS was made by the (((team of Israeli scientists))).

>Besides, didn't Christ say the Church would be built on Peter?
No, he said that the Church is His body and tasked Peter with taking care of it. He absolutely does not have the right to violate the Scripture, as the last few Popes and many other historically were repeatedly doing.
If Papal infallibility and possibly some other non-Biblical doctrines were rejected, Christians would reunite.

The reason he's called Peter is because Christ called him the stone on which the Church would be built upon.
Also, faith isn't scripture alone, faith is Scripture, tradition and theology.
A trinity you could say.
>other non-Biblical doctrines
Are you referring to the Filioque?

nonsense and error

I think he's Larping.

everyone's/larping shilling, our board is under attack

Jesus wasn't born on December 25. Nobody knows when Jesus was born. - in fact some people think he was born in September.
December 25th was Saturnalia in Rome before the roman emperor merged the Babylonian worship of Nimrod, Semiramis, and Tammuz into Christianity, and killed the people who didn't agree.
Also, something something winter solstice.

False, this is but a common myth.
Saturnalia was on the 17th of December.
Many early Christians made accounts of Jesus's birth.
Also the ''muh Pagun genocide'' meme is getting on my nerves.
Christianity wasn't brought to Europe by the Sword.
This is leftist propaganda.
