where the skirt at?

YIS

Looks pretty fuckin' gay dude

Binge read this over the weekend. Very excited to see this now

What the fuck? this looks like ass.

Those animations are fucking garbage.

Looks DOPE.

Those designs look disgusting.

I will watch this because I like the girls but fuck them for ruining the artstyle.

>That animation
Fucking heck they fucked it up whatever still watching but come on IG you can do miles better than this

Absolutely love the design, especially the eyes.

It's Haikyuu all over again.
Even the megane girl looks similar.

I didn't want grating shit in my anime
Can't she drop out

>fuck them for ruining the artstyle.
What do you mean? It looks really close to the manga art.

If the manga we're talking about is haikyuu then sure. Prod IG is having a problem with designs.

I understand that they have the same character designer for the anime, but I think you're overreacting.

The animation is so fluid.
As a secondaryfag I have no problem at all. In fact, it looks great to me.

It looks like a more shitty version of Haikyuu designs.

>The animation is so fluid.
I hope you are joking

>He thinks the animation is not fluid
Post fluid-est current season's animation with the same level of complexity in terms of character detail. I dare you.

I don't expect it to be as good as the manga, but as long as the animation's not complete trash, I'm happy.

How far will it go? Just before Chinatsu is introduced or right after?

The dance animation and some faces look weird. Am i the only one who think that? (When Shizuku is dancing or making up)

The women look fucking hideous, who thought those faces were a good idea?

...

Shizuku's dance looked odd, yeah. I didn't notice anything with the make up.

faces looks perfect in some frame.

What the fuck is this? I don't know if laugh or cringe.

That's more of a design issue.

It's as fluid as any other anime, seems like it's mostly animated in 3s.

Since this is IG we can at least expect little QUALITY, but the show will be mostly static frames and flapping mouths with some bursts of sakuga every other episode, like with most of their shows.

...

...

...

Tatara looked too muscular in 6second mark.

Still only watching this for Hyoudou.

...

They could have at least changed the color scheme.

Now it looked like it's in the same universe as Haikyu.

...

This kind of looks like trash

It's the same

I don't think i will expect anything from the other dancing scene.

This should be a good challenge for the Haikyuu team. They've accumulated experience animating body movement so moving on to animating dances next is fitting.

Holy shit, that's fucking awful. Plus the neck is way too long.

As far as i know, only the character designer worked on Haikyuu. The director Itazu Yoshimi only directed Mitsuami no Kamisama beofre.

Isn't it by the same I.G. sub-studio that did Haikyuu?

no idea, they haven't shown the full staff yet

Why are those PV only 30s long? Is it a Production IG thing?

What the fuck are all you idiots complaining about? The animation and desingns are good.

Designs look fine (although something about MC's face looks too "clean" to me in some shots), but that one brief dance-practice shot isn't promising. I'm hoping that's not representative of the actual dances.

Is this going to be one cour or 2-cour?

We don't know yet.

I hope this gets more seasons until we have Chii-chan.

We'd probably get her at the beginning of a second cour, so it's possible she'll arrive in this season depending on how long it is.

It's really not. Her neck is nowhere near that long in the manga.

This is my number one concern for the anime. The manga has some incredible still images of motion that I don't think actual animation will properly represent.

Name another studio who could animate it better, idiots.

Oh god I can already feel the disappointment in advance.

A1-Pictures with an actual fucking budget could do it.

Why are you trying to start studio wars? Fuck off.

Sunrise, SAO A-1, Kyoto and industry gathering Madhouse or Bones. IG can do it too but they are too complacent. For fucks sake see the PP movie and you'll get why neo IG sucks major dick.

Tatara looks too buff in that scene where he reaches for the top of his head.

>see the PP movie
No shit. PP was quick cash grab.
I knew that they didn't care about this series since its S2 was fully outsourced to Tatsunoko.

>neo IG
A lot of their senior teams are making their own studio like PA Works, Brain's Base, Kinema Citrus, & WIT.

Why are their necks so ugly? That guy looks like a dinosaur

It give you 'strong', 'powerful', & 'passionate' impression.
Pic related. IG is not wrong for animating that way though.

This is not Moe SoL series, for god's sake.

Yeah thanks I know what human necks look like, but apparently IG artists don't.

>A1-Pictures
Are you mem'ing?

> For fucks sake see the PP movie and you'll get why neo IG sucks major dick
But Miss Hokusai and Haikyuu have great animation.

>implying A1 is bad
They have access to some of the most talented people in the industry. Alos they have done impeccable animation work before.

>Haikyuu
10 seconds of sakuga every season while being filled by static frames and camera pans isn't really a high standard.
>Miss whatever
I don't watch pretentious trash.

>.

Oh, you were shitposting. Carry on.

See, this faggot is just baiting. Just ignore him.

And I.G. has links to even greater animators, the cream of the crop even.

>I don't watch pretentious trash.
user, you literally just said you'd watched Psycho Pass.

PP is fun. A movie about something I don't care about is pretentious because/a/ was shilling the director like he's the next Miyazaki.

Thisu. Great taste.

Oh fug

It looks like one guy really salty about something, and shit posting this entire thread by himself, to be honest.

Not to mention all the defensive haikyuufags who can't stand any criticism against the art style.

I expected the color palette to be better.

Actually, what do you have against the art style?

I think they did its best out of what it could do. I expected a trainwreck like tsugumomo character design, but unexpectedly they somewhat kept up with the manga.

Or did you actually thought you will get a 1:1 replica of the manga art? Because that is retarded.

>let's take a frame and shit about it

This could literally have been fixed if they made her head just a tiny bit bigger
There's no excuse for shit like this

The anime is airing this summer (around July). There is still time.

I think it makes the characters look ugly and wiry. Just because they put a lot of effort in animation doesn't mean that the result is appealing. I had the same issue with Haikyuu, the characters looked weird and somehow off.

Wait, the Tsugumomo design is a trainwreck? Fuck that's shit news. Guess it's always hard to live up to quality manga art..

Really? I thought it was quite nice, for what it was. But then again, I like the Haikyuu art itself.

Not really a trainwreck, but you could tell from the design that it barely had any budget and they put some random new guy up to the task.

It looks like those plastic characters in kids show 5 years ago.
All the potential that could have been is lost.

I think it is going to be 2-cour anime since Production IG made 2-cour or more with the sports anime they adapted like Prince of Tennis, Kuroko no Basuke, Diamond no Ace and Haikyuu

DnA is a collab with madhouse and has shit-ton of sponsors.

it's telling you to buy the BD user
do it
