I agree with the idols, at this point is basically a checklist to increase the sales (see that recent onsen project, or Uma musume), but other than that it's fine.

Fighting magical girls is okay with me. None of the girls are particularly tragic though, sides Sadone who's family is all dead.

It looks like extremely generic garbage, and the large number of girls screams "we're going for quantity over quality because we want to pander to as much people as possible". Will probably give it the 3 episode rule but my expectations are low.

I have nothing against the concepts per se, my problem is when the concept gets so popular that they make tens to hundreds of copys of the same stuff.

Aside from Kanon and Shiho who are fairly new, the casts are mostly famous names. Not to mention the 4 teacher.

The question will be, which ones will get the main focus?

The first three obviously, Miki, Subaru and Haruka. Asuha will get focus in the sense that she's the boss of the girls. After that, it's a tossup. I am honestly hoping for a more brutal story, since you don't really see that aspect in the game.

Probably main 1st years trio, Kanon and Shiho because of Shillhoe, probably Sadone.

If it's just 12-13 episodes, chance is they will focus per group instead of per character.

The most brutal I know is in Kurumi's Flora story when Kurumi shielded Nozomi from an Irous attack and got her hospitalized, and when Sadone removed her robotic ears
